The shameless gather together before the coming of the Lord’s wrath.
“Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O shameless nation, before the decree is issued, or the day passes like chaff, before the Lord’s fierce anger comes upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger comes upon you!” Zephaniah 2:1-2
The shameless nation of today is the global government of the beast and its global culture. They serve the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. They feel no shame in how they have become egocentric in the way they exalt themselves above belief in God. They are shameless in feeling no remorse and no need for the forgiveness of unbelief and for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They are shameless in how they oppose, ridicule, and intend to manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. They are shameless in a world where love has gone cold and they have no empathy for others within their superficial charm.
Today, we already see how the culture of the beast has been gathered together from the very top of global government down to the very grassroots level of the world’s population. “All who dwell on the earth will worship [the beast], whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 Those of the culture of the beast are gathered within the assembly of the United Nations. The UN was established in 1945, immediately after Worls War 2, and brough the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 as well as in Revelations17. With that, people in every city around the world welcomes the image of the beast that is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through them. People around the world embrace the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations. The acceptance of those global goals, by the global population, is ushering in the United Nations as the undisputed one world government of the beast.
The Day of the Lord comes after the culture of the beast has been gathered together, which that gathering has happened. People from city to city across the globe are united in by the beast that gives them what to feel and think about everything and everyone and thus gives people what to say and do to everything and everyone. The decree being issued refers to the Day of the Lord, which is spoken about in Zephaniah 1 and also Zachariah 14. Global warming is already in the world and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. Global warming plays a part in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness of the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. At the time, the government of the beast and its global culture will powerless. That brings the Battle of Armageddon in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-16. Then comes the Day of the Lord! Which is a combination of the Seventh Plague of Revelations 16:17-21 and the Seventh Trumpet of Revelations 11:15-19.
The more powerful the United Nations become as the undisputed one world government, the more intense the effects of global warming becomes.
Part of the Day of the Lord includes this present world system passing away like chaff being blown in the wind. Chaff is what is left over after removing wheat grain from the rest of the plant. Chaff is like the very thin part around a peanut that peels off easily and when caught in the wind is never seen again, as seen in the image directly below. “The nations will rush like the rushing of many waters; But God will rebuke them and they will flee far away, and be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.” Isaiah 17:13 Click for post on Isaiah 17:12-14. “Thus says the Lord of hosts; Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord has gone forth in fury—a violent whirlwind! It will fall violently on the head of the wicked.” Jeremiah 23:19
Meek of the earth are to seek the Lord, uphold His justice, seek righteousness and humility.
“Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.” Zephaniah 2:3
Jesus Christ wants His followers to be meek and humble because meekness and humility separates us from the global culture of the beast. They are very boastful as in their attitude and spirit they boast, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:4 The beast they follow is described like this, “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.” Revelation 13:5-6
“But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.” 2 Corinthians 10:17-18
The global culture of the beast can be described as riding on a powerful stallion, but Jesus Christ comes meekly and humbly riding on a donkey, as quoted, “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9 As His followers, we are to live in the Spirit of humbleness and meekness as a sheep. As sheep, we hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, not the voice of boastful superiority, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:27-28 As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to impart His Spirit of life, Salvation, mercy, and grace.
On the Day of the Lord, the meek and humble, who hide in our Lord Jesus Christ, will be spared the eternal punishment which comes to those who exert a boastful superiority as the culture of the beast.

We are to seek righteousness. Righteousness is easily understood by what our Lord Jesus says it is not, “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20 The righteousness of the Pharisees was all about exterior appearance, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.” Matthew 23:27 Our righteousness comes from within our heart, soul, and mind through the Spirit of Christ, “…being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God...even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Philippians 1:11, Romans 3:22-23
We are to uphold His justice. How do we uphold the justice of our Lord? By sharing our born-again experience which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is written on our heart. The justice of God comes through Jesus Christ, as quoted, “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 Jesus says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19
The Lord’s wrath comes against the enemies of Israel who are also His enemies.
