The great global reset: Silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
“When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” Revelation 8:1
“For about half an hour,” there is silence in Heaven, and nothing is being heard from God. That silence comes after the Apostle John saw the vision of the opening of the first six of the Seven Seals, but before the global tribulation is poured out onto the world through the Seven Trumpets. The opening of the seventh seal, of this chapter, reveals the events of the Seven Trumpets.
That “half an hour” of silence in Heaven relates to what is called the “global reset” of the new world order. When there is silence in Heaven for “half-hour”, that is a time of global peace and security for the undisputed global government of the beast and its global culture. Then, after a half hour, destruction comes, “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they will not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, He will both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches.” Isaiah 18:5 Click here for a post on Isaiah 18:3-6.
The “global reset” is when the global government of the beast, operating through the United Nations, takes advantage of the catastrophe which happens under the opening of the first six of the Seven Seals. The opening of the six seals reveals the appearance of the rider on the white horse who comes in peaceably, but under the dominion of the rider on the white horse, peace is taken away and there is violence between the people on this planet. Then there is economic distress, then come hunger, pandemics, and vicious animals. Then John sees a vision of those who were killed in the past, for living for Jesus Christ, and they wonder how long it will be before the Lord brings the wrath of His judgment to the earth. Then national leaders feel hopeless and distressed within the economic, social, and environmental calamities that are upon them.
The “global reset” is seen as the United Nations steps in as the Christ and savior to cure the global economic, social, and environmental upheaval within nations around the world. That is what the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations are all about. They claim to be resetting the chaos of the present global order to create a new world order of peace, security, and prosperity. Their intent is to create an earthly Garden of Eden, but the Lord God says this, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3
Prayers are offered in Heaven for Believers before the sounding of the Seven Trumpets.
“And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.” Revelation 8:2
The seven angels and seven trumpets symbolize the events of the seven trumpets being on all seven continents of the world.
The scripture in this post describes the events at the sounding of the first, second, third, and fourth trumpets. The events of the fifth and sixth trumpets are described in Revelations 8. The event of the seventh trumpet is described in Revelations 11:15-19.
“Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand.” Revelation 8:3–4
In the Holy Bible, a censer was an instrument to burn incense in, and the smoke symbolized prayers rising up to God. In Heaven today, an angel has a “golden censer”, standing at the altar of God. The angel has a large amount of incense, to offer it with the very many prayers of those who live for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Those prayers are upon the “golden altar” before the throne of God.
Today, our prayers seem unheard as the beast that has power over physiology interjects feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that make our prayers seem useless. That beast has turned the house of prayer into a den of thieves, as Jesus says, “It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’” Matthew 21:13 An angel of the Lord explains to Daniel that some events must happen through all the prayers we might pray, as described in Daniel 9:20-27.
Our Lord God hears all of the prayers within our spirit, He knows the difficulties, afflictions, and persecutions of living for Him, and Jesus Christ makes intercession for us. Those prayers are within a bowl, with very much incense, and are heard at the throne of God. As followers of Jesus Christ, the sounding of the Seven Trumpets is an answer to prayer. Our Lord is bringing judgment to a world that afflicts and mocks we who put our faith in Jesus Christ. The Lord is listening to our spirit and the struggling of our heart, and not a word needs to be spoken. “For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.” Matthew 6:8
“Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.” Revelation 8:5-6
The censer holding our prayers is filled with fire, from the altar, and thrown to the earth. The fire thrown to the earth from the altar is the judgment of God coming through the events of the Seven Trumpets. That comes as a result of the prayers of we who live for Him, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Our prayers may be softly within our spirit, but the answer from God is one of noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake. As the word of the Lord says, “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9
A brief preview of the first four of the Seven Trumpets.
This chapter covers four of the Seven Trumpets. The hail and fire mixed with blood burns up” 1/3 of the earth and all the green grass”. The huge mountain that is all ablaze brings havoc to the seas. Then, a great star, that is burning like a torch, comes from the sky and contaminates “1/3 of the rivers and springs”. The events of the fourth trumpet prevent a third of the light from the sun, moon, and stars from shining.
