And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” Revelations 12:17, John 15:18-19

There is no question that children nowadays are not what they used to be. Their behavior, way of thinking, emotions, and the sounds and words that come from their mouth is not usual. I would use the words cute, adorable, witty, and bluntly sobering, even though it’s beyond what is usually found in the humanness of a child. There is an anti-Christian presence in this world with power over physiology and has the ability to form thoughts, emotions, words, and behaviors. That inner presence is snatching children from the life found in Jesus Christ by forming what they say and do. I’ve learned not to mention the name of Jesus Christ to the younger generation, and not to tell them that I follow Jesus. They start to frown, or cry, or become paralyzed, or say things that remind me of how impure I am. That is certainly something that I don’t want to confront when standing in line at Kroger’s.
Children are the future population of the community, but the future does not include natural human sentiments, nor the belief in God, nor the need for the remission of sin through the Lord Jesus, nor the Holy Spirit, nor the Bible, nor the Church. The birthing of the things of God through Jesus Christ are being snatched away.
Woman cries out with labor pain in giving birth to the Christ child.
“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.” Revelation 12:1-2
The “great sign” is the fulfillment of prophecy through the birth of the Christ, the Son of God, and Savior of the world.
Who is the woman? In the earthly sense, she is Mary, the mother of Jesus. She is clothed with the sun, referring to being a source of light and warmth to sustain human life, as the woman bearing the Christ child and Savior of the world. The moon is under her feet, referring to the activity of darkness, under the light of the moon, being subdued. Predators need the light of the moon to hunt their prey. The garland of twelve stars on her head represents the Twelve Tribes of Israel, from which came the prophecies of the coming of the Christ, whose name is Jesus. Jesus is from the tribe of Judah. Mary suffered labor pains, without the pain relief of modern days, in the process of giving birth to Jesus Christ.
Today, the “woman” is every source that gives birth to new Believers through the testimony of Jesus Christ. “She” is clothed with the sun that gives warmth and life through the Light of the World, who is Jesus Christ. “She” has the moon under her feet, referring to subduing the predatory behavior of darkness that comes against belief in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. “She” has a garland of twelve stars on her head, referring to the twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ who gave birth to the testimony of Jesus around the world. Today, there is much pain in bringing to birth new Believers who are delivered through the Gospel of Christ Jesus.
Conspiracy to kill the birth of Christ, His birth, and His ascension into Heaven.
The dragon with global dominion appears onto the scene. “And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.” Revelation 12:3
Along with the sign of the fulfilment of Bible prophecy, by the birth of Jesus Christ, another sign appeared in heaven. There was a great, fiery red dragon. That is a fire that seeks to destroy belief in God, the births brought through Jesus Christ, and life in the Holy Spirit. That dragon has seven heads and ten horns, representing his presence on all seven continents of the world with power over the nations of the world. While there are only seven continents, some continents may have two major powers on them, such as Russia and China sharing one continent, thus there are ten major power territories on seven continents. Diadems are crowns that represents sovereignty; thus, the dragon has sovereignty on all seven continents. The dragon is the same dragon mentioned in Revelation 13:2,
When Mary was in labor to give birth to Christ Jesus, the dragon was operating on this earth, with intentions to kill Him.
Satan and his angels seek to kill the infant Jesus who have been cast from heaven and thrown to earth. “His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.” Revelation 12:4
The dragon’s tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to earth, with Satan’s only purpose being to abort the birth of the Christ child. Satan and his angels were cast out of Heaven due to their rebellion, “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9
When Mary was nursing the Christ child, Satan was seeking a way to kill Him, as described in Matthew 2:1-18. Below are excerpts from that passage;
“…in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet…then Herod… sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.” … and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, weeping, and great mourning…weeping for her children, refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” Matthew 2:1-5, 7-8, 16-18.
Stan wants to defeat the births that come through the testimony of Jesus Christ, before they are even born, so that he can exalt himself above God, and even set himself up as God, as quoted, “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.” Isaiah 14:12-15 The story of the battle in Heaven against Lucifer [Satan, the fallen angel] is described in Isaiah 14, specifically in Isaiah 14:12-17.