“For Gaza will be forsaken, and Ashkelon desolate; They will drive out Ashdod at noonday, and Ekron will be uprooted. Woe to the inhabitants of the seacoast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of the Lord is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: “I will destroy you; So there will be no inhabitant.” Zephaniah 2:4-5
The territory of Gaza in Zephaniah’s day is just about the same location as where the Gaza Strip is today. That can be seen on the image below within the land of Philistia, which was known as the land of the Philistines. The Philistines were enemies of Israel, much like those of the Gaza Strip today. Ashkelon and Ashdod were coastal cities along the Mediterranean Sea and were major hubs for trade and military activity. They too were the enemies of Israel. The Cherethites and Canaan were bonded with the Philistines…also enemies of Israel.
What do the enemies of Israel have in common? They will be forsaken, made desolate, driven out at high noon, and be uprooted. The Lord is against them and will destroy them so that they will no longer have an existence on this earth. That will happen during the Battle of Armageddon, and that is also when a remnant of the Jewish people will acknowledge Jesus as the Christ and their Lord. That is described in the post on “The day after the Battle of Armageddon” from Ezekiel 39.
We have to realize that those who come against the Jewish people in this world do not believe in God, they have no desire to give any honor to Jesus Christ at all, and they oppose the presence of the Holy Spirit in their life. They serve the power of darkness and for that reason alone God will destroy them. By that, we can see how the enemies of Israel are the enemies of God. The enemies of God will not only be destroyed in the Battle of Armageddon, but on the day of judgment, they will be forsaken and destroyed in eternal Hell. The Lord uses the wicked of this world as an instrument in His hand to bring the wrath of His judgment to Israel. The Lord gathered the Jewish people to the land of Israel in 1948 as the place where He unleashes His judgment on them, as escribed in Ezekiel 22:19-21. The Lord’s wrath is against unbelief, against the rejection of His Son, and against those who are hardened against the Holy Spirit.
“…the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.” Job 28:28
“The seacoast will be pastures, with shelters for shepherds and folds for flocks. The coast will be for the remnant of the house of Judah; They will feed their flocks there; In the houses of Ashkelon they will lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will visit them, and return their captives.” Zephaniah 2:6-7
All of the places described in the section directly above will no longer be a thriving hub of economic, social, and military power. Those places will be made desolate, like the government of the beast and its global culture will suffer economic collapse and social lawlessness. The power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11, which leads to the destruction of this present world system. “You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelations 16:5-6
All of those cities mentioned in the section directly above would no longer have social and economic power but would be cities of pastures. The same as this present earth will be desolated in order to give the green pastures of the eternal New Jerusalem to all who believe in Jesus Christ. Instead of a world system that is a shelter to those who live for the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel, our eternal home is a shelter for everyone who shepherds others into the way of Christ and for the flock of His sheep that hear His voice, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life…” John 10:27-28
The remnant of the house of Judah is not only speaking of the Jewish people but also each person who is born again through Jesus Christ. By earthly terms, He is from the tribe of Judah, and we are of His house when we “…are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
To lie down in the houses of Ashkelon at evening refers to having no more fear over a culture of people that habitually persecutes and afflicts anyone who lives for God through Jesus Christ. We will live in an eternal city where “…the glory of God illuminates it. The Lamb is its light…And God will wipe away every tear from [our] eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”” Revelations 21:23, Revelations 21:4
We will be freed from captivity to this sin-plagued world as we are returned to our home where God wants us to be, our eternal home of the New Jerusalem. For the Lord our God will visit us and return the captives.
Destruction comes against the enemy of the Lord like what came to Sodom and Gomorrah.
“I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the insults of the people of Ammon, with which they have reproached My people, and made arrogant threats against their borders.” Zephaniah 2:8
Moab and Ammon can be seen on the map in the section directly above. As you can see, between Gaza, Ammon, and Moab, the people of God were surrounded on all sides. If you feel like you are surrounded by people who are unfriendly towards you because of your faith in Jesus Christ, then you are a child of God through Jesus Christ. As our Lord Jesus says, “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.” John 15:20
The reproach and insults hurled from the people of Moab and Ammon were verbal and physical. It included mockery, despise, hostile actions, taunts, slander, and threats. The reproach and insults sabotaged the dignity, respect, and security of the people of God. That is exactly what is happening to us, coming from the culture of the beast. They live by the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to say and do. They want to sabotage our faith by attacking our sense of self-worth and attacking our security. Jesus Christ says to us, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12
Arrogant threats come from people who exalt themselves above belief in God and in their superior opinion of themselves engage in intimidation and threats. Jesus says, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28
“Wisdom is better than strength. Nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard. Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard rather than the shout of a ruler of fools.” Ecclesiastes 9:16-17
“Therefore, as I live,” Says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Surely Moab will be like Sodom, and the people of Ammon like Gomorrah—overrun with weeds and saltpits, and a permanent ruin.” Zephaniah 2:9a
Sodom and Gomorrah are linked together in the Bible because both cities were in the plain of the Jordan valley, and both cities were equally the subject of the wrath of God’s judgment. They were both alike in making homosexuality a way of life.
