Lord has victory over the global nation, powerful and treading down, whose land the rivers divide.

“In that time…” Isaiah 18:7a refers to the events happening, as described in the post on Isaiah 18:3-6. That is the time when the global government of the beast is cut down like buds being cut off and like the sour grapes ripening in the flowers being cut off. “For so the Lord said to me, “I will take My rest, and I will look from My dwelling place like clear heat in sunshine, Like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He will both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches. They will be left together for the mountain birds of prey and for the beasts of the earth; The birds of prey will summer on them, and all the beasts of the earth will winter on them.” Isaiah 18:4-6

“…a present will be brought to the Lord of hosts from a people tall and smooth of skin, and from a people terrible from their beginning onward…” Isaiah 18:7b

The present being brought to the Lord is the global culture of the beast, as they are defeated and all nations become the Lord’s and His Christ’s, “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” Revelations 11:15

The global culture is symbolically tall and smooth skinned, referring to being empowered by the beast [tall] and having a form of Godliness [smooth skinned] but denying God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. They are those who in their attitude and spirit say, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 They are a people who are terrible from their beginning and onward. “Terrible” means they choose to serve the beast and are determined to destroy the testimony of Jesus. That beast gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel, which means the global culture wants nothing to do with the Holy Spirit being part of who they are. They reject Jesus who puts sin in remission and gives us the Holy Spirit. They are atheists who oppose belief in the Creator. As a result, the world becomes a “dwelling for demons
and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2.

“A nation powerful and treading down, whose land the rivers divide—” Isaiah 18:7c

The powerful nation is the global government of the beast, which has built the confederacy of the world’s nations. That confederacy is known as the United Nations, which was established in 1945, immediately after World War 2, and brought the government of the beast with it. That is described in Daniel 8:1-14.

Today, we see how the government of the beast is treading down countries and nations for the purpose of bringing national conformity to global goals. The major global goal is for the United Nations to be established as the undisputed one world government. The global culture is instrumental in doing that as they protest and riot in cities around the world. They are making lemonade with lemons, a cup that the global culture of the beast drinks from. They are demanding change to national heritage and culture in order to bring all nations and people into the heritage and culture of a global “family”. That is a family rooted in serving the beast that unites them by governing through what they are given to speak, do, think, and feel.

“A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3

The rivers divide the global landscape. It is a divide between those who live for the atheistic culture of the beast and we who choose to live for God through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The divide is persecution, “The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.” Revelations 13:15 That beast is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through people by giving them what to speak, do, think, and feel. “To the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, to Mount Zion.” Isaiah 18:7d

Where is the place of the name of the Lord of hosts? That place is the eternal New Jerusalem, in the new heaven and earth, which is Mount Zion. “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.” Hebrews 12:22-24

“After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!” Revelations 19:1-5

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