During the time of the events of the Seven Trumpets, and onward, such events will not be broadcast through social media, news media, etc. Even today, there is already the momentum to restrict what is communicated to the public, and it’s in the name of prohibiting “hate speech” and anti-government sentiments. News media, social media, etc. are becoming a tool to communicate what the governing authorities want to show you…what they want you to think and believe. Televisions are in every home around the world, and we know it is less about information and entertainment and more about programming the minds of people around the world. Even then, people know that something is terribly wrong as shortages become severe, and they are living in misery.
The first trumpet sounds.
“The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.” Revelation 8:7
The events of the first trumpet bring hail and fire mixed with blood, and they are thrown to earth. We know that physically, fire and ice don’t mix together because fire melts ice and melted ice extinguishes fire. However, rocket fuel is stored at extremely low temperatures, far below freezing, and that mixes with the fiery blast of rocket engines. The fire and ice of rockets are mixed with blood when they are hurled to the earth, designed to bring harm and devastation. Being mingled with blood is the blood of human beings, people who are killed when the hail and fire are hurled to the earth.
The hail and fire mingled with blood devastates the resources of the earth and takes the life of people. A third of the earth’s trees are burned up, and all the earth’s green grass is burned up. That will be devastating for the global government of the beast [United Nations] and its global culture, who prides themselves in creating a “green earth”, an “environmentally friendly” global family. The Spirit of the Lord, through Isaiah, says this about the goal of creating an earthly Garden of Eden, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3
The Lord is not against people being good stewards of the planet that He has given to us. But He is against people trying to create an earthly Garden of Eden on the foundation of rejecting God as the Creator, rejecting Jesus as the Christ and Savior of the world, and not wanting the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are.
With the global destruction of a lot of trees and all the grass, we know how the global economy would be hit hard by that. The resources of the global government [United Nations] would dwindle drastically, and at that time, the world’s resources are under the control of the United Nations as the undisputed one world government. The promises of prosperity and security for peoples and nations will begin to fade into severe austerity when distributing available resources. Devastation would be brought to farming, lumbering, housing, and everything gathered from the earth, etc. The number of people unemployed would skyrocket, standing idle, and begin taking a toll on the global government trying to provide for them when the resources of the earth are not being gathered. The world would be facing an absolute humanitarian crisis in a global culture that prides itself on humanitarian principles.
That is just glimpse into what the final fate of the global economy will be, as quoted, “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’” revelations 18:9-10 Click for a post on revelations 18 about the collapse of the global economy.
The second trumpet sounds.
“Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.” Revelation 8:8-9
The events of the second trumpet bring a great mountain burning with fire and it is thrown into the sea. A mountain symbolizes something immovable and huge, so the mountain thrown into the sea is a very huge and immovable destructive force. Something that cannot be removed from the sea any easier than a mountain can be removed from the earth. Those on the earth at that time would certainly know what it is, if they had access to news and social media that gave that information to the public, which will not be the case. That very large and immovable destructive force is burning with fire.
A third of the sea becomes blood, referring to the destruction of the oceans and seas around the world. Today, the United Nations and its global culture prides themselves in guarding the oceans and seas, to protect them from destruction. With a huge and immovable destructive force affecting a third of the seas and oceans, the global culture of the beast will be devastated in their inability to protect their much-needed resources.
A third of the living creatures in the sea dies. That includes a third of all the food resources that would be used to feed the world through the distribution of supply from the resources of the global economy. Not to mention the “balance-of-nature” within the oceans and seas.
A third of the ships are destroyed. Those ships would include cargo ships delivering food resources from shore to shore, cargo ships delivering non-food resources, commercial fishing ships, military ships, etc. The ability of the global government to efficiently carry on with the global distribution of resources will be greatly affected.
