“Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’
She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.”

Global population is atrocious.
“After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.” Revelation 18:1

“After these things” refer to after the formation of the global government of the beast, as described in Revelations 17. The United Nations will become the undisputed one world government but will come to a horrid collapse.

An angel comes down from heaven with great authority to illuminate the earth with his glory. The illumination that is given is the destruction of the global government and its global culture,

“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and has become a dwelling place of demons,
a prison for every foul spirit,
and a cage for every unclean and detestable animal.
Revelations 18:2

“Babylon” is the global government of the beast [the United Nations]. It’s called the government of the beast because it is built on the beast that gives people what to speak, think, feel, and do. The beast is the father of foul spirits, demons, and detestable birds and animals as it opposes the presence of the Holy Spirit, rejects Jesus Christ, and rages against belief in God. The world culture becomes filled with demons, foul spirits, and detestable animals. The beast that gives people what to speak and do gives life to the image of the beast to speak and live through people everywhere. By what they are given to say and do they are groomed to the mark of the beast.

Even today, we see how animals are becoming more vicious and aggressive, even house pets are no longer the “fluffy” type. As a 1959 Baby Boomer, common pets were along the lines of poodles, pugs, collies, Irish sitters, docile mix breeds, wiener dogs, beagles, sheep dogs, etc. Chihuahuas, Dobermans, Rothweilers, and German shepherds were about as scary and vicious as they came. The common house pets of my day have dwindled significantly. I look around today and wonder where they have all gone. The pets and animals in the world nowadays would eat “fluffy” for breakfast.

“For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” Revelation 18:3

“Fornication” is to serve someone or something other than the Living God. “Fornication” is to reject Jesus and the Holy Spirit to bond with someone or something that gratifies physiological, carnal, and fleshly desires. In the case of the global government and its global culture, they are committing fornication by meshing with the beast that gives them what to speak, think, feel, and do. The fleshly gratification they receive is empowerment with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary talents and skills, amazing physical abilities and feats, sensual pleasures and comforts, fabricated emotional responses, uncanny authority over others, etc.

Every governing official, of every nation, on every continent, has given their allegiance to the beast that has power over physiology to empower them with what to speak, do, think, and feel. That is true today. In fact, the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations are recognized by peoples and nations everywhere. They have truly “…drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication…” In fact, the global economy is being built on the cooperation of every country and nation of the United Nations “…and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” The prosperity of the nations of the world is seen written within the “Sustainable Development Goals”

People in every city around the world are drinking what the global culture is serving them. They are groomed to put more importance on earthly possessions, money, and comforts, while turning from God and detesting the idea of the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. That describes humanism, which is the fig leaf worn by those living for the beast forming their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters.”

The wrath of God’s judgment comes against the global government and its global culture. Global warming is here and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. Global warming is instrumental in bringing the destruction of the power center of the beast, as described in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That renders the global government and its global culture powerless. Then comes the Battle of Armageddon, as described in Revelations 16:12-17. Our Lord Jesus returns when the Seventh Trumpet sounds, as described in Revelations 11:15-18.

God’s people are warned to stay apart from the global culture.
“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

We are to come apart from today’s culture, which is global. The global culture is united and functions through the “6-6-6”. They have no belief in God the Creator [6], discard the need for Jesus Christ who forgives unbelief [6], and fights against the presence of the Holy Spirit [6]. As quoted, “Do not form bonds with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Satan? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-16

To join with today’s culture, which is global, means to share with their sins. Bottom line, those sins include denial of God the Creator, rejection of Jesus Christ, and opposing the presence of the Holy Spirit. We do not want to share in those sins but to keep our faith in Jesus Christ by the mercy and grace of God.

Receiving of this culture’s plagues includes the economic plague, as described in this chapter of Revelations 18. How do we come apart from the economy of this world? By the contents of our heart and soul, as our Lord Jesus says, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21

This culture’s plagues also include “foul and loathsome sores”, as quoted, “So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.” Revelations 16:2 The plagues of this culture also include what is mentioned in this verse, “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.” Revelations 16:10-11

There is also a plague of this culture mentioned in Revelations 9:3-4, “Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.”

We are to come apart from those who are determined to serve the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. They are mainstream society that lives on the broad way to destruction. We are to live on the difficult and narrow way that leads to life, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

Retribution against the global culture comes for exalting itself above God and Jesus Christ. 
“For her sins have piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.” Revelation 18:5-6

The sins under the United Nations (Government of the beast) pile up so high that there is no escaping the destructive consequences which come as a result. A description of “…her sins have piled up to heaven…” is found in this verse, “…has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2 This happens because the population of the world follows the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel, as quoted, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 The “him” in this verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.

This is prophetically written of today’s global culture, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Genesis 6:5 “Man” refers to humanity. Click here for a post on Genesis 6.

The sins pile up to Heaven because the Holy Spirit is removed from the population of the world. Lawlessness abounds when the Holy Spirit is no longer available because He is who restrains lawlessness, as quoted, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8 Click here for a post on the lawless one.

