“Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods;”

“Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods;” Isaiah 41:23
That verse puts the verses of this post into context.

“Present your case,” says the Lord. “Bring forth your strong reasons,” says the King of Jacob. “Let them bring forth and show us what will happen; Let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; Or declare to us things to come.” Isaiah 41:21-22

When the Spirit of the Lord says, “Present your case,” in today’s world He is speaking to those of the culture of the beast, who dominate in every city around the world. They live for the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. People are being conformed to the mark, name, number of the beast by what they are given to say and do. The Lord God says to them, “Bring forth your strong reasons,” meaning to explain why they boast in their attitude and behavior, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war with him?” Revelations 13:4

If they are so unchallengeable and invincible, then let them bring forth and show us what will happen. Do they know that global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9? Do they know that global warming plays a role in plunging the power center of the beast into darkness? That happens in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Do they know that the Battle of Armageddon means the end of this present world system? That happens in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-17. Do they know that their promised earthly Garden of Eden is “A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong,
the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing will escape them.” Joel 2:2-3

If they are so unchallengeable and invincible, then let them show the former things, what they were, that we may consider them. The Holy Bible is all about showing us former things and highlights the destruction that comes to nations that want to govern over the world by rejecting God the Creator, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Those of today’s culture of the beast are hard pressed to show a history with a positive outcome of those seeking to dominate the world. What history are they building on? The beast has no history because it didn’t exist in this world until the United Nations was formed in 1945, immediately after World War 2, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and also Revelations 17. The beast reigns in this world for “42 months”, or “1260 days”. The end of the beast’s government on earth ends when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness, the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. A post on the beginning and ending of the beast’s reign on earth is described in Revelations 13:5-6.

“Show the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that you are gods; Yes, do good or do evil, that we may be dismayed and see it together.” Isaiah 41:23

Why would we be dismayed at the culture of the beast doing good? Because they are those “…having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” 2 Timothy 3:5

For obvious reasons we are dismayed at the evil that the culture of the beast does. They serve the dragon [Satan] by allowing the beast to speak and live through them, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.” Revelations 12:17

“Indeed you are nothing, and your work is nothing; He who chooses you is an abomination.” Isaiah 41:24

Those who choose to serve the power of darkness, through the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel is an abomination. They are intensely disliked by God our Creator. They are those who crucify Christ Jesus everyday as they seek to drive His Gospel and all of Christianity into extinction, as described in the post on Revelations 12. They intend to keep Jesus Christ in the grave within the spirit and soul of people as they keep guard to ensure that no one will be resurrected in Spirit by faith in Him.

In the eyes of God, the work of those of the culture of the beast to build an earthly Garden of Eden is nothing. All the effort being spent on the indoctrination of the “Sustainable development Goals” of the United Nations is a waste of time. There is no future for them…no eternal future in the New Jerusalem. Indeed, they are nothing.

“You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelations 16:5-6

“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
