Christ causes the wolves and lions to live with the lambs and calves.

The following verses describe the day of Jesus Christ, as described in the post on Isaiah 11:1-5. That is a day when there is neither Jew nor Greek, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28 That describes the family of Christ here on this earth, and in the new heaven and earth of the eternal New Jerusalem. That is the background of the following verses of this post.

“The wolf also will dwell with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child will lead them.” Isaiah 11:6

This verse draws a comparison between predators and the prey. The wolf preys on lambs, the leopard preys on young goats, and the lion preys on the calf and fatlings of the flock. In the body of Jesus Christ, there are no predators because the wolf, leopard, and lion lives with the lambs, young goats, calves, and fatlings. That happens when people known as predators are born-again and becomes family members with the sheep of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Paul, before his born-again experience, was the wolf, leopard, and lion preying on the followers of Jesus Christ. After coming to Jesus, Paul became a member of the family of Christ…the wolf, leopard, lion, truly did live with the lambs, goats, calves, and fatlings.

A child will lead them refers to the meekness, gentleness, peace, and innocence of the Holy Spirit leading the wolves, leopards, and lions the same as the lambs, goats, calves, and fatlings. That is the nature of the family of Jesus Christ and the nature of life in the eternal New Jerusalem. Our Lord Jesus is the Christ Child, the only Son of God.

Today, the goal of the United Nations is to create an earthly Garden of Eden by making the wolves, leopards, and lions to lay down with the lambs, goats, calves, and fatlings. They rely on the beast that has power over physiology to make that happen. They expect the global population to live by the beast that governs by giving them what to feel, think, speak, and do. As a global culture, they reject belief in God, discard the need for Jesus Christ who forgives unbelief, and they do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are. They look at Christians as the predators looking to devour their atheistic lambs, goats, calves, and fatlings.

Persecution comes from the global culture of the beast where the predators befriend the prey to form a family union against the Lamb of God and His followers. They have a form of Godliness but deny the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That is the nature of the beast with two horns like a lamb, which is Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit, as described in the post on Revelations 13:11-12. We are counted among the transgressors, as our Lord Jesus, “And He was numbered with the transgressors…” Isaiah 53:12 and that is quoted in Luke 22:37.

“The cow and the bear will graze; Their young ones will lie down together; and the lion will eat straw like the ox.” Isaiah 11:7

The cow and ox represents the food supply, such as milk, cheese, meat, vegetables, grain, and every fruit that comes from the trees. That’s because the cow is the source of milk, cheese, meat and the ox represents farming because the ox was used to plow the land. The bear and the lion represents devouring the resources needed to survive from day-to-day. In a sense, the lion and bear represents the demand side of consumption, the consumers consume according to their wants which drives the amount of resources needed to supply the demand. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are taught moderation,

Jesus Christ came to bring us moderation and temperance in the presence of the Holy Spirit. In Him, the supply is equal to the needs as the cow and bear graze together and the lion and and ox eats straw together. The young ones lie down together in the moderation and self-control of the Spirit, “Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.” Philippians 4:5 “Have you found honey? Eat only as much as you need…” Proverbs 25:16 “And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. 1 Corinthians 9:25

Today, the United Nations has an agenda promoted through the “Sustainable Development Goals“. The focus is on building a future for the world that is sustainable for generations to come. Their focus is to make the bear and lion to lie down in order to conserve the need for cows and oxen. In other words, to conserve the demand for resources produced by the earth and to reduce the meat and dairy that comes through cows. The United Nations goal is to put to sleep the demand side of consumers in order to become the global supplier of what people need. That is the purpose of the global economy. However, they ignore the presence of the Holy Spirit and discard the need for Jesus Christ. In order to put demand to sleep, the cashless society is being implemented, and the digital currency is just around the corner. “The nursing child will play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child will put his hand in the viper’s den.” Isaiah 11:8

Snakes are sneaky and stealthy waiting for the prey to be within striking distance before sinking their fangs of deadly venom into their prey. A young, vulnerable young child, will play next to a cobra’s hole and a weaned child will put a hand in the viper’s den and will not be bit.

Our Lord Jesus calls us to be wise as serpents but harmless as doves, “…be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” Matthew 10:16 In a sense, that is the combination of a young, weaned child and a cobra or viper. By the Holy Spirit, the Lord calls us to be His children and to be wise as serpents. In that way, as the family of Christ, we fellowship with one another in a way that we are able to play by the “cobra’s hole” and to put our hand in the “viper’s den”. As children of Christ, living in the Holy Spirit, we are not going to harm another child of God, “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17

Even today, we followers of Jesus Christ are sitting by the cobra’s hole and viper’s den everywhere we go. Whether at work, school, the shopping center, community gatherings, in the neighborhood, etc. They sink their venom into the presence of the Holy Spirit, where the life of Holiness is constantly exposed to their poison. However, it is by our faith and by he armor of God that the venom does not harm our walk with the Christ, Jesus. Click here for the armor of God from Ephesians 6:10-20.

We live in a culture, which is global, whose children are those nursing on the beast that is living and speaking through their physiology. Beside those children are “cobras’ holes” and “vipers’ dens”, ready to sink their venomous fangs into anyone who approaches those children against the will of the beast. It’s almost a crime, and a very serious offense, to speak to children about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. At the same time, the children feel very comfortable playing by the “cobra’s hole” and putting their hand in the “viper’s den”. Those “cobra’s” and “viper’s” are those who serve the beast that gives them what to do, say, feel, and think. Those children are raised to believe its normal to fill with venom those of us who believe in God, acknowledge Jesus as Christ and Lord, and who makes the Holy Spirit part of who we are.

“They will not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Isaiah 11:9

Today, the earth is full of the knowledge of the Lord on all seven continents around the world. I haven’t meant a person yet who hasn’t heard of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For we who believe and are part of the family of Christ, there is no one who desires to hurt nor destroy. In the days to come, when we are resurrected into eternal life, we will live on the Holy Mountain of the Lord, which is the eternal New Jerusalem, Mount Zion.

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There will be no more pain, for the former things have passed away…And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there will be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.” Revelations 21:4, Revelations 22:1-3

….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Revelation 2:24-25
