What is “edgeconnex“? it is data center that will be built in Ashville, here in Pickaway County, just a few miles from where I live here in Circleville. There is a huge, huge controversy of how it is being allowed to be built, as described in this post.
This post will begin with a comment made by one of the local residents, as read directly below,
What does that mean? There was so much resistance from local residents against the datacenter being built in Ashville that the issue was forced upon the ballot in the upcoming elections of November 2026. Residents would be able to block the datacenter from being built. As of October 8, 2026, the city council has already accepted $3.5 million dollars in agreement to allow the building of the data center to begin. Putting the issue of the datacenter on the ballot in November was even approved by the Ohio Supreme Court. Apparently, to the city council and the executives of “edgeconnex” those rulings do not matter. As quoted directly below,
“The move comes after months of legal wrangling between village officials and a group of local citizens. On April 6, 2026, village council originally passed Resolution 06-2026, approving a Development and Supply Agreement Term Summary with EdgeConneX, Inc. In response, residents gathered 875 signatures on a referendum petition to put the deal to a public vote on the November 3, 2026, ballot…The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the residents, ordering the fiscal officer to certify the petition. Following the ruling, the Board of Elections scheduled the referendum for the upcoming November ballot during an August 24 meeting. Click here for full article.
What we are seeing is a government and business relationship that puts datacenters above what is within the hearts of the people. The growth of datacenters has bloomed rapidly across the nation and in Ohio alone, as of late 2026, there are about 80 operating data centers, with over 180 additional projects planned or under construction.
Why is the content of the heart of the people important? Because as followers of Jesus Christ, we live according to the presence of the Holy Spirit who lives within us. We are living in times when the presence of the Holy Spirit is scorned within the population of the people. With that, the Holy Spirit is scorned within the hearts of government lawmakers and executives of datacenter companies who make decisions for the direction of cities, states, and nations. They detest Jesus Christ who gave His life on the Cross to atone for sin in order to give us the Holy Spirit.
We live in a world where government and business leaders ignore the human spirit in order to govern by the beast that gives them what to do, say, think, and feel. The beast sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that. “All who dwell on the earth worships him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8
Why are datacenters so important for creating the world system of the beast? Data centers allow for the massive collection of data, like never before seen. Specifically relating to buying and selling, grocery stores are already using robotic inventory control. All of the information of what consumers are buying and selling can go directly to data centers. With that, farming is becoming hugely centralized with local farming become less and less. All of the agricultural supply availability can be sent to data centers, including dairy, meat, eggs, and all else. With the inventory data and farming data being combined by datacenters, the supply can be balanced with the consumption practices of consumers. However, what is made available to consumers will be according to what government authority decides is the proper amount to supply. In other words, supply will determine what and how much people can consume. In other words, people will be living by scarcity of resources due to the conservation practices of government policies. That is the goal of the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations, to curb consumption by controlling the production of supplies.

The data centers will also store information on the digital currency. Through the digital currency, each person’s consumption will be monitored and supplied according to the amount authorized of any given resource. Today, in the United States of America, the “GENIUS Act” has been passed into law to make America the “crypto-capital of the world”. Nations around the world are doing the same. We are very near, and seeing it coming into place today where it is written, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelations 13:16-17 Click for a post on the mark, name, number of the beast from Revelations 13:16-17
Some people speak of a computer chip being implanted somewhere on a person as if it is the mark of the beast. They speak of the mark of the beast as if it is merely a tool for scanning information into datacenters. However, the mark of the beast is more diabolical than just being a scanning device. The mark of the beast is something that turns the heart of people to oppose God in what they say and do, compels them to reject Jesus Christ, and coerces them to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. We can envision that the fingerprint of each person will be used to scan information into datacenters. There is nothing more individualized than a fingerprint. Already, people are scanning their fingerprint onto their cell phones and fingerprints are used to unlock screens and every other type of device.
The presence of the beast is already in the world and is in its early stages. The beast has power over physiology to give people what to say, do, think, and feel. The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what people are given to say and do they are being conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast.
We are overcomers through the blood that Jesus shed on the Cross, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Revelations 12:11