Today, Satan uses his beast to extinguish Christian births by the power held over physiology to give people what to think, feel, say, and do. The beast crucifies thoughts and feelings within the testimony of Jesus to make it very painful to say and do according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The beast sits within the temple of God, our body, as if is God and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that.
Jesus Christ is the King of kings who ascended into Heaven. “She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.” Revelation 12:5
Mary was successful in bringing birth to our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the Savior of the world and all nations will become His when He returns, “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” Revelations 11:15
Mary’s child, who is Christ Jesus, ascended into Heaven after He sacrificed His life on the Cross to atone for sin, then was resurrected from the grave after three days. “Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9-11
Everyone who is given birth by the testimony of Jesus Christ will be resurrected from the grave and ascend into Heaven to live eternally with Him in the New Jerusalem. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them!” Revelations 12:11-12
Matthew 2:13-23 describes how Mary escaped the plot to kill her child, the Christ child. Below are excerpts from that passage;
“Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way. Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.” When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt, and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”…Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.” Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee. And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.” Matthew 2:12-15, 19-23
The global government chases the source of Christian births into the wilderness.
“Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.” Revelation 12:6
After Mary gave birth to Jesus Christ, she fled into the wilderness where a place was prepared for her by God, where she was fed for about “3 1/2 years”, which is “1260 days” or “42 months”. Literally, that would make Jesus about 3 1/2 years of age before Mary felt safe to appear in public with the newly born Christ child. We know that after fleeing Herod, Mary and Joseph settled in Nazareth where they raised Jesus. Nazareth was an isolated area surrounded by hills, not very accessible by roads, had a very small population, very little water, and limited agriculture. Joseph was a carpenter, which was considered manual labor and very low in social status. Nazareth was considered an awful place to live, as quoted, “Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Joh 1:45-46
The Bible doesn’t record anything about the life of Jesus after His circumcision at eight days old, until He reaches the age of twelve. The passage in Luke 2:21-51 describes that. Mary and Joseph lived in the wilderness, with the Christ child, being fed by the Spirit of God.
For us today, those “1260 days”, or “42 months”, is given a specific meaning; that is how long the beast reigns on this earth, as described in the post on Revelation 13:5-6. “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.” Revelation 13:5-6
The beast that reigns for “1260 days” is the beast that has power over physiology to be able to give people what to say, do, think, and feel. Those who live for the beast dominate in every city around the world. The one beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. By what they are given to say and do, the global culture is groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 The “him” in that verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.
For those “1260 days”, or “42 months”, we who share the testimony of Jesus Christ, to nurture the new births of born-again believers, will be living in the wilderness of the culture of the beast, which is global. We will be isolated from socially interacting with the culture of the beast and will be denied the opportunity to meaningfully interact with other Christians, those who want to know about the Holy Bible, and those who are newly born-again. We will be relegated to living in the “wilderness”, to avoid affliction, persecution, and even death. We will literally be living on the narrow and difficult road that leads to life and avoiding the broad road that leads to destruction, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14 During that time, we are being fed by the presence of the Holy Spirit as we shun the imposition of thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors coming from the beast.
Our Lord Jesus says that a day will come when no one will be able to work to spread His Good News, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5
Satan is cast from Heaven and Christ defeats him on this earth.
The battle in heaven was because Lucifer exalted himself above God. “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,” Revelation 12:7
The dragon is Satan, and before his fall from Heaven, he was known by the name of Lucifer. The battle in Heaven between Lucifer and God is described in Isaiah 14, specifically described in Isaiah 14:12-17. Lucifer rebelled against God by trying to destroy the Christ, whose name is Jesus, to establish himself above God, as quoted, “For you hast said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Isaiah 14:13-14
Satan lost the war in Heaven and loses the same battle here on earth. “…but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:8-9
Satan and His angels did not prevail in their rebellion against God and their intent to overthrow Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Satan and His angels were cast from Heaven and thrown to the earth, and today we are very familiar with His deceptions, “For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 Click for a post on that.
Here on earth, Satan’s plan is still the same, to exalt himself above God and to dominate the heart and mind of people in every city around the world. Jesus has the victory over sin and death by atoning for sin on the Cross and by His resurrection from the dead. Jesus says, “Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19 Satan may have thought He defeated Christ Jesus when He was crucified on the Cross, but that was Satan’s defeat…and the resurrection of Jesus was the final nail in Satan’s eternal coffin.
