“For on this mountain the hand of the Lord will rest…” Isaiah 25:10a.
The mountain refers to Mount Zion, which is described in this way, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant…” Hebrews 12:22-24
For the Lord to have His hand on the eternal Mount Zion, the New Jerusalem, is for Him to protect it from His enemies. To protect it from those who reject Him, rejects Jesus the Christ, and rejects the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is why He placed the guardians of Holiness to guard the way to the Tree of Life, as quoted, “So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.” Genesis 3:24
The only way into the eternal New Jerusalem, where the Tree of Life is, is through Jesus Christ, “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9 Through Him, the Holy Spirit is given, and the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance of the New Jerusalem. as quoted, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…” Ephesians 1:13-14
“And Moab will be trampled down under Him, as straw is trampled down for the refuse heap.” Isaiah 25:10b.
Moab is an enemy of the Lord, and the enemies of the Christ, whose name is Jesus, are trampled under His feet. His enemies are made His footstool, as easily as straw is trampled down to be thrown out, as quoted, “…this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. Hebrews 10:12-13 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’ Luke 20:42-43 [quoted from Psalms 110:1]
“But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared…The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’” Matthew 13:26-27, 29-30
Today, we know the enemy of the Lord is the world government of the beast and its global culture. They serve the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. They exalt themselves above God. They feel no remorse and no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They oppose, ridicule, and manipulate the presence of the Holy Spirit as they detest the life of Holiness. The world fills with anti-social activity, with no empathy for others within their superficial charm. They will be trampled down and thrown into the eternal pits of hell. The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people. By what they are given to say and do they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.
“Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
“And He will spread out His hands in their midst as a swimmer reaches out to swim, and He will bring down their pride together with the trickery of their hands.” Isaiah 25:11.
Today’s atheistic culture of the beast, which is in every city of every nation worldwide, will have their pride brought down. They exalt themselves as the family of the beast and boast within their attitude, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelations 13:4 When our Lord Jesus returns, their pride will be turned to mourning, as quoted, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7
The trickery of their hands relates to the beast that speaks and lives through them, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 Click for a post on the “lawless one”.
The Lord spreads out His hands across the seven continents of the world, like a swimmer reaching out to swim. That is seen in the events of the Seven Trumpets, the Seven Thunders, and the Seven Plagues.
The Seven Trumpets are listed in Revelations 8, 9, and 11.
The Seven Thunders in Revelations 10.
The Seven Plagues in Revelations 16.
“The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, down to the dust.” Isaiah 25:12
The “fortress of the high fort” of the walls of the global culture of the beast is the power center of the beast. The Lord is going to bring it down within the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. It will be brought down to the dust, never to rise again. Global warming plays a role in bringing down the power center of the beast and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9.
The “fortress of the high fort” also refers to the power that is in the air and in space, and Satan is the governor of the power of the air, as quoted, “…the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience…” Ephesians 2:2
Ezekiel saw a vision of the space satellites, space station, and space shuttle, as described in Ezekiel 1.
Zachariah also saw a vision similar to what Ezekiel saw, as quoted, “This is their resemblance throughout the earth: Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket”; then he said, “This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth. Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. Satan has said in his heart: “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:13-14 He will be brought down, laid low, brought to the ground, to the dust…along with the space satellites, space stations, and space shuttles… along with the lead disc raised up between heaven and earth.
Satan sets himself up as God, within the temple of God [our body], by speaking and living through people by his beast. The beast does that with power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel, and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
