“Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily,
therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged,
yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.
But it will not be well with the wicked; nor will he prolong his days,
which are as a shadow, because he does not fear before God.”

“Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, who dwell securely, who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I will not sit as a widow, nor will I know the loss of children’;” Isaiah 47:8

From the previous posts on Isaiah 47:1-4 and also Isaiah 47:5-7 we know who were given to pleasures and lived securely. They were those of the culture of the Babylonian Empire. Today, those who are given to pleasures and live in security are those of the culture of the beast. The beast has power over physiology and is able to give people comfort in the world, to keep them pleased, while giving a sense of security within a unified “family” culture. The beast, through the power of darkness, simplifies life in this world by giving people what to say, do, think, and feel. The Babylonians felt invincible and impregnable as if they stood alone in the world and no harm would come to their culture within the Babylonian Empire. Today, those of the culture of the beast are those who boast in their attitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war with him?” Revelations 13:4

Behavior modification is a process of pleasing people, making their life pleasurable and secure when people live by desired behaviors. In contrast, when people do not live by the desired behaviors, their life is anything but pleasing to social expectations as pleasure and comfort are withheld. In other words, the behavior of people is being modified by positive feedback for desired behaviors and negative feedback for unwanted behaviors. What is people’s behavior being modified to? To live by the image of the beast that is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through people. The beast is able to give people what to say, do, think, and feel and they are expected to live accordingly. People are conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

All the world, except we who live for God through Jesus Christ, have chosen the beast in order to have social approval, to have a life pleasing and pleasurable. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8

Our Lord Jesus says, “I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?” John 5:41-44

“But these two things will come to you in a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They will come upon you in their fullness because of the multitude of your sorceries, for the great abundance of your enchantments.” Isaiah 47:9

Today’s culture enjoys the pleasures and security of living by the power of darkness through the beast that gives them what to do, say, think, and feel, but sudden destruction is coming to them, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, merrying, and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be…For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:36-39, 27 Click for posts on Matthew 24.

Two things are going to happen when the Lord begins to bring destruction to this present world system, even before His return.

1] The first thing that will happen is the loss of children, which is the loss of the culture of the beast, which is global. That happens when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. At that time, the beast will no longer have control over people through physiology…people will no longer belong to the beast as its “children”. All around the world, people will lose their uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others etc.

2] The second thing that happens is the “widowhood” of the government of the beast. No longer will the global government of the beast be able to marry itself to the physiology of people through their thoughts and feelings. Instead, the beast will experience a broken home, a contested divorce and death of its spouse, and permanently affected children. The children will be driven by rebellion as they come from a broken hand. In other words, at the death of the power center of the beast, there will arise worldwide chaos, lawlessness, violence, social and economic collapse. Being driven to widowhood will give rise to the Battle of Armageddon, as described in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-16

Those two things, the loss of children and widowhood, comes because of the multitudes of sorceries and the great abundance of enchantments. Sorceries and enchantments amount to not receiving the truth of the word of God and relying on practices that create strong delusion. Which describes the beast that creates sorceries and enchantments to create strong delusions by its power over physiology. People are led to believe a lie that God is not the Living Creator, that there is no need for the forgiveness of unbelief through Jesus Christ, and that we are not created to live in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

Global warming is instrumental in bringing the collapse of the power center of the beast and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9.

When Christ Jesus returns, and everyone resurrected, then the end comes, “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all will be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.” 1 Corinthians 15:20-24
