Let Them Hear

Luke 22:49-53

“Hearing” is a common practice in our society today. That is when a thought pops into a person’s head and they repeat it. Often, I will hear the term “parrot” to refer to them, “He’s a parrot”, or “she’s a parrot”, or “they repeat everything they hear.” Those who live by that “hearing” are the same ones who receive the mark of the beast, they are the human robots. The human robots are fed the information and then they repeat it. It is not from a person’s humanness nor is it the Word of God nor is it the Spirit of Christ. Jesus says it is their hour, the hour of darkness, so let it be.

Those who have the testimony of Jesus are not to take up weapons against them. Jesus Christ is not leading a rebellion and His followers are not armed rebels. There is no need for the system of the internal government to come against us with force. Jesus Christ leads us in the paths of peace, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15

“When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour—when darkness reigns.” Luke 22:49-53
