“Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22

That is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 Look to God through Jesus Christ and we will be saved. There is no other through which we can be saved. “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Revelations 7:10

Jesus says to us, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” Matthew 24:14 Click for posts on Matthew 24. Today, the Gospel of Christ has reached all seven continents. Our born-again experience is the Gospel written on our heart. Our Lord Jesus says to us, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20

“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Romans 10:13

“I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, and will not return,” Isaiah 45:23a

Salvation through Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the promise that God made to Abraham to multiply his descendants to be as innumerable as the stars of the sky. When God made that promise, He swore to Himself to do it, “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” Hebrews 6:13-14

When the Spirit of the Lord says that His promise “will not return”, that means He doesn’t go back on His word, He doesn’t break His promises. The word of the Lord goes from His mouth in righteousness, meaning it is truth, well-intended, full of integrity, and sure to happen.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. ” John 14:1-3

“That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will take an oath.” Isaiah 45:23b.

“…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

That is the promise of the Lord, spoken in righteousness and sure to happen. Our Lord Jesus returns as the King of kings and Lord of Lords, “Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS…Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!” Revelations 19:15-16, Revelations 11:15

“He will say, ‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength.” Isaiah 45:24a.

As followers of Jesus Christ, we surely say that through Him is our righteousness and strength. We all have inherited sin within our human nature, but God considers us to be righteous by our belief in Him, “…the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” Romans 3:22-24

“But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,” Romans 4:5

At the Cross, where our Lord Jesus Christ gave His life to atone for sin, is where we find His righteousness. Whoever believes in Him will be saved. When Jesus comes into our life, His cross comes with Him. The Cross within us crucifies and puts to death the sin within us to make us righteous through Him. In the same way that Jesus was resurrected from the grave after three days, as our sins are put to death within us, His righteousness begins to be resurrected within us. The resurrection of Christ shows that through Him is eternal life and because He lives, we will live eternally with Him in the New Jerusalem.

“To Him men will come, and all will be ashamed who are incensed against Him.” Isaiah 45:24b.

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life…Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy, and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” Revelation 22:17, Isaiah 55:1

To be ashamed is to have a heart of repentance towards God through Jesus Christ, even though we once lived our life against Him. Paul, before his conversion, did terrible, terrible, deeds against the way of Jesus Christ, as he testifies to, “I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women, as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the council of the elders, from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished.” Acts 22:4-5 When Paul met Christ Jesus, he felt ashamed and repented and soon began his missionary journey and writing the letters we now read within the Bible. Paul’s conversion testimony is recorded in Acts 22:1-20.

If Paul can come to God through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit, then anyone can. As Paul says through the Holy Spirit, “For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 2 Corinthians 7:10-11

Mourner, wherever you are
Wherever you are, at the Cross there is room
Tell your burdened hearts
Your burdened heart, at the Cross there is room

Tell it in the Savior’s ear
Cast away your every fear
Only speak and He will hear

Hallelujah, everyone
Everyone can come to the Cross
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done
Everyone can come to the cross.

“In the Lord all the descendants of Israel will be justified, and will glory.” Isaiah 45:25

The descendants of Israel are the descendants of Abraham, and if we believe in Jesus then we are His descendants, “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29 Through the Cross of Jesus Christ, He atones for sin and the blessings of Abraham are given to us, “…that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:14

“Then He brought [Abraham] outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So will your descendants be.” And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:5-6 That promise to Abraham was fulfilled through our Lord Jesus Christ, “…as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name…” John 1:12

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [e]right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name…” John 1:12

We are the descendants of Israel, who live for God through Jesus Christ. People are only justified in the eyes of God by believing in Jesus as the Christ and Son of God. Christ Jesus says, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:37-39

There is Salvation is no other but Jesus Christ, “…that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:10-12

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon.
Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.\’”
Revelation 2:24-25