God remembers the iniquities of those who reject Jesus Christ because their unbelief is not forgiven. They habitually mock and grieve the Holy Spirit which gives rise to lawlessness and a world filled with foul spirits, demons, and every detestable bird and animal. Just as those who are hostile to Jesus, persecute those who believe in Him, and make a mockery of the Holy Spirit, God will do to them and pay them double. The global government of the beast has mixed a cup requiring all people to drink of the potion given by the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel. God will repay the government of the beast double within the Holiness of His wrath and judgment. The global government and its global culture will be utterly destroyed. And this chapter of Revelations 18 describes the total collapse of the global economy.

In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.” Revelation 18:7-8

Today, the members of the United Nations see the assembly of the United Nations as the future undisputable one world government with control over the economy of the world. The United Nations glorifies itself by setting itself up as the solution to the world’s problems, the path to survival, peace, prosperity, climate revival, and global unity. That is seen as the “Sustainable Development Goals” are being embraced by countries around the world. “…she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’” The global government persuades the global population that they are building an earthly Garden of Eden, but our Lord says, “A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing shall escape them.” Joel 2:3 Click here for the full chapter of Joel 2.

Destruction is coming to those proposing an earthly Garden of Eden, and the global economy totally collapses, “… her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her.” The global government suffers devastation within the events of the Seven Trumpets [Revelations 8, 9, and 11] and the events of the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16.

The beast behind the power of the global government and its global culture is the one who sets itself up as God in the temple of God, our body. This is done by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel. That beast feels invincible like it will never see sorrow and never be left powerless. This is the one “… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4” The “he” in that verse is the “man of sin”. “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation…” Isaiah 14:12-13 Click here for the whole chapter Isaiah 14.

Satan was defeated when he was cast out of Heaven as Lucifer (strike one). Satan was defeated when Jesus Christ died on the Cross and was raised from the dead with victory over sin and death (strike two). And Satan will be defeated when Jesus Christ returns to cast him eternally into the pit of hell (strike three and he’s out!).

World trade of land resources, and human trafficking collapses.
“The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’” Revelation 18:9-10

In “one hour,” the judgment against the global government of the beast comes. Today, we can literally see how quickly that judgment is coming. Immediately after WW2, the United Nations was established and brought the government of the beast, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and also Revelation 17. Already, global warming is in the world and is the Fourth Plague spoken about in Revelation 16:8-9. The more powerful the United Nations become as the one world government the hotter and more intense the effects of global warming become.

The beast has power in this world for “42 months”. The “42 months” began when the United Nations was formed in 1945 and ends when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. The kings of the earth who commit fornication and live luxuriously with her are the countries and nations around the world. They form the global government that governs from the United Nations. The fornication they commit is to form a bond with the beast that empowers them through what they are given to speak, do, think, and feel. That fornication includes the denial of God the Creator [6], the rejection of Jesus Christ [6], and opposition to the presence of the Holy Spirit [6]. They live luxuriously in the sense that they govern over the world’s resources by forming the global economy. They will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, standing at a distance for fear of her torment.

The events of the First Trumpet in Revelation 8:7 gives a preview of the burning of land resources and the beginning of the decline of the global economy, which links to the demise of the global government, as quoted, “The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

“And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.” Revelation 18:11-13

Today’s global government sees human beings as being in the same category as merchandise and animals, even though their deception is all about representing humanitarian interests. “Men” in the Bible usually refers to “mankind” or all of humanity. All of humanity is considered a possession or merchandise of the beast that has power over physiology. People are being trafficked and used as vessels as the beast gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. The bodies and souls of people everywhere are merchandise and possessions of the global government of the beast. This will go on until this present world system is destroyed and our Lord Jesus returns.

Also, human trafficking relating to sexual, labor, and other such practices exist within the global government of the beast. This is a form of persecution and affliction against those who do not condone the atheistic culture, which is global. Many will be imprisoned and killed but others will be used, abused, and trafficked sexually, for labor, etc. This will go on until this present world system is destroyed and our Lord Jesus returns. The term “human trafficking” will probably not be used in order to protect the humanitarian image of the global government and its global culture.

Economic prosperity and a squeaky-clean image mean more to the global government than human beings. They value the things that make the world rich, prosperous, smelling good, having a smooth and fine image. They value gold, silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood [fragrance and beauty], every type of object of ivory, every type of precious wood, bronze, iron, marble, cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, and wheat. However, the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over the destruction of the global economy because no one buys their merchandise anymore.

“The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you will find them no more at all.” Revelation 18:14

The fruit of the soul that the global government and its global culture longs for is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit. They long for the fruit of the beast that sets itself up as God within our body [the temple of God}. That fruit includes uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others, fabricated emotional responses, amazing physical abilities and feats, etc. That fruit leaves them when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Their fruit also refers to the prosperity of the global economy. All the things which are rich and splendid leaves them and they will find them no more at all.

