Satan and his children come to a disgraceful and humiliating end.

“All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, everyone in his own house. But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a corpse trodden underfoot.” Isaiah 14:18-19

Every president in every nation around the world “sleeps in glory” when they die. That’s because the population they govern over gives them highest honors after their passing. The presidents have their own special place of burial where people can come and give their tribute down through the years. That special place is their “own house”, whether referring to the “house” as their burial place or the “house” as the nation they once governed over. Even the national and global leaders of the government of the beast “sleeps in glory” because the masses of the global culture of the beast honors them with special tribute.

The “you” in the verse above is Satan, who establishes the global government of the beast, as described in Isaiah 14: 12-15. While other presidents “sleep in glory” in their own “house”, that will not be the case for Satan, who makes himself ruler over every nation through the global government and the global culture. Instead of sleeping in glory, he will be cast out of his grave like a detested and dishonorable branch. His rule on this earth comes to an end and he is cast into eternal hell instead of eternal glory. Satan rules on this earth for “42 months”, as described in Revelations 13:5-6. In the same way that people throw off dirty clothes, that is how the lord will cast away Satan to eternal punishment. Satan will be pierced by the sword of our Lord and go down to the pits of hell, like Jesus who was pierced through the heart and cast to the grave as dead. However, where our Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected to eternal glory, Satan’s destiny is eternal disgrace and shame. Satan will be like a corpse that is trampled upon.

“You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people. The brood of evildoers will never be named.” Isaiah 14:20

The leaders of the nations of the world receive honor from the global culture of the beast as they “sleep in glory”. However, even though Satan established the global government and the global culture, he will not join the other leaders in honor and glory.

Satan is destroying this planet and bringing slaughter to his people by provoking the judgment of God against him and all who serve him through the beast. Satan governs by requiring all people to deny God, discard Jesus Christ, and oppose the Holy Spirit. Satan builds his global “golden city” on his beast that governs by giving breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. Because Satan deceives the world to serve the beast, the planet and all the population are heading to destruction and slaughter.

We already see the planet beginning to be destroyed by global warming, which is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. That leads to the destruction of Satan’s power center of the beast, which is the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That renders Satan powerless over the global “golden city” that he built. In that loss of power, the Battle of Armageddon comes to bring even more destruction to his “golden city”, which is the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-16. One third of the earth is destroyed in Revelations 8:7 of the First Trumpet. One third of the oceans, life in the oceans, and ships are destroyed in Revelations 8:8-9 of the Second Trumpet. One third of the fresh waters is made poisonous in Revelations 8:10-11 of the Third Trumpet. One third of the light from the sun, moon, and stars are darkened in Revelations 8:12 of the Fourth Trumpet.

Not only is Satan bringing destruction to this planet, but he is bringing slaughter to the people who serve his beast. Rebellion against the followers of Satan’s beast breaks out in the Fifth Trumpet of Revelations 9:1-12. Global slaughter happens when one third of humanity is killed in the Sixth Trumpet of Revelations 9:13-21. For the people of Satan’s beast, the slaughter becomes much worse, “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Revelations 19:17-18

There will be no “candle light vigils”, no memorials, no one who “sleeps in glory” because those tributes do not exist in hell. The brood of evildoers will never be named in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

“Prepare slaughter for his children because of the iniquity of their fathers, lest they rise up and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities.” Isaiah 14:21

Who are Satan’s children? They are those who live for his beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. That is the beast that gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through Satan’s children. By what they say and do they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. The Lord says, “Prepare slaughter for his children.”

The Lord even gives a reason why he brings the slaughter to Satan’s children… because of the iniquity of their fathers. The fathers of Satan’s children are anyone who raises, teaches, or sets an example for people to live by the beast that governs through their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. The iniquity of those fathers is rooted in un-belief in God, discarding the need for Jesus Christ, and opposing the presence of the Holy Spirit. The fathers of Satan’s children could be school personnel, government leaders, community leaders, leaders within the fallen churches, parents, and so forth. God allows all people to choose who to serve, but today’s culture does not, and our Lord Jesus says, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven….whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 19:14 and 18:6  

Satan’s children will be slaughtered lest they rise up and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities. The global government of the beast and its global “golden city” will never possess this earth as their own and will certainly not possess the promised land of the eternal New Jerusalem. The collapse of this present governing system is described in Revelations 18. The face of the earth will not be filled with their atheistic cities. The eternal New Jerusalem will have no place for them, their place is an eternity of shame and contempt, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
