The Lord will punish on high the host of the exalted ones, and on the earth the kings of the earth.

Isaiah 24:21-23

“It will come to pass in that day that the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, and on the earth the kings of the earth.” Isaiah 24:21

In the days of Isaiah, the stars and “heavenly powers” were served in place of God. The Spirit of the Lord, through Isaiah, promises to punish them, and to punish the kings of the earth.

Today, we know the power that exists in the air, within space, and throughout the lower airways, and Satan is the prince [governor] of the power of the air, “…the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience…” Ephesians 2:2 The prince of the power of the air works through the children of disobedience, the global culture of the beast. The Lord has His punishment in store for them. The kings of the earth governs over the peoples of the earth, in every city across the globe, and they will be punished as well.

The power of the air includes the space satellites, space station, and spaces shuttles, and Ezekiel sees all of that in his vision described in the post on Ezekiel 1.

Satan’s intent has always been to rule from above the heights of the clouds, to set himself up as God, to sit as ruler within the congregation [population] all across the earth, as quoted, “For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’” Isaiah 14:13-14

To set himself up as God within the population of the world, Satan uses his beast that has power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel. By doing that, he sets in the temple of God, our body, as if is God, and is the one  “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that. The kings of the earth derive their power from that beast, who rules over the people of all nations. The Lord will destroy the global culture, the governors over the people, and the entire government of the beast, as quoted, “…whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:8 Click here for a post on that.

The power of Satan in the air, between heaven and earth, is also described by Zachariah, through the Spirit of the Lord, as quoted, “This is their resemblance throughout the earth: Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket”; then he said, “This is Wickedness!” And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth. Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven.“ Zechariah 5:6-9 Click here for the full post on the woman and the basket.

The power center of the beast is plunged into darkness within the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. Global warming is instrumental in causing the destruction of the beast’s power center, and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. The global culture and global government of the beast will be powerless at that time, and then enters the Battle of Armageddon of the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-17.

“They will be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished.” Isaiah 24:22

“They will be gathered together” refers to the global culture of the beast, which exists in every city around the world, and with them the governors of cities, states, and nations of the beast. Today, we already see the “kings of nations” gathered together through the United Nations along with the global culture. They are all unified and gathered as one by the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel from city to city worldwide. Also, every home around the world has a television set…

The prison that the global culture and the governors are in is their bondage to the beast that imposes on them what to think, feel, say, and do. They are in bondage to sin as they live the life of atheism by denying God as the Creator, rejecting the need for the Christ, whose name is Jesus, and not wanting the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are. They live on the pathway of destruction, death, and darkness, whereas the Christ Jesus offers light, life, and Salvation, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2

The governors of cities around the world, and the global culture, are gathered together as the government of the beast, as the beast governs by giving them what to speak, do, think, and feel. After many days they will be punished, and gathered together for the day of the Battle of Armageddon, “Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord, “Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations to My assembly of kingdoms, to pour on them My indignation, all My fierce anger; all the earth will be devoured with the fire of My jealousy.” Zephaniah 3:8

“Then the moon will be disgraced and the sun ashamed; For the Lord of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem and before His elders, gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23

Today, Mount Zion is associated with Jerusalem, but that is the earthly Mt. Zion and Jerusalem. Our Lord reigns from the new Mount Zion and the New Jerusalem, as quoted, “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant…” Hebrews 12:22-24 For the Lord of hosts reigns on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem.

Who are the elders whom the Lord reigns in the presence of? In the book of Revelations, 24 elders are mentioned, as quoted, “Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.” Revelations 4:9-11 Also, “And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying…” Revelations 11:16

The twenty-four elders include one representative each from the Twelve Tribes of Israel, and each of the twelve Apostles. All believers will enter through one of the twelve gates of the New Jerusalem. Each gates has a name of one of the Twelve Tribes written on it, as quoted, “Also she had a great and high wall with twelve gates, and twelve angels at the gates, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel…” Revelations 21:12 As followers of Jesus Christ, we are the new Israel, belonging to one of the twelve tribes of the New Jerusalem. The twelve foundations of the New Jerusalem each has a name of one of the twelve Apostles, as quoted, “Now the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” Revelations 21:14

The moon will be disgraced and the sun ashamed is prophesied about all through the Bible, and the book of Revelations sums it up, “I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.” Revelations 6:12 “Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night.” Revelations 8:12

“Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned. The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.” Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelations 16:15-19

‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
