Government of the beast comes to put Christianity to death.
“Then with counsel and wisdom Daniel answered Arioch, the captain of the king’s guard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon;” Daniel 2:14
Daniel answered Arioch with counsel means that he was counseled by those who were watching over him. For Daniel to answer with wisdom refers to the wisdom that the Spirit of God had bestowed upon him, “As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.” Daniel 1:17 Daniel was able to answer Arioch with the counsel given to him in combination with the wisdom given to him from God.
Arioch was sent to kill Daniel and all of the wisemen because the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans were not able to interpret the spiritual dream that the Lord God laid upon king Nebuchadnezzar, as described in the post on Daniel 2:1-13. Daniel was aware of who Arioch was, had been counseled on how to answer him, and had the wisdom given to him by the Spirit of God, and had understanding in all visions and dreams. Daniel was ready to give a wise and knowledgeable reply to man sent to kill him.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are knowledgeable of who the people are who live and govern for the beast. They intend to put to death all of Christianity in the effort to stamp out the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as described in Revelations 12. Our wisdom and understanding of the visions and dreams of the Bible come by the Spirit of God. Only in the Bible is the beast spoken about that gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 and the beast wants to sit in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God by giving people what to say, do, think, and feel and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that.
The question is, “Why is the government of the beast so harsh towards the way of Jesus Christ?”
“…he answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree from the king so harsh?” Then Arioch made the decision known to Daniel.” Daniel 2:15
The reply Daniel gave to Arioch, was a question…not judgmental, not aggressive, not belligerent, not angry, but a question from a meek and gentle spirit of peace, as our Lord Jesus says to us, “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles.” Matthew 10:16-18
Daniel humbly, compassionately, and supportively asked Arioch why Nebuchadnezzar’s order was so harsh. Daniel, in being counseled by his handlers, and having the wisdom of God, knew he had what king Nebuchadnezzar wanted. Daniel had the ability to understand visions and dreams. Daniel was genuinely coming across to Arioch as someone who wanted to help the king, to solve the spiritual nightmare that he was having.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we always want to come across peaceably to those of the culture of the beast and to be helpful to them in the Spirit of Christ, “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” Matthew 5:38-39 “Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:17-19
Arioch personally made known to Daniel that none of the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers, nor Chaldeans were able to reveal the spiritual dream, or nightmare, that king Nebuchadnezzar was having. That was why all the wisemen were being killed. That was Daniel’s moment to make it known that he would be able to interpret the spiritual dream of Nebuchadnezzar. God had given Daniel understanding in all visions and dreams. Daniel was brought before the king.
“So Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the interpretation.” Daniel 2:16
Daniel promised king Nebuchadnezzar that he would interpret his spiritual dream, or nightmare. That’s what Nebuchadnezzar wanted, and he was willing to give Daniel time to interpret the dream. As followers of Jesus Christ, we have an understanding of the world system of the beast, and its global culture because the Bible reveals it to us. We also have an understanding of the born-again experience through Jesus Christ, which is the message of the Cross written on our heart.
Our Lord Jesus says that we will be brought to the governing authorities because we live for Him and not for the beast that gives people what to say, do, think, and feel. When that happens, we are to turn that into an opportunity to testify to them concerning the word of God, Bible prophecy, and of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.” Matthew 10: 18-20
Fellow Christians are aware of the plan to put to death the way of Jesus Christ.
“Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.” Daniel 2:17-18
Hananiah is Shadrach, Mishael is Meshach. And Azariah is Abednego. Those are the three who were thrown into the fiery furnace for not bowing down to Nebuchadnezzar’s image of gold, as described in the post on Daniel 3:8-18. Daniel returned to his house and revealed to the other three that he, them, and all wisemen would be put to death if the dream of Nebuchadnezzar was not interpreted.
As followers of Jesus Christ, the culture of the beast will always give us ultimatums in one way or another. Those ultimatums result in abandoning God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit if we surrender to what they demand. The only objective of the beast is to put to death our faith in Jesus Christ to give breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through us. Our response is to seek the mercies from God in Heaven, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We know the secrets that those of the culture of the beast is hiding within them, and that secret is the beast giving them what to say, do, think, and feel. We have been given to know their secret, and we are not part of their social network. They intend to silence the way of Jesus Christ. “Now I say to the rest of you…who...have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’” Revelations 2:24-25 Click for the post on the church of Thyatira from Revelations 2:18-29.
We pray that we will not perish with those who live on the broad road leading to destruction, and God has sent His answer through Jesus Christ, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
The secret dream of the heart of the global government is known.
“Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.” Daniel 2:19
The secret of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was revealed to Daniel in a night vision, which described the rise and fall of the Babylonian Empire, as described in Daniel 2:31-45. Daniel praised the God of Heaven for the revelation of the dream, or nightmare.
Today, God has revealed to us followers of Christ Jesus about the dream and the nightmare of the global government and its global culture. We know about its dream to rise as the undisputed one world government, and we know the nightmare of its collapse. When the United Nations was established in 1945, immediately after World War 2, it brought the government of the beast with it, as described in Daniel 8:1-14. They are progressing in their dream to be established as the undisputed one world government. Their dream turns into a nightmare when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. We praise God for the revelations given to us through His word.

The goal of the global government and its global culture is to create an earthly Garden of Eden, but the Lord has other plans for them, “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, like the morning clouds spread over the mountains. A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been; Nor will there ever be any such after them…A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;” Joel 2:2-3
Thanksgiving for the revelation God gave about the heart and dream of the global government.
“Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him. I thank You and praise You, O God of my fathers; You have given me wisdom and might, and have now made known to me what we asked of You, for You have made known to us the king’s demand.” Daniel 2:20-23
With Daniel, that is exactly the praise we give to God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” Hebrews 4:12-13
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