What was Sodom like and why was homosexuality a central part of their culture? The word of God says they were using homosexuality to come against people who preached against their lifestyle. The Sodomites were forcing homosexuality upon anybody who wanted to live by the word of God. They wanted to have homosexual intercourse with two angels that were preaching against them. The people of Sodom came to Lot’s house, where the angels were staying and said to Lot, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” Genesis 19:9 The whole city of Sodom came to Lot’s house to force homosexual intercourse with the angels, “Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house. And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.” Genesis 19:4-5
The Lord said that Moab and Ammon would be like Sodom and Gomorrah, overrun with weeds and salt pits to be made a permanent ruin. Spiritual weeds are lifestyles against the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and spiritual salt pits are places where nothing can grow that blossoms with belief in God the Creator to bring the born-again experience through Jesus Christ. It’s a culture that becomes “…a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2
We live in a world today where homosexuality has grown to astounding numbers in cities around the world. There isn’t a city in the world that hasn’t felt their community being changed by the presence of the LGBQT lifestyles. To preach against homosexuality stirs up the wrath of the whole city. Verbal insults are hurled against Christianity and many aggressive acts against anyone who calls the lifestyles of the LGBQT community a sin. Righteousness is being corrupted by forcing people to accept homosexuality as a way of life. The beast that has power over physiology gives people what to feel, even making homosexual feelings desirable. The beast is the cause of the rise in the LGBQT community. In the corruption of the spirit, the image of the beast is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, they condemn the way of Christ and embrace sin. The culture of the beast, which is global, is becoming overrun with weeds and saltpits, and will be made a permanent ruin.

“…and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— the Lord knows how to deliver the Godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.” 2 Peter 2:6-11
“The residue of My people will plunder them, and the remnant of My people will possess them.” This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and made arrogant threats against the people of the Lord of hosts.” Zephaniah 2:9b-10
The people of Israel have victory over their enemies as described in the post on “The day after the battle of Armageddon” from Ezekiel 39. At that time, the Jewish people are just a residue of what they have ever been on the earth, yet they will plunder their enemies, “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years.” Ezekiel 39:9
That day will be the pride of Israel as they will have their retribution upon those who reproached and made arrogant threats against them as the people of the Lord of hosts. That will also be the day when a residue of the Jewish people acknowledge Jesus as their Savior and Lord, the Christ and Son of God.
“Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.” Micah 7:8
Our Lord Jesus says to each one of us whose faith is in Him, “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:20-22
The false god empowering the global government of the beast will be reduced to nothing.
“The Lord will be awesome to them, for He will reduce to nothing all the gods of the earth; People will worship Him, each one from his place, indeed all the shores of the nations.” Zephaniah 2:11
The day is coming when all the gods of this earth will be reduced to nothing. Anything that people place into their life that is made more important than belief in Jesus Christ will be reduced to nothing. Everything in this world will pass away because eternity is found only in Jesus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24
The god that everyone serves in this world nowadays is of the power of darkness and is the beast that has power over physiology to give them what to say, do, think, and feel, “…whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8. It will be reduced to nothing. The power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. People will know their vulnerability in that day because they will no longer have uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others etc. They will be plunged into a world of enormous turbulence, as Jesus says, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever will be.” Matthew 24:21
“Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelations 7:10
The Lord is awesome because He destroys this world system for all of us who believe in Him, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they will become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9
When our Lord Jesus came the first time, He gave His life on the Cross in the final sacrifice to atone for sin. After three days, He was resurrected from the grave, and a great Light began to shine in the darkness of this sin-plagued world. Today, His Gospel has reached all seven continents of the world and each person who worships Him does so from their own place. That place is from within the heart and mind. In the eternal New Jerusalem, we will worship Him as a united congregation with one voice, “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who will not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations will come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested.” Revelations 15:3-4
The global culture following the false god will be destroyed.
