The Lord will break Israel into pieces like a clay piece of pottery, with no usable fragments remaining.

Isaiah 30:12-14

“Therefore thus says the Holy One of Israel: “Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perversity, and rely on them…” Isaiah 30:12

The Israelites, of the kingdom of Judah, turned away from the word of God and put their trust in the military power of a foreign nation, as described in the post on Isaiah 30:1-5. Military power always came with oppressing the people who were conquered, as well as perverting the word of God. “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 The word of God was perverted by corrupting the Ten Commandments, and by turning away from the animal sacrifices that were established to atone for sin.

Today, the Jewish people around the world, and highlighted by the world spotlight shining on the State of Israel, have despised the word of God. They trust in the military and political power of the United States instead of relying on God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. In doing so, the testimony of Jesus Christ is oppressed, and perversion arises in every form. The Israelis have the most liberal abortion rights laws in the world; they embrace the promotion of the LGBQT lifestyles and have been in 19 wars since established as the State of Israel in 1948. Click for a list of those wars.

The global government of the beast and its global culture despises the word of God. They do not believe in God the Creator, they reject the need for Jesus Christ, and do not want the presence of the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are. They trust in oppression by serving the beast that commandeers control over physiology and gives people what they are to say, do, think, and feel. They trust in perversion in the sense that they think of themselves as being Godly, but think that life in the Holy Spirit is nonsense, “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy 3:5 The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, they are conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

“Therefore this iniquity will be to you like a breach ready to fall, a bulge in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly, in an instant.” Isaiah 30:13

The iniquity of Israel, described above, is compared to a breach ready to fall and a bulge in a high wall whose breaking comes suddenly. In the image below, the picture to the left is a breach in the wall, and to the right is a bulge in the wall. Walls kept the enemy out, but a breach or bulge in the wall would make it very easy for the enemy to break through and overtake a city.

As followers of Jesus Christ, a breach is when we allow bits of unbelief to creep into our devotion to God, cracks that cause us to question the necessity of Jesus Christ, and cracks that slowly exclude the Holy Spirit from our life. Those cracks begin to be a bulge within our heart and mind, leaving very little room for God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. We become a spiritual house ready to fall, whose complete breaking comes suddenly.

“And He will break it like the breaking of the potter’s vessel, which is broken in pieces; He will not spare. So there will not be found among its fragments a shard to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the cistern.” Isaiah 30:14

The Lord will break Israel like when breaking clay pottery into many fragments, without sparing any part. Not one fragment will be left of Israel that will be usable for any practical purpose. Clay pottery was used to carry fire from the hearth, and not one fragment of Israel will be usable to rekindle the fire of her identity as a Jewish culture or as the Sate of Israel. Not one piece of the fragments of Israel will be usable to “…take water from the cistern.”, meaning she will never be able to drink from the well of better days. As the Lord says about the Jewish people, “Lately My people have risen up as an enemy—” Micah 2:8

The Jewish people have become hardened against the Holy Spirit and are not able to take the fire of the Holy Spirit into their life and are not able drink the Water of Life, and Jesus Christ is that Water of Life.

In Ezekiel, the Spirit of the Lord portrays Jerusalem/Israel on a clay tablet. Clay tablets were broken easily, and Jerusalem would be broken in pieces, as described in the post on Ezekiel 4. “You also, son of man, take a clay tablet and lay it before you, and portray on it a city, Jerusalem. Lay siege against it, build a siege wall against it, and heap up a mound against it; set camps against it also, and place battering rams against it all around.” Ezekiel 4:1-2

Christ Jesus says to the Jewish people, “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you will see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:38-39. The post on Ezekiel 39 describes the destruction of Israel in the day after the Battle of Armageddon.

A glimpse of what it will be like for the Jewish people around the world [and all unbelievers], and the Israelis of the State of Israel, is seen in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 9:1-6. That is a time when forces will be unleashed on everyone who does not have the seal of God on their forehead, as quoted, “They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. ” Revelations 9:4-5a The Jewish people, and every unbeliever, will not have that seal because they reject Jesus as the Christ and Son of God. They will be tormented to the point that they will beg for death, but it will not come, as quoted, “Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.” Revelations 9:5b-6

The destruction of this present world system also fits the description given of the destruction of Israel. They will be totally broken and fragmented, not being able to rebuild nor to relive the “glory” days. The Holy Spirit places the Jewish people and those of this world in the same category in their crucifixion of Christ Jesus, as quoted, “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done.” Acts 4:27-28

This global government of the beast and its global culture are fragmented into useless pieces through the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations chapters 8 and 9, during the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. Global warming is in the world today and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. It plays a role in the destruction of the power center of the beast in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That leaves the global government and its global culture powerless, which leads to the Battle of Armageddon in Revelations 16:12-16. Our Lord Jesus returns after that when the Seventh Trumpet sounds in Revelations 11:15-19, corresponding with the Seventh Plague of Revelations 16:17-21 Click for a post on the day of the Lord from Zachariah 14.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
