Birth pains of the return of Jesus Christ is felt through the global turmoil of this present heaven and earth.

“Therefore my loins are filled with pain; Pangs have taken hold of me, like the pangs of a woman in labor. I was distressed when I heard it; I was dismayed when I saw it.” Isaiah 21:3

Isaiah was distressed and dismayed upon hearing the word and seeing the vision that the Lord gave to him to speak and see about the collapse and devastation coming to the Babylonian Empire. His pain was like a woman in labor, the pain of giving birth to new life. The new birth would be the freedom of the Israelites from the Babylonian captivity, but would be a fearful and wonderful day at the same time. The war brought against Babylon would be distressing, and the cause of dismay because the Israelites were captives within Babylon. At the same time, to be survivors and to live in the new birth of freedom after being liberated, would be like the birth of new life.

The collapse of this present world system will be a terrifying day of distress, pain, and dismay. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are experiencing hardships, difficulties, heartaches, and suffering of all sorts, but that doesn’t even compare to what this present heaven and earth will be going through in the Day of the Lord and the return of our lord Jesus Christ. We have heard the word of God throughout the Bible and have seen the vision given to us, such as in Revelations. It will be a terrible day for those who choose to live for the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel, but a wonderful day for we who are waiting for the return of Jesus Christ. The terrible tribulation coming upon this earth are the birth pains before the creation of a new heaven and earth, the place of our eternal home in the New Jerusalem. “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

The Lord has spoken His word and shown us visions, as vividly described through the book of Revelations, concerning the devastation coming to this earth. The Lord is sending the events of the Seven trumpets, as described in chapters of Revelations 8, 9, and 11. The Lord is sending the events of the Seven Plagues, as described in Revelations 16. Global warming is already here, for all the world to see, and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9, and the global population still refuses to come to God through Jesus Christ, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” Revelation 16:8-9

“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelations 6:12-17

“Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth. Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath. Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great.” Revelations 16:17-21

“Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelations 11:15-19

“My heart wavered, fearfulness frightened me; The night for which I longed He turned into fear for me.” Isaiah 21:4

The night that we long for, as followers of Jesus Christ, is for the judgment of God to be unleashed on this world, which brings the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. While many are fearful of what the days will bring to us, we know this is the beginning of the end for the government of the beast, and our brothers and sisters of the future will be living through very terrifying times, the beast“…was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.” Revelations 13:15. Click for a post on the image of the beast. “I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.” Revelations 17:6 The global government of today and its global culture are empowered by the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. That beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

Our Lord Jesus says that He returns after the global tribulation to bring His children home with Him to eternal life, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Marks 24:29-31 Click for posts on Matthew 24.

“Prepare the table, set a watchman in the tower, eat and drink. Arise, you princes, anoint the shield!” Isaiah 21:5

“Prepare the table, set a watchman in the tower, eat and drink…” is the Spirit of the Lord describing what the leaders of the global government are doing nowadays and will be doing around the time of the Day of the Lord. They have set a watchman in the tower to watch over the global culture, the planet, and the eco-system, which is rooted in the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations. At the same time, they go on eating and drinking as if everything is normal. The Christ, whose name is Jesus, says, “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Matthew 24:37-39 Click here for the posts on Matthew 24.

The watchmen in the tower of the government of the beast sees global warming, and many other related troubling issues. They can read the face of the sky but are not able to read the signs of the times, “You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.” Matthew 16:3b. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9.

The Spirit of the Lord says to the leaders of the global government, “Arise, you princes, anoint the shield!” That is exactly what they will be doing during the Battle of Armageddon of the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-17. If they were able to discern the signs of the times, they would see that global warming is instrumental in destroying the power center of the beast, as described in Revelations 16:10-11. That will render the global government of the beast powerless, which will cause them to “anoint the shield” for the Battle of Armageddon to defend what is left of their global government within a lawless world. The destruction of this present heaven and earth follows that in the Day of the Lord and the return of Jesus Christ.

“Oh, my threshing and the grain of my floor! That which I have heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.” Isaiah 21:10
