Israel and the West Bank. God removes His protection from the State of Israel.

“He removed the covering of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest…” Isaiah 22:8

For the covering of Judah to be removed means that Judah would be unprotected, and that covering was removed by God. At that time, the Israelites of Judah looked to the armor that was in the House of the Forest for their defense, instead of relying on the Lord, who says, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6

The “House of the Forest” was built by king Solomon, as quoted, “But Solomon took thirteen years to build his own house; so he finished all his house. He also built the House of the Forest of Lebanon…” 1 Kings 7:1-2 Among other purposes, it served as a storage place for shields, as quoted, “He also made three hundred shields of hammered gold; three minas of gold went into each shield. The king put them in the House of the Forest of Lebanon.” 1 Kings 10:17

Jerusalem was the capital of Judah, and today is the capital of the State of Israel. The covering, or protection, has been removed from the State of Israel by the Lord. The Jewish people, all who wanted a nation of their own, were gathered to Israel in 1948 and is the place where the Lord unleashes His judgment on them, as quoted, “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you. Yes, I will gather you and blow on you with the fire of My wrath, and you will be melted in its midst. As silver is melted in the midst of a furnace, so will you be melted in its midst; then you will know that I, the Lord, have poured out My fury on you.’” Ezekiel 22:19-22

As our Lord Jesus says to the Jewish people, “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you will see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:38-39

What is the response of the governors of Israel to the Lord’s judgment against them? They look “ to the armor of the House of the Forest.” That is to say, they look to the “Iron Dome” and their military power and might to shield and defend them, instead of coming to God, through Jesus the Christ, and living in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Israelis have been in 19 wars since 1948, the very year that Israel was declared to be the newly formed State of Israel. Click for a list of those wars.

“You also saw the breaches in the city walls to the city of David, that it was great; And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.” Isaiah 22:9

The “City of David” is Jerusalem, and the breaches to the walls of Jerusalem is obvious to see within the State of Israel of today. Today, Jerusalem is divided between West Jerusalem and East Jerusalem. West Jerusalem is within the State of Israel but East Jerusalem is part of the West Bank.

All we have to do to see the breaches in the walls of the State of Israel is to look at the formation of the West Bank within the borders of the State of Israel. That is seen on the map below. The plan of the United Nations, from where the government of the beast operates, is to create two states within the borders of Israel. The West Bank, along with the Gaza Strip, would be declared as the Palestinian State, like when Israel was declared a state in 1948. The rest of what is left of Israel would be the State of Israel. That is known as the “Two State Solution”, as planned by the United Nations. In 1945, immediately after World War 2, the United Nations was established and brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14.

What was the purpose of “gathering together the waters”? That is the same as building a dam so that all the waters “gather” in one place and are prevented from flowing beyond specific boundaries. The king of Judah had this done to cut off any water from flowing to the enemies that were coming to conquer Judah. Today, that is like the government of the State of Israel cutting off the “waters” to prevent giving life to the growth of the Palestinian people within the borders of Israel. That is to cut off the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and any flow relating to Iran, Lebanon, etc. The government of Israel is attempting to retain their sovereignty and to resist the implementation of the “Two State Solution”.

The State of Israel is making every precaution to defend itself, except for coming to God, in the name of Jesus Christ, to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you will see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:38-39

“You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses you broke down to fortify the wall.” Isaiah 22:10

The king of Judah had an inventory done to determine which houses of Jerusalem, and how many, could be used to fortify the wall. As many houses as possible were used to reinforce the wall around Jerusalem. Those homes were broken down into parts and then the pieces used to add to the existing wall. The remaining houses would be for the people to live in.

Today, the State of Israel is doing just that. They are numbering the houses within the West Bank, breaking down the homes of illegal Palestinian settlers, and all to fortify the wall of Israeli sovereignty.

They should be building their sovereignty on the Rock, who is Jesus Christ, instead of building on the sand of rejection of Jesus Christ, “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.“ But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

“You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago.” Isaiah 22:11

The king of Judah had a reservoir of water built between the two walls for the old pool. That is like those of the State of Israel storing up all the “waters” of their “old” sovereignty between the walls of Israelis and the Palestinians. The governors of Israel have no intention of surrendering to the new “waters” of a Palestinian State within the borders of Israel.

The word of the Lord is being spoken to the Israelis, “But you did not look to its Maker, nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago.” Isaiah 22:11 Today, the Jewish people refuse to look to their Maker, who says that He sent His Son Jesus as the Christ and Savior. Israel was fashioned long ago, and as seen on the map below, the territory of Israel hasn’t changed much since the days back then,

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
