The corruption of five of the seven churches leads to our Lord Jesus Christ opening the Seven Seals, as described in Revelations 4 and also Revelations 5. That leads to the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11, the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. The two faithful witness, or two faithful churches [second and sixth Church], are faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ, persecuted, and have little strength. A link to each of the seven churches are at the bottom of this post.

In the previous three churches, the first-love for Jesus Christ was abandoned while doing good works, resulting in the removal of the lampstand. Then the faithful were persecuted where the temple of Satan is. Then those embracing the worldly agenda populates the church, but “hidden bread” is given to those who remain faithful to Christ. Then the fourth church of this post mixes the teachings of the beast, who gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel, into the teachings given to the congregation.

Message to the Church from the Lord with eyes like fire and feet like brass.

“And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass…” Revelations 2:18

The eyes like flame of fire refers to the Holiness of God looking upon the churches that weave the teaching of the beast into the learning of the congregation. The fire in His eyes is the wrath of His judgment burning against the churches from seeing how they have fallen away from the testimony of Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus is the word made flesh, so if the Bible is being taught, then Jesus is the center of those teachings, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

His feet like fine brass refers to His immovable judgment. “For the Lord of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it?
His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?” Isaiah 14:27

Church works are more now than before.

“I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.” Revelation 2:19

The Lord knows the Church from when they were doing works of love in the name of Jesus Christ, to spread the message that, “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 He knows the Church when they were doing service for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. He knows the Church when they lived by faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and for eternal Salvation, “For by grace you have been saved through faith…The just will live by faith.” Ephesians 2:8, Romans 1:17

The Lord knows the Church when they were filled with patience during times of affliction, a patience that came through hope and faith, and knowing His retribution would come against an unGodly world, “He who leads into captivity will go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Revelations 13:10

He says “as for your works, the last are more than the first.” That verse leads into the next verse of what the Lord has against the churches of today. That ties into the judgment against Church One in Revelations 2:1-7 when the lampstand was removed for abandoning the testimony of Jesus and relying on good works. Today, the churches have partnered with the community agenda, and their charitable work for the community is much more than they have ever done before. That’s because they have left their focus on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to focus on fulfilling the needs of the flesh. Their good works come without belief in God, without acknowledging Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, and without embracing the presence of the Holy Spirit. They have secularized the teachings of Jesus to care for others as they completely ignore sharing the message of the Cross.

Good works to achieve community praise does not bring us the blessings of the Lord, “How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?” John 5:44

Our good works must be rooted in Christ Jesus, that is what God created us for, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10 “…the just will live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38

Children of the teachings of the beast will be killed by the Lord.

“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.” Revelation 2:20-23

Regardless of all the good works of the churches of today, the Lord has a few things against them.

  • The churches allow “Jezebel”, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach the congregation of the churches. Jezebel was a woman who served a false god, killed the prophets of the Lord, hunted down Elijah to have him killed, and met a brutal death. Today, the churches welcome teachers who serve the beast and teaches the congregation to serve the beast that gives them what to say, do, think, and feel. In the process of those teachings, they chase out and work to spiritually kill those who believe in God the Creator, acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior, and welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit. They masquerade as ministers of righteousness, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 12 Corinthians 11:13-15 Some scripture referring to Jezebel include, 1 Kings 16:31, 1 Kings 18, 1 Kings 19, 2 Kings 9:30-37.
  • The congregation of the churches are taught not to look upon casual sex, homosexual sex, and the lifestyles of the LGBQT community as sin. They are taught tolerance and respect for all people, but without the love, compassion, respect, grace, mercy, and forgiveness that comes from God through Jesus Christ. Also, sexual feelings of comfort and pleasure cause people to leave Jesus Christ. They learn to live by the fulfillment of the flesh and to ignore life in the Spirit. The beast that gives people what to feel and think enflames sensual feelings within physiology in order to draw the focus off the Spirit. By doing that, people become receptive to welcome the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel as they die to belief in God, Jesus Christ, and are taught to oppose the presence of the Holy Sprit. Click here for a post from Ezekiel 8 called, “Sensual enticements are used to chase the Spirit of Christ out of His sanctuary, our body.”
  • The congregation of the churches are being taught to “eat things sacrificed to idols”. In other words, the people are being taught to accept the lifestyle given to them by the beast. As they say and do what the beast gives them to say and do, they are groomed to whatever the beast wants them to be. Whatever they become, it will be without belief in God, without Jesus Christ, and without the Holy Spirit. The beast gives them what to feel and think, and as they make that part of who they are, they become a child of the beast. The beast gives breath/life to the mage of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