Christ Jesus saw Satan fall from Heaven, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” Luke 10:18
Satan wants to live through us as if he is God. Satan wants to sit in the temple of God, our body as if is God, as quoted, “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4
That is done through the beast that forms what people think, feel, say, and do which enables the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people in every city around the world. People are conformed to their place in life by what they are given to say and do as they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. The global culture of the beast rebels against God, rejects the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, ridicules the Holy Spirit, and mocks the life of Holiness.
Jesus Christ has made us the temple of the Holy Spirit. Satan and his angels are defeated on this earth through Jesus Christ who makes our body the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” 1 Corinthians 6:19 By the remission of sin, Jesus Christ gives us the Holy Spirit which opposes the beast that wants to live in people by forming what is thought, said, done, and felt. We believe in God, and we acknowledge the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ and embrace the Holy Spirit to establish our walk of Holiness. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
The temple of the Holy Spirit is not compatible with the intruder of thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. The Holy Spirit makes it very clear that we cannot dedicate our inner life to two different sources. Jesus Christ has nothing in common with the beast that wants to rule over the heart and mind, as quoted, “And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:15-16 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.” Matthew 6:24
Jesus Christ has eternal victory over Satan.
Jesus Christ is King of kings and the “accuser” is cast down. “Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.” Revelation 12:10
The power of God’s Christ is the victory He has over Satan who thrives on sin and death. Salvation belongs to Christ Jesus, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 That Salvation is the power and strength over Satan, and is the fruit of the Kingdom of God within us, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…” Ephesians 1:13-14
Everyone living in the Holiness of Jesus Christ knows all about the constant attacks of the “accuser.” Those attacks constantly bombard our thoughts and feelings trying to shame us, belittle us, and make us feel unworthy of living for the Gospel of Christ. On top of that, the “accuser” works through those who allow the image of the beast to live and speak through them. They are empowered with uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition to make us feel shame and embarrassment over our most private and personal moments. The Lord rebukes Satan the accuser, “Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And the Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan!…Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?” Zachariah 3:1-2
We have victory through the blood of the Lamb. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelation 12:11
The “accuser” can point to all of our mistakes and shortcomings all day and all night, but we have the victory by the soul cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” Romans 8:1 We are a stick pulled from the burning fire, and to the “accuser” it is said, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan!” We lift up the word of the testimony of Jesus until our dying breath, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18 With the Apostle Paul, through the Holy Spirit we say, “For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” Acts 21:13
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? ” Matthew 16:24-26
Satan rages against the source giving births to Christianity.
The coming of Jesus Christ is rejoicing for Heaven and brings wrath to this world. “Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea!” Revelation 12:12a.
As followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord considers us to be inhabitants of Heaven, and our names are written in the Book of Life, “He who overcomes will be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” Revelations 3:5 Even before there are any Christians in Heaven, this verse describes the multitudes that are there today, “Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands…” Revelation 5:11
Those who reject Jesus Christ have a terrible day ahead of them. They are those who think they are on the winning team with Satan and His beast, and who boast, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 “Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11 Click for a post on Revelations 14.
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:18-19
Satan knows he has a short time on this earth and is filled with wrath. “For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” Revelation 12:12b.
Satan is on this earth and is like an angry lion roaming around looking for someone to devour. Satan operates through the beast which forms what people think, feel, do, and say as it enables the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do they project the great wrath of Satan against the teachings of the Bible, against belief in God, against the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and against the presence the Holy Spirit. They habitually devour Christianity.
Satan knows he has a short time, and his reign on this earth [through his beast] lasts for “42 months” or “1260 days” on this earth. The beginning and end of his reign on this earth is described in the post on Revelations 13:5-6. “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.” Revelation 13:5.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.” 1 Peter 5:8-10
The source giving births born through Jesus Christ is afflicted, harassed, and eliminated. “Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.” Revelation 12:13
Mary gave birth to our Lord Jesus Christ, and we can envision the persecution that she faced from the Jewish people around her, and particularly from the Pharisees. For starters, for her to be pregnant out of wedlock could be an offense leading to death, which is what Satan wanted. Even Joseph, Mary’s fiancé, thought about “putting her away” into seclusion, “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.” Matthew 1:18-19 With that, as a boy of twelve years of age, Jesus was calling God His Father, which was blasphemy to be considered the Son of God. Jesus said this to Mary, his mother, and everyone else around them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” Luke 2:49 For years, even up to the death of Jesus, Mary was being scrutinized, interrogated, and persecuted over Him.
