United Nations buds as the undisputed one world government, then in a “1/2 hour” the Lord cuts it down.

Isaiah 18:3-6

“All inhabitants of the world and dwellers on the earth: When he lifts up a banner on the mountains, you see it; and when he blows a trumpet, you hear it.” Isaiah 18:3

The verses of this post pick-up from the verses of the post on Isaiah 18:1-2. In that post, Egypt and Cush negotiate to unite as a military confederacy against the Assyrians. The king of the kingdom of Judah was caught between joining Egypt and Cush, or joining the Assyrians, or remaining faithful to the word of God, who says, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 The Lord promised to bring the wrath of His judgment against Egypt for rallying nations to a confederacy based on military power and might. Judah was manipulated to choose between one military force or the other, intimidating them away from the Lord. Judah made the wrong decision and chose to give tribute to the Assyrians, rejecting God, His commandments, and the sacrifices made to atone for sin. Today, we would say that Jesus Christ was rejected in order to find refuge under an umbrella of military and cultural force.

The “he” in that verse is Egypt, and when Egypt lifted up a banner, or rather called nations together, the nations all around saw the banner and heard the trumpet calling them. Egypt had a reputation of negotiating military confederacies with other nations. Israel even sent ambassadors to Egypt to negotiate an agreement for weapons and soldiers, as described in the post on Ezekiel 17. Israel wanted weapons and soldiers to fight against the king of Babylon, as quoted, “But he rebelled against him by sending his ambassadors to Egypt, that they might give him horses and many people.” Ezekiel 17:15 The “he” in that verse is the governor/ambassador of Israel. The Lord wants everyone of us on this earth to listen to what He is saying in the verses of this post, concerning the countries that gather nations together in a confederacy of military power and might. It doesn’t end well for this world, as seen in the coming verses, and as we know by the foreknowledge of the coming of the Battle of Armageddon of Revelations 16:12-16. Ezekiel 39 describes the Day After the Battle of Armageddon.

The United Nations already has a military actively serving in countries around the world. They have weapons of all types, such as firearms like rifles and pistols, light machine guns, armored vehicles with mounted weapons, mortars, tear gas and rubber bullets. The countries of the United Nations supply those weapons as a joint venture for missions across the globe. Obviously, the United Nations is a military confederacy already today. When the United Nations become the undisputed one world government, they will have control over the most powerful military of the world, a global military. The coming verses gives light on how the Battle of Armageddon comes about towards the final end to this world system.

“For so the Lord said to me, “I will take My rest, and I will look from My dwelling place like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” Isaiah 18:4

For the Lord to take His rest means He will not lift a hand to stop the government of the beast from destroying itself. He has already given His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life, John 3:16. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

The Lord will watch from Heaven as if being the eyes in the clear heat in sunshine. Clear heat is the direct, intense heat felt from sunlight and results from the sun’s rays penetrating the atmosphere without obstruction. That describes global warming, even as the Lord sets back and watches as the sun scorches the earth. Global warming is sent by God and is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9, as quoted, “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.”

We know what happens to a cloud of dew in the intense heat…it vanishes! That is what will happen to the global government of the beast, its global culture, its power and might, and its global military.

Global warming plays a role in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness [Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11]. The Battle of Armageddon happens after that in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-17 The Day of the Lord comes as described in Zachariah 14.

“You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire will devour them. Their offspring You will destroy from the earth, and their descendants from among the sons of men. For they intended evil against You…” Psalms 21:9-11

“For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He will both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches.” Isaiah 18:5

The United Nations will become the undisputed one world government, and will enjoy that power and might for a short time. Their bud will be made perfect, and the sour grape ripening in the flower…and we all know how sour grapes are ripening in the flower of the fruit of the Spirit. However, the Lord will cut off the sprigs and cut down the low branches, which is to cut down the buds and ripening grapes, destroying the prosperity, power, and might of the global government.

After the opening the Seven Seals, there will be “1/2 hour” of silence in Heaven, a time when the undisputed global government of the beast buds and begins to ripen as sour grapes in a flower. That “1/2 hour” is a time when God takes His rest, sits back, and prepares to watch the destruction of the government of the beast, “When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” Revelations 8:1 After that “1/2 hour” of silence, the Lord begins to “cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches.” All of that is described in the post on Revelations 8. After the “1/2 hour” of silence in Heaven, the Lord unleashes the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11 and also the events of the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. Through those events, the sprigs and branches of the blossoming government of the beast will be cut down.

During the “1/2 hour” of silence in Heaven, the seal of God is placed on the forehead of all whose faith is in Jesus Christ, in preparation of the events of the Seven Trumpets and the Seven Plagues, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” 7:3

“Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength…” Habakkuk 3:17-19

“They will be left together for the mountain birds of prey and for the beasts of the earth; the birds of prey will summer on them, and all the beasts of the earth will winter on them.” Isaiah 18:6

The global culture of the beast will be left for the powerful birds of prey, for the beasts of the earth to devour, for the birds of prey to summer on, and the beasts to winter on. For birds of prey to “summer on” means they flock together near food sources where they can hunt without interruption. For the beasts to “winter on” means about the same as the birds of prey “summering on”. That is when animals relies on specific territories for their food during the winter months, and will scavenge whatever they can.

The powerless global government of the beast and its global culture will be “summered on” and “”wintered on” within a lawless, chaotic, and demonic world. And the sun is a big part of rendering the global culture powerless, “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Revelations 19:17-18