“You Ethiopians also, you will be slain by My sword.” And He will stretch out His hand against the north, destroy Assyria, and make Nineveh a desolation, as dry as the wilderness.” Zephaniah 2:12-13
During the time of the prophecy of Zephaniah, the Ethiopians were a major kingdom who fought back-and-forth with the Assyrians. The Israelites were caught in the middle of all the fighting and were put into a position to choose which military power they would submit to. Serving the Living God was never given as an option by the military powers. Our Lord is against violence and war and calls us to peace, “God has called us to peace.” 1 Corinthians 7:15 The Lord promises that the forces of this world that rely on power and might, instead of on the Holy Spirit, will be slain by His sword, not ours, and they will be destroyed and made a desolation, as dry as the desert.
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah57:7
What relationship does Nineveh have with Assyria? Nineveh was the capital of Assyria and is the place where the king of Assyria fled to for refuge after the plague [sent by God] killed 185,000 of his soldiers, “Then the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses—all dead. So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home, and remained at Nineveh.” Isaiah 37:36-37 Click for post on Isaiah 37:36-38.
If Nineveh sounds familiar, that is the city where the Lord sent Jonah to preach, Jonah 1:1. About 100 to 150 years after the people of Ninevah repented of their sin against God, the book of Nahum was written, which describes a prophecy against Nineveh, “The burden against Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.” Nahum 1:1 Somewhere between the book of Jonah and Nahum, the people of Nineveh turned away from the Lord.
The Lord wants us to embrace His mercy, grace, Salvation and life and to receive the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 How can we know if we have the Holy Spirit? If we do not speak against Jesus and say that He is Lord then we have the Holy Spirit, “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3
“The herds will lie down in her midst, every beast of the nation. Both the pelican and the bittern will lodge on the capitals of her pillars; Their voice will sing in the windows; Desolation will be at the threshold; For He will lay bare the cedar work.” Zephaniah 2:14
When a herd lies down, that is a signal that they have no fear of predators, including human beings who will not be around. For a herd to be able to lie down within a city draws an image of just how desolate that city would be. Envision a major city bustling with traffic, festivals, buildings, etc., then compare that to a place completely tore down that it becomes a place where herds feel comfortable to lay down in! Not just herds, but every beast of the nation! That is what will happen to this present world system and its global culture in the Day of the Lord.
The pelican and bittern were both birds that lived in marshes. Those marshes represent the corruption and pollution of the Waters of Life, given to us through Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have victory within the boggy “mire of the streets”, as described in the post on Zachariah 10:5a. The pelican and bitterns lodge on the capitals of the nation’s pillars. The pillars are what holds a nation up and the capitals are the top of the pillars that the roof etc. sets on. For the pelicans and bitterns to lodge on those capitals means that they are resting on top of the pillars of a ruined city. In the Day of the Lord, that is what the global “city” of the government of the beast will look like!
What is described directly above is mirroring what the Spirit of Lord speaks when it is written, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2 Their voices will sing in the windows, desolation will be at door, the cedar work will be laid bare, meaning the ornamental paneling, beams, and architectural details will be in total ruin.
In the images directly below; The herds and every beast of the nation setting in a desolated city is seen to the bottom left. The ruined pillars and the capitals are seen to the far right. The bitterns [to the far left] and pelicans [in the middle] sit on top of those ruined pillars. That is an image of what this present world system will look like on the Day of the Lord.
“This is the rejoicing city that dwelt securely, that said in her heart, “I am it, and there is none besides me.” How has she become a desolation, a place for beasts to lie down! Everyone who passes by her will hiss and shake his fist.” Zephaniah 2:15
Today, those who live for the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel rejoice in their global dominion. They feel safe and secure as they boast in their attitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 They will be hearing a different tune to the singing when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. People will know their vulnerability in that day because they will no longer have uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others etc. They will be plunged into a world of enormous turbulence, as Jesus says, “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever will be.” Matthew 24:21
“Everyone who passes by her will hiss and shake his fist” refers to the lawlessness, violence, social and economic collapse coming to the government of the beast and its global culture.
“Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you will no longer be called ‘The Lady of Kingdoms’…And you said, ‘I will be a lady forever,’ so that you did not take these things to heart, nor remember the latter end of them.” Isaiah 47:5, 7
“In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.” Revelations 18:7-8