Today, the “woman” that gives birth to new Christians is everyone who shares the testimony of Jesus Christ. We continue to share belief in God, we acknowledge Jesus as the Christ, Son of God, and our Lord, and we encourage life in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Satan’s purpose on this earth is to extinguish the testimony of Jesus Christ and to afflict, burden, persecute, and kill those who keep the fire of the Holy Spirit alive within us. Today’s culture, which is global, has their hands in carrying out the death of the Gospel of Christ and all of Christianity. They are the anti-Christian global culture who lives by what the beast gives them to do, say, think, and feel. By what they do and say, they intend to kill the births born of Jesus Christ.
“But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.” Revelation 12:14
Mary had protection from the Pharisees, the people of the Jewish culture, and everyone else who held her responsible for giving birth to a man [Christ Jesus] they felt was “evil” and “blasphemous”. That nourishment and protection came from those whose faith was in Jesus Christ. In those times, the parents of children who were thought to be evil and blasphemous were often shunned for having children disobedient to the laws of Judaism. From the verse above, we can envision that Mary lived her life in seclusion, in a wilderness, away from the scrutiny and affliction of mainstream Jewish society. She remained in that “wilderness” for a time and times and half a time, away from the serpent.
We who share the testimony of Jesus is the “woman” who flies away into the “wilderness”, away from the mainstream society of the culture of the beast. The culture of the beast is like a lion seeking for a Christian to prey upon. We will be in the “wilderness” for a time and times and half a time, avoiding the presence of the serpent. That time and times and half a time would include the “42 months”, or “1260 days”, that the beast reigns on this earth. We know the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Global warming is instrumental in bringing the collapse of the power center of the beast and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9.
Floods of the global masses come against the source of Christian births and all Christians. “So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.” Revelation 12:15
We know that the Jewish rulers were responsible for killing eleven of the twelve Apostles, the Apostle John the only one to die a natural death. The Pharisees wanted to rid the world of those who caused faith in Jesus Christ to flourish, and we can envision that Mary, who gave Him birth, was included among those to be extinguished. The flood that was intended to carry Mary away were masses of the unbelieving Jewish culture.
Today, we see the water being spewed out of the serpent’s mouth to be the global culture of the beast, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 By that flood of the world population, in every city around the world, we who share the testimony of Jesus Christ are intended to be carried away into obscurity.
“It was granted to [the beast] to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:7-8
“But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.” Revelation 12:16
Mary had a lot of support from the Jewish people who lived for Jesus Christ, and also from the Believing Gentiles [from all around the “world”]. Mary could have been almost anywhere, never to be found by those who wanted to bring harm to her. In that sense, the earth swallowed up the flood that was seeking to carry Mary away into obscurity.
Somehow, by the grace and mercy of God, those filled with the Holy Spirit and living for Jesus Christ will be helped in a world dominated by the global culture of the beast. While the structure of Christianity is swept away by the anti-Christian floods, the faithful few who hold to the testimony of Jesus will always live on this earth. The birth of those born through Jesus Christ will be nourished and live to the very last horrific days on earth. The Gospel of Christ will continue and the “woman” giving birth to new Christians will live on, in the wilderness of a harsh and cold world.
“And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.’” Revelation 12:17
That verse says it all about how the Pharisees, and the unbelieving Jewish culture, would have felt about Mary, who nourished Christ, raised Him, and supported Him as the Christ and Son of God. They were enraged with her, and made war with the rest of her offspring, which refers to every person whose faith was in Jesus Christ and not the laws of Judaism.
Today, Satan is enraged with every one of us who share the testimony of Jesus Christ and makes war with every birth being given in the name of Jesus Christ. Satan wages war through those of the culture of the beast, who are given what to do, say, think, and feel concerning we who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
