“And it will come to pass in that day that the Lord will thresh, from the channel of the River to the Brook of Egypt; And you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.” Isaiah 27:12
“In that day” refers to when the Lord will have no mercy on Israel, as described in Isaiah 27:7-11. For the Lord to “thresh” is to separate the wheat from the chaff, which is to separate those who reject Jesus Christ from those who believe in Him. Israel is described as an enemy of the Lord since they reject Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, as quoted, “Lately My people have risen up as an enemy—” Micah 2:8 Speaking of Israel, “Therefore the Lord says, the Lord of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel, “Ah, I will rid Myself of My adversaries, and take vengeance on My enemies. I will turn My hand against you…” Isaiah 1:24-25 “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:12
The River refers to the Euphrates and the Brook of Egypt is in the area of the Sinai Peninsula of today. On the map below, in the middle of the image, the Euphrates River is seen [look for the red circle inside the black circle to locate the Euphrates. The Sinai Peninsula, where the Brook of Egypt is, is located towards the southwest of the image [red circle inside the black circle]. The Lord brings the wrath of His judgment to all the area from the Euphrates to the border of Egypt. That is basically the entire Middle East region.
The “threshing” of the Lord from the Euphrates to the border of Egypt is describing the Battle of Armageddon, as quoted, “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared…the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty…And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.” Revelations 16:12. 14, 16
As quoted above, the Battle of Armageddon [Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-17] is a global battle, involving all the nations of the world. The Battle of Armageddon happens after the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Global warming, of the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9, is instrumental in bringing the collapse of the power center of the beast.
Who of Israel is being gathered “0ne-by-one” in the time of their total devastation? They are the remnant who come to accept Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, as described in the post on the “Day After” from Ezekiel 39. “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you will see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” Matthew 23:38-39
“Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. God is the Lord, and He has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I will praise You; You are my God, I will exalt You. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalms 118:25-29

“So it will be in that day: The great trumpet will be blown; they will come, who are about to perish in the land of Assyria, and they who are outcasts in the land of Egypt, and will worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.” Isaiah 27:13
The great trumpet that blows, after the Battle of Armageddon, is the Seventh Trumpet that sounds the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Seventh Trumpet is of Revelations 11:15-19. “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” Revelation 11:15
At the return of the Christ, whose name is Jesus, they will come. “They” refers to the remnant of Israel, who comes to Christ after the Battle of Armageddon. They were those who were about to perish in the devastation of the land of Israel, and the slaughter of most of the Jewish people. The land of Assyria and Egypt symbolize a land very hostile and oppressive to Israel and the Jewish people as a whole.
Today, we know the land of Assyria and Egypt to be the global government of the beast and its global culture. They detest anyone who believes in God, anyone who acknowledges Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, and anyone who lives in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The beast gives the people of the global culture what to speak, do, think, and feel. The one beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they say and do, the global culture is groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.
The Holy mount at Jerusalem is Mount Zion, where the remnant of the Jewish people will serve the Lord. Mount Zion is the eternal New Jerusalem, as quoted, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant…” Hebrews 12:22-24
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
