The earth mourns and fades away.

“The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish.” Isaiah 24:4

The earth is definitely mourning nowadays with the heat of global warming beating down upon it, not to mention the strong winds that are blowing on almost a daily basis. Those events are described in the post on Isaiah 24:1-3. The skies are not healthy, the oceans and fresh water supplies are not healthy, and the earth itself is not healthy. The United Nations agree with all of that, except they do not want to hear anything about Bible prophecy. They are atheists who reject God as the Creator, discard the need for Jesus Christ, and do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of they are. The Christ, whose name is Jesus, says this, “He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.” Matthew 16:2-3 The world languishes and fades away.

The haughty people of the earth languishes. The haughty people of the earth are the population of the global culture. They exalt the life they have in the beast above the need to live for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. They boast within their attitude, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 The beast has power over physiology to give people of the world what to speak, do, think, and feel. By doing that, the beast sets itself up as God, within the temple of God [our body] as if it is God, and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Click here for a post on that.

Today, people everywhere have become egocentric to empower and exalt themselves above God. They feel no remorse and no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm.

The power center of the beast is plunged into darkness during the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. The languishing global culture of the beast will be powerless at that time. Global warming is in the world today [Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9] , and is instrumental in destroying the power center of the beast. We see the dark shadow falling upon the government of the beast, the global culture is languishing, and the earth is languishing as well.

“The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance,
broken the everlasting covenant.” Isaiah 24:5

The earth is defiled under the inhabitants that serve the beast while rejecting the Christ, Jesus. The beast is born of Satan, and the earth is defiled in that it becomes a place filled with demons, impure spirits, and detestable animals, “She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2

The global culture has transgressed the laws of God, given through His Son, Jesus. They thrive on destruction, death, and darkness as they reject the Christ who brings Light, Life, and Salvation, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

The global culture has changed the ordinance of God given through Jesus Christ. The ordinance we have from God is to be reconciled to Him, in the Spirit, through Jesus Christ. Today’s culture has changed that to mandate that every person must reconcile to the beast, through physiology, to welcome it to speak and live through them.

The global culture has broken the everlasting covenant by not believing the word of God and by disregarding the Lord Jesus who gives eternal life. This is the eternal covenant, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

The beast is able to empower a person in this life, but the body wears out and dies, and eternal life is not offered.

“Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.” Isaiah 24:6

The few “men” who are left refers to what is known as the “remnant”. The remnant includes a “handful” of the faithful few [from all around the world]. That includes all of us who hold to the testimony of Jesus, and our born-again experience is the Gospel of Jesus Christ written on our heart. “All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate.
