“Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done; And you who are near, acknowledge My might.”

“Now I will rise,” says the Lord; “Now I will be exalted, now I will lift Myself up.” Isaiah 33:10

“Now I will rise” refers to what happens in the verses of the post on Isaiah 33:7-9. The valiant ones of the culture of the beast will cry outside the realm of Christ Jesus, their ambassadors of peace will weep bitterly, and their highways will be laid waste. That’s because they break the covenant, which is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 They do not have any respect for people nor the cities they live in. Even as we see today, the earth itself is languishing…wasting away.

In that day, the Lord proclaims, “Now I will be exalted, now I will lift Myself up.”

“You will conceive chaff, you will bring forth stubble; Your breath, as fire, will devour you.” Isaiah 33:11

When the global government of the beast collapses, they will literally be conceiving chaff and bringing forth stubble, meaning that the accumulation of resources to supply the wealth of the global economy will not be adequate. That describes the collapse of the global economy, which is revealed in Revelations 18. They will also be conceiving chaff and bringing forth stubble in that the fruit of the Holy Spirit will not be with them because of the rejection of Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit. Today, the word “conceive” is largely used when speaking of giving birth to a newborn child. Today’s culture of the beast embraces the killing of the unborn, aborting the fruit of the womb and bringing forth chaff and stubble. Also, the children who are conceived are under the control of the beast that has power over physiology to mold the sounds they make, their behaviors, their feelings that lead them to cry or smile, and even how their minds perceive the world around them. Our Lord Jesus says, “…whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea…Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:6, Matth w19:14

We live in a culture, which is global, that has breath of fire. and by their own fire they devour themselves. Their breath breathes out fiery opposition towards belief in God, their fiery breath scorches the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and they reign down fire upon the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20 By their own fiery breath, they destroy themselves by creating an environment of lawlessness, which is what happens when Jesus Christ is rejected, who gives the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit restrains lawlessness, and when He is taken out of the way, lawlessness is unleashed, as quoted below;

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-12 Click for a post on the “lawless one”.

“And the people will be like the burnings of lime; Like thorns cut up they will be burned in the fire.” Isaiah 33:12

The burning of lime is a process that is used even today, used to create “quicklime”. It involves using intense heat and that causes the release of carbon dioxide, which is deadly in high doses. The masses of the global culture will be like the burning of lime, which definitely releases spiritual “C02” in high doses, which is deadly to them all, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8

Like thorns that are cut up, they will be burned in the eternal fire of Hell, “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are a sweet smell to God, nothing like the smell of carbon dioxide at all, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.” 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

“Hear, you who are afar off, what I have done; And you who are near, acknowledge My might.” Isaiah 33:13

Those who are afar off refers to those who are far from God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. They need to open their ears to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, “…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17 Those who are afar off also refers to every person who came to existence the thousands of years after Isaiah spoke his prophecies through the Spirit of our Lord. Our Lord Jesus came far from the time of the prophecies of Isaiah, and now the Gospel of Jesus is near to all the world, we only need to hear and believe His word. We all need to acknowledge the Might of God sent to us through Jesus Christ, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:10

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