What happens to the seas when the second trumpet blows is a glimpse into the total collapse of the global economy of the beast, as quoted, “Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’” Revelations 18:17-19
What happens to the seas is on top of what happens to the earth when the first trumpet sounds.
Today, we see how close the United Nations is to becoming the undisputed one world government. They were established in 1945, immediately after World War 2, and brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14, and also Revelations 17. We see how the United Nations continually warn about how the oceans and seas are in extreme jeopardy of plunging into disaster. They warn about the warming of ocean currents destroying life in the oceans, leaving the fishing industry devastated. They warn of how the coral reef is dying out and threatening the extinction of ocean life. They warn that there will soon be more pollution in the oceans then what there is ocean life. They warn against overfishing that is depleting the oceans of marine life.
This is worth repeating about the futile desires of the global culture to create an earthly Garden of Eden, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3
The third trumpet sounds.
“Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.” Revelation 8:10-11
Within the events of the third trumpet, a great star from heaven, burning like a torch, falls on the rivers and springs of water. Rives and springs of water are the earth’s fresh water supply, not the salt water of the seas and oceans. The freshwaters are turned poisonous by the star falling on them that burns like a torch. Many die from those bitter waters. We know that star is not a meteor because meteors do not poison waters to the point of killing those who drink from the affected waters.
The Holy Spirit speaks to us in symbolisms because the writers of the Bible didn’t have in their vocabulary to describe the destructive forces in the world today. Their vocabulary did not include rockets, guns, bombs, jet fuel, space technology, bio warfare, etc. Today, we almost immediately associate a burning torch falling from the sky with either meteors or missiles. Even today, before the sounding of this third trumpet, we are aware that missiles can pass through space, then return to strike a target somewhere on earth. Powerful nations of the world have their own military equipment in space, referred to as “Space Force”. Here in the United States, “Space Force” has been made the fifth branch of the military, alongside the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines.
The great star that fell from heaven, burning like a torch, is some type of military weapon that will be available during the time when this third trumpet sounds. Apparently, it is some type of biochemical weapon, nuclear weapon, or whatever type of such poisons they have at the time of the third trumpet. Fresh waters are contaminated by poison and turns them bitter, a bitterness that kills many who drink from those waters.
The Spirit of the Lord speaks these words through Zachariah, as quoted, “Their flesh will dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes will dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues will dissolve in their mouths.” Zechariah 14:12 Click here for a post on the Day of the Lord.
For a third of the fresh waters to be turned poisonous is a global humanitarian catastrophe. A catastrophe that the global government of the beast, operating through the United Nations, are unable to prevent. The promise of peace, safety, and prosperity is swallowed up in insecurity and fear, peril, and economic austerity. The lack of fresh water would affect personal hygiene, the ability to flush toilets, it would prohibit most cooking, irrigation of crops would be stopped, livestock couldn’t be watered, store shelves would be bare because water is needed to package foods, doctors would not be able to keep hands and utensils clean, hospitals would be incapable of functioning, etc. Disease and pandemics would begin to spread.
Today, we hear a lot of talk about the need to protect fresh water from contamination. We are told that lead pipes cause the poisoning of the water. We are told that manufacturing operations are poisoning the water with toxins. We are told that farming animals for meat production is poisoning the water from the draining of animal waste. We are told that faulty water infrastructure risks poisoning the water. We are told of the constant wrecks and other accidents that spill chemicals into fresh waters. They are in for a rude experience when the third trumpet sounds.
“Because they… have not obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they have walked according to the dictates of their own hearts and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them,” therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.” Jeremiah 9:14-15
The “Baal” that the culture of this world serves is the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. The one beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. Bywhat they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. They despise belief in God the Creator, reject the need for Christ Jesus, and do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are.
“You who turn justice to wormwood, and lay righteousness to rest in the earth!” Amos 5:7
The fourth trumpet sounds.
“Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.” Revelation 8:12
When the fourth trumpet sounds, a third of the lights of the sky are darkened. That includes a third of the light of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars. That would be like a curtain draped over the skies so that a third of the day does not shine nor a third of the night lights.
