Lord returns from afar, with the wrath of His indignation, within a spiritually futile world.

Isaiah 30:27-28

“Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar…” Isaiah 30:27a

We know that the name of the Lord is Jesus, who is the Christ and Son of God. He is coming from afar to return as the King of kings.

He is coming from afar, and I envision that to be the “third Heaven” that Paul refers to in this verse, “…such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows— how he was caught up into Paradise…” 2 Corinthians 12:2-4 I envision the first heaven to be the blue skies we see every day. Above that is the second heaven where the stars and planets exist. Above that is the third heaven where the place of God is, Paradise.

I also envision Christ Jesus coming from afar in the sense that this world has removed Him far away from them. The Day of the Lord is coming from that far place, and He is coming again as the King of kings.

“Burning with His anger, and His burden is heavy; His lips are full of indignation, and His tongue like a devouring fire. His breath is like an overflowing stream, which reaches up to the neck…” Isaiah 30:27b-28a

The Lord returns with a burning anger, which is His burning wrath of Holiness against a world that opposes the presence of the Holy Spirit, rejects the acknowledgement of sin and sees no need for forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and has no belief in God the Creator.

His burden is heavy to see the affliction, persecution, and killing of we who live for Jesus Christ. “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they will become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9

His lips are full of indignation towards this spiritually corrupt world, and His words of indignation can be read all through the Holy Bible. His tongue is like a devouring fire upon those who reject Jesus Christ and do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are.

His breath is an overflowing stream that reaches up to the neck of this world. That happens when the world is up to the neck with the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11, the events of the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the events of the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. I envision that the head is not covered because the Lord will always give the opportunity to reconcile to Him through Jesus Christ, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 10:10-11

“To sift the nations with the sieve of futility; And there will be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.” Isaiah 30:28b

The purpose of His burning anger, indignation, and burning tongue of fire, is to sieve the nations. That sieving is like someone sieving for gold, as seen in the image below. The prospect of finding gold is very slim, almost futile. Even so, the Lord will continue to sieve the population of the world, seeking for that one person who will return to Him, through Jesus Christ, and to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Upon the return of Jesus Christ, sieving the unbelieving world is futile, and the Lord calls it the sieve of futility.

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

There is a bridle in the jaws of the people causing them to err. A bridle is placed in a horse’s mouth to guide and control. Today, the population of the world is being guided and controlled by the beast, except we who live for Jesus Christ, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.: Revelations 13:8

The beast guides and controls the population of the world by giving them what to say do, think, and feel. The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. The beast causes people to err by guiding them away from belief in God the Creator, away from acknowledging Jesus as the Christ, Son of God, and Lord of our lives, and guides people away from the presence of the Holy Spirit.