Our Lord Jesus says to us, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.”… Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matthew 16:6, 12

The “Jezebels” of today’s churches have been given time to repent of teaching the congregation to live by what the beast gives them to say, do, think, and feel. They have been warned not to walk by the flesh but to walk by the Spirit. However, they do not repent, and ignore the call to repentance through Jesus Christ. An enormous global tribulation is coming to them, and global warming is already here and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. The power center of the beast, whom they serve, will be plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. The global economy collapses as described in Revelations 18.

Global tribulation is coming through the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9. and 11, the Seven Thunders of Revelations 10, and the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16.

The children of the global culture being taught to live for the beast will be killed by the Lord, they will suffer the “second death”, which is eternal hell, “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelations 20:14-15 Each of them will be judged according to their works, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.” Revelations 20:12 Is your name written in the Book of Life? Our Lord Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24

Today’s world might think the beast knows the minds and hearts of people, but in the end, it will be our Lord Jesus who is known as the One who searches the minds and hearts of every person.

Stay away from the “Deep Secrets” of Satan and hold on to what we have in Jesus Christ.

“Now to you I say, and to the rest in Thyatira, as many as do not have this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—‘He will rule them with a rod of iron; They will be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels’—as I also have received from My Father; and I will give him the morning star.“ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelations 2:24-29

Today, the “doctrine” being referred to is the teaching of the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel. Because those teachings are internal to a person, they are known as “secrets”. “It is the sword that slays, the sword that slays the great men, that enters their private chambers.” Ezekiel 21:14 Click for the post on Ezekiel 21. The “depths of Satan” is translated to “deep secrets of Satan”. Today, we know that no one is publicly speaking about the work of the beast in the world, within people. The only place you will hear about it is in the Bible. Government officials are not talking about it, the educational system is not talking about it, and the churches of today are not talking about it. The empowerment within the thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors of people is the deep secrets of Satan.

The culture of the beast loves the darkness, to keep the deep secrets of Satan a secret, but they hate the light. Ask them how they know what they know, or about their extraordinary skills and talents, etc. and they will clam up in one way or another, but they refuse to be open and enlightening about living by “Satan’s so-called deep secrets.” They love the darkness more than light. “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21

People who live by the “deep secrets of Satan” are empowered with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others, amazing physical abilities, fabricated emotional responses etc. However, they will be dashed to pieces by the Lord, like clay pots that potters make. That happens when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. The empowerment of the beast, working through the global culture, will be finished. Our Lord Jesus will rule over them with a rod of iron, meaning He will deal harshly with them on the day of judgment, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelations 20:12-15

For we who do not live by the empowerment of the beast, the Lord says, “I will put on you no other burden. But hold fast what you have till I come. And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end…”

We who live for God the Creator, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, will be given power over the nations, “To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelations 1:5-6 “If we endure, we will also reign with Him.” 2 Timothy 2:12 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” Revelations 3:21 It’s hard to imagine that I would be given authority over anything. That’s the way my mind, emotions, and behaviors perform in this world. At the same time, the very same people who are rejected in this world are the ones who Jesus Christ accepts.

As followers of Jesus Christ, He will give us the morning star. The morning star refers to the morning after the destruction of this present heaven and earth. That morning star is the new heaven and earth of the eternal New Jerusalem. To be given that morning star, we come to Christ Jesus, who is the Bright and Morning Star, the Creator of the new heaven and earth, the New Jerusalem. The Christ says, “I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Revelations 22:16

“And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter 1:19-21
