Phase 4–Church of Secret Knowledge

This is the 4th of seven churches. The Gospel of Christ is tossed aside, the faithful are being slandered and persecuted, the church is corrupted, and now they are teaching members to live by the “secret knowledge.”

This message is from the one with eyes like blazing fire and feet like burnished bronze. This is where God stands immovable in His judgment against the knowledge of “Deep Secrets.”

“To the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and
whose feet are like burnished bronze.”
Revelation 2:18

Church is Doing More Now than Before
The church is doing a lot nowadays and it is much more than what it was doing when it was rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, the churches are jointly involved with the city in their agenda to teach people to live by the internal realm of “deep secrets.” The churches are very active in community outreach programs without the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

There is a thing in our community and churches which has the ability to form what people think, feel, and do which is obviously the source of “deep secrets” which no one is openly discussing. The reason it is so secretive is because open dialogue would reveal that it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. Openness about its presence would spark discussions about how it denies the existence of God, discards the need for Jesus Christ, and blasphemes the Holy Spirit. Openness about people being conformed to their place in life by what they say and do would spark discussions about people being conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Openness about its presence would spark discussion about how the United Nations (global government of the beast) derives its power and authority from those “deep secrets.”

The part about the churches that is worthy of praise is their services, love, faith, and perseverance, but the flipside of the coin is that they tolerate the spiritual killing of church leaders who then welcome the “deep secrets” that are not of God. Wouldn’t it be great to have churches working busily to promote the testimony of Jesus? That is talked about in the coming verses.

“I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance,
and that you are now doing more than you did at first.”
Revelation 2:19

God is the One Who Knows Hearts and Minds
Jezabel is a word I’ve heard quite a lot when I was growing up. If I had a “crush” on a girl someone would tell me, “She is a Jezabel.” I came to know Jezabel as being a girl that couldn’t be trusted and is an intentional heartbreaker. When I started to read the Bible, I learned that Jezabel is a woman that hunted down God’s prophets and had them killed. She slaughtered them by the masses.

Today, the churches are full of people who call themselves pastors and teachers, but really, they are male and female “Jezebels.” They are killing their congregation so that they have no desire for God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit. Leading a person into sin is a way of declaring that they are no longer interested in the Gospel of Christ.

Sexual pleasures are a “harmless,” “fun,” and “pleasant” way of luring a person into the “food of the idols.” In this case, that “food” is indulging into “Satan’s so-called deep secrets,” which is mentioned in the verse after these ones. Today, we know those deep secrets involve uncanny knowledge, information, and heightened intuition that comes from the inner presence that forms what people think, feel, do, and speak. Ask them how they know what they know, and they will clam up in one way or another, but they refuse to be open and enlightening about living by “Satan’s so-called deep secrets.” They love the darkness more than light.

The “Jezebels” have been given time to repent and they refuse. Unless they repent, all those who have learned to live by the deep secrets, including the “Jezebels,” will suffer intensely in eternal torment. Everyone will know that it is God who knows the hearts and minds. Everyone will be repaid according to the actions of their behaviors.

“Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality
and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 
I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 
So, I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her
suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead.
Then all the churches will know that I am He who searches hearts and minds, and
I will repay each of you according to your deeds.”
Revelation 2:20-23

Stay Away From the “Deep Secrets”
For those of us who do not follow the teachings of the “Jezebels,” we who do not live by the so-called deep secrets of the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak, this is spoken to us, hold on until Jesus returns. The only thing that is expected of us is to hold on to what we have in Jesus Christ until He returns.

“Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and
have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
Revelation 2:24-25

God’s People Given Authority to Rule Over Nations
It’s hard to imagine that I would be given authority over anything. That’s the way my mind, emotions, and behaviors perform in this world. At the same time, the very same people who are rejected in this world are the ones who Jesus Christ accepts. I just have to continue to keep myself separated from the mode of operation of this world and to reject the broad way of the society of the beast. I have come to the Cross of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin, and I believe He is alive after being dead for three days. Because He lives, I will also live with Him in eternity. Jesus is coming back.

“To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations— that one ‘will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery’—
just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give that one the morning star. 
Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
Revelation 2:26-29