A third is about 33%, and the remaining two thirds is about 66%. That enables us to see that 66% of the lights of the sun, moon, and stars will be shining. If we had a dimmable lightbulb with options of 100%, 66%, or 33%, if we chose the 66% option, then a third of the light would be dimmed, while two thirds would illuminate the room. That doesn’t sound like much, but the reality of today’s world, as described in the next paragraph, shows just how possible, yet dramatic, it is to place a “curtain” over the skies to dim a third of the lights.
For 1/3 of the light of the sun, moon, and stars to be darkened would look similar to the sky in the photo below. The same dark “curtain” over the sky, as seen in the photo below, would be there during the night, too, blocking the light of the moon and stars.

Think of how the experts of today are devising was to combat global warming by developing a “curtain” over the sky to cover and the heat of the sun. That would dim the light of the sun, and at the same time, that “curtain” would dim the lights of the stars and moon. Attempts are being made to place a “curtain” in the sky to darken the sun to control its ability to scorch the earth. As one example, the White House, of the United States of America. has come up with several options to block out the sun, as described in the following link, White House is searching ways to block the sun from shining on earth. I’m sure there are many plans, and much secrecy, concerning the urgent need to darken the sun, which darkens the moon and the stars.
The sun is struck in the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9, which corresponds to the events of this Fourth Trumpet. Global warming is the Fourth Plague, as quoted, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” Revelation 16:8-9 Today, we are already seeing scientists devising ways to darken the light of the sun, envision what it will be like in the time when the Fourth trumpet sounds.
One of the urgent goals of the United Nations is to combat global warming, which they depend on the collective action of the global culture to turn back the sun’s intense heat. They believe they can solve global warming by implementing international clean energy policies, turning away from fossil fuels like coal and oil, banning many aerosols, eliminating more cows to reduce methane gas, etc. Unfortunately, they don’t believe in God the Creator, reject any need for Jesus Christ, and do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are.
As an irony, we all know how a lack of light would affect the “clean energy” goals of the global government. For example, lower light from the sun would affect the ability of solar panels to collect energy from the sun, drastically reducing the ability to generate “clean” energy. On top of that, the sun’s light/heat is the primary driver of wind, which means with reduced light/heat from the sun, the wind turbines are drastically less effective in generating “clean” energy.
With less light and warmth from the sun, farming would be affected, having negative consequences on the ability to grow crops. Also, the reduction of light would be an unbearable strain on whatever is left of the electrical grid in the era when the fourth trumpet sounds. That’s because the electric generators would have to produce much more electricity in lower light conditions, and through the blackout during the night hours. of the night skies. The impacts on animals would be devastating sense they use the light of the moon and stars to hunt by. Animals would begin hunting in the “day” hours, with humans becoming part of their choice of prey. Animals would have to adjust their awake and sleeping hours around their need to hunt food, sleeping through the blackness of night and hunting during the “day” when they could see better.
This verse is always report repeating in light of the global government of the beast trying to be the Christ and Savior of the planet and humanity by creating an earthly Garden of Eden, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. a people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:2-3
From any perspective, much of the sunshine has gone out of the world and it has become a cols, cruel, and dark place to live. Even so, life is found in the Son of God, through the forgiveness of sin, and that is where Salvation is, that is the Salvation that resurrects us into eternal life. It’s necessary to believe in God, accept Jesus Christ as Lord of our life, and to live in the Holy Spirit.
More woes for people on earth when the next three trumpets sound.
“And I looked, and I heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!” Revelations 8:13
There are three more woes after the first four trumpets sound. Those woes are the fifth and sixth trumpet of Revelations 9, and the seventh trumpet of Revelations 11:15-19. While the seventh trumpet is the return of Jesus Christ and brings rejoicing to we whose faith is in Jesus Christ, it is a woeful time for those who reject Him, as quoted, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
