Let Them Hear

“Hearing” is a common practice in our society today. That is when a thought pops into a person’s head and they repeat it. Often, I will hear the term “parrot” to refer to them, “He’s a parrot”, or “she’s a parrot”, or “they repeat everything they hear.” Those who live by that “hearing” are those who serve the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. That beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. By what they are given to say and do, the yare groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. It is not from a person’s humanness nor is it the Word of God nor is it the Spirit of Christ. Jesus says it is their hour, the hour of darkness, so let it be.

Those who have the testimony of Jesus are not to take up weapons against those of today’s culture, which is global. We are not to “cut off their ear”. Jesus Christ is not leading a rebellion and His followers are not armed rebels. Jesus Christ leads us in the paths of peace, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15 “He will not quarrel nor cry out, nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.” Matthew 12:19

“When Jesus’ followers saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?” And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear. But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him. Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs? Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me.