“The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls!” Revelation 18:15-16

World trade of ocean routes collapses.
“For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’ ” Revelation 18:17-19

In the previous section, the “one hour” in which the global government and its global economy come to nothing is spoken about. All of the earth’s resources and human resources go up in smoke. In this section, all of the shipping industries comes to nothing as there is no place on land to dock the ships. This collapse of international shipping affects every shipmaster, everyone who travels by ship, sailors, and those who trade by sea. This would include cruise ships, personal yachts, every sort of travel by ocean, military ships, fishing boats, and commercial cargo ships [that keeps the global economy afloat]. They cry out, weeping and wailing, and saying, all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.

With the land resources and human resources going up in smoke, there would not be much commerce to transport nor any other opportunity to travel from shore to shore. The global economy collapses beyond repair. When the Second Trumpet sounds in Revelation 8:8-9, the oceans are severely affected, as quoted, “Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.” Revelation 18:8-9 As seen in the events of the First and Second trumpets, the resources of the earth and oceans are severely affected, which leads to the total collapse of the global economy.

We must never put our hope in the resources of this earth. Only Jesus Christ can provide the Heaven this world is trying to build. The promise made by the global government of an earthly Garden of Eden, promoted through the “Sustainable development Goals” of the United Nations, will never happen, “A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness…” Joel 2:3

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Matthew 7:24-27

Call to Rejoice Over the Global Collapse.
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!” Revelation 18:20

As followers of Jesus Christ, we rejoice that the global culture of the beast will be destroyed. We rejoice with all of Heaven, all of the Holy Apostles of the New Testament era, and all of the Prophets of God in the Old Testament. The day of the end of the anti-Christian global culture is the day every person of God prays for. The answer to those prayers comes through the events of the Seven Trumpets and Seven Plagues. Satan was defeated in Heaven as Lucifer, defeated on earth when Jesus Christ conquered sin and death, and defeated when Jesus Christ throws him into hell for eternity. That is strike one, strike two, and strike three, Satan is out!

As people who uphold the Gospel of Jesus Christ, we are harassed twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week by the beast which has power over physiology. It afflicts our thoughts and feelings trying to chase us from living for Jesus Christ. It wants to enable the image of the beast to live and speak through us by causing us to welcome the beast forming thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. It wants to conform us to the anti-Christian global culture by grooming us to the mark of the beast by what we are given to say and do. We rejoice for the day of its destruction. We rejoice for the day God avenges us.

Today’s Government is the Last of Earthly Government.
“Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon will be thrown down, and will not be found anymore.” Revelation 18:21

A millstone represents the livelihood of every city around the world. It was used to grind grain to prepare the grain for making food. The millstone would be the equivalent of every food processing plant in this world today. Throwing the millstone into to the sea symbolizes the collapse of the global food processing industry. That would follow the ruin of the trade of land and ocean resources, which would be devastating to the ability to process food in the tightly interwoven global economy. With that, inflation and unemployment would be extremely high and thievery and murders a way of life.

T0day, we see how the United Nations has implemented their “Sustainable Development Goals” within every nation around the world. They are steadily progressing in becoming the one world government where America and all nations will be a state under their governance. It is the very last form of government that this world will ever know. In the past, one government would fall, and another would rise to replace it, not the case this time. When the global government of the beast collapses it is the end of this world’s system. We are witnessing the formation of the very last government structure on this planet. When it collapses, it’s a time when Jesus Christ eternally defeats the beast, the second beast (false prophet), and Satan. A new heaven and earth will be created where the New Jerusalem will exist, our eternal home.

“The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters will not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft will be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone will not be heard in you anymore. The light of a lamp will not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will not be heard in you anymore.” Revelation 18:22-23

The paragraph above describes total and complete global tribulation. Envision not being able to produce electricity for light, manufacturing, businesses, shopping centers, education, governing offices, heat, warmth, and cooking. Even the production of music would come to an end. Unemployment would be off the charts as there would be no businesses open to hire employees. In that end of end times, marriage would be a fairy tale notion as people would be using and abusing others for sexual gratification. This is a time when the Holy Spirit has been taken from the world due to the rejection of Jesus Christ and the denial of God the Creator. This collapses the global government and its global economy. God brings His vengeance against this world by totally destroying everything it built. A house built on sand cannot stand. The world will be totally void and useless.

Spiritually speaking, we see the beginning of the end for the United Nations, even before it becomes the undisputed one world government. The Light of Jesus Christ in not shining in the world as the global falling away from belief in God has happened. The churches have abandoned the Gospel of Christ to partner with the community agenda. Government lawmakers no longer integrate the values of the Bible into laws, policies, and executive orders. The educational system prohibits the teaching of the Gospel of Christ in classrooms. And no sector of the community welcomes Christianity. People are no longer being married to Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Speaking to the global government, the light of a lamp will not shine in you anymore.

Music that glorifies Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, is not being heard anymore. The Spirit of Holiness in music has disappeared. The spread of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being prohibited as we who work to spread the testimony of Jesus are prohibited from doing so. As our Lord Jesus says, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” John 9:4-5 The sound of the Christian millstone is not being heard anymore. 

Reminder of why the world collapses.
“For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” Revelation 18:23-24
