It is easy for me to feel useless, unwanted, and not having any purpose in life. That’s because the internal government is constantly beating down any thoughts or feelings that builds me up. The internal government is the thing which forms what we think, feel, and do. It is against keeping God and Jesus Christ within our thoughts and feelings, as it tramples on the Holy Spirit.
It’ s not just an internal brow beating, but the thing that forms what we think and feel enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. The masses within the “democratic” society are allowing it to live and speak through them and they make it clear that they have no need for me nor any aspect of Christianity. Christians choose Jesus Christ and turn away from the system of the internal government.
Whatever faith-shaming, judgment, and criticism I experience in this world, I have peace with God through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus, I am justified in my daily living in the eyes of God and the suffering in this world cannot separate the love which God has for me. His grace and mercy through Jesus Christ give me peace and assurance.
I experience various types of sufferings, hardships, and conflict because of the testimony I hold for Jesus. It is better to have peace with God than peace with the world. In the sufferings, I have developed perseverance and hope. Through the years, my Christian character has been strengthened, and my heart retains the love and the presence of the Holy Spirit. I have become firmly rooted in my belief in God, in acknowledging my need for Jesus Christ, and in embracing the Holy Spirit.
Paul explains what the rewards of enduring hardships are to the Christians of that day. To choose the righteousness that comes by faith in Jesus Christ would turn the ire of the Jewish community against them. It was a very serious problem to claim that the law (Old Testament) was not needed to come to God. The church of that time was behind the crucifixion of Jesus Christ because He pointed to Himself as a way to God. In the same way, Christians were severely abused and murdered simply for coming to God through Jesus. Through all their affliction, it would build their character through the Holy Spirit who fills the heart with love.
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God
Romans 5:1-5
through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith
into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.
Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering
produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out
into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
