Their valiant ones will cry outside, their ambassadors of peace will weep, the highway laid waste, and the earth wastes away.

The valiant who will cry outside are those who plundered although they had not been plundered and dealt treacherously when they had no not been dealt with treacherously, as described in the post on Isaiah 33:1 That describes the global government of the beast.

“Surely their valiant ones will cry outside, the ambassadors of peace will weep bitterly.” Isaiah 33:7

The valiant ones of today’s culture are those who boast inthei rattitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 The beast has power over physiology to empower them with what to say, do, feel, and think. They will be the ones crying when they are left outside of the New Jerusalem at the day of the return of Christ Jesus, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7

The “ambassadors of peace” describe those who speak on behalf of the United Nations, which is aspiring to become the undisputed one world government, the government of the beast. Through their “Sustainable Development Goals”, they present themselves as the ambassadors of peace for all nations and people around the world. While they set their sights on creating an earthly Garden of Eden, they will weep bitterly at the destruction of their dream, as quoted, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;” Joel 2:2-3

The United Nations was formed in 1945, immediately after World War 2, and brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14. The formation of the global government is also described in Revelations 17.

“The highways lie waste, the traveling man ceases. He has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man.” Isaiah 33:8

The highways that are laid waste are those which the culture of the beast travels by, “…for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.” Matthew 7:13 The traveling man will cease…period. Those who reject Jesus Christ travel the broad highway because they willingly break the covenant made through Jesus Christ, which is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Our Lord Jesus says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

“…he has despised the cities, he regards no man.” refers to how love has gone cold in this world, how the eternal city of the New Jerusalem has been despised and how even the earthly cities hold no “sacred” value to the masses of the culture of the beast. They do whatever the beast gives them to do and speak. As goes their despise for cities, so goes their despise for the people of the cities. Jesus says, “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13 Click here for a post on the “lawless one” from 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8.

“The earth mourns and languishes, Lebanon is shamed and shriveled; Sharon is like a wilderness, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.” Isaiah 33:9

Lebanon is the place of Tyre and Sidon and exist to this day as Tyre and Sidon exist within modern-day Lebanon, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. In the days of the Isaiah, Tyre and Sidon were known as a major, major economic hub [exports and imports], far and wide, and were located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. That is prophetic for the humiliation of the shrinking of the global economy which collapses, as described in Revelations 18.

Sharon, Bashan, and Carmel were lush plains that were known for fertile soil, abundant pastures, and agricultural productivity, enabling prosperity. The prophecy from the Spirit of the Lord is that the source of prosperity would become like a wilderness, a desert. That is a prophecy against the global resources of the global government that is progressing in controlling the global economy. Those resources will be wiped away like fruits shaken from off a tree. We already see some of that happening, today, through the effects of global warming, the whole of climate change, which is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. The events of the First through Fourth Trumpets of Revelations 8, describe the resources of the earth and oceans being severely affected, along with the light of the sun, moon, and stars being dimmed by “1/3”.

Christ Jesus says to us, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
