Idol will totter, social chaos arises, global culture loses heart.

“The burden against Egypt. Behold, the Lord rides on a swift cloud, and will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst.” Isaiah 19:1

The wrath of the judgment of God is against Egypt. All through the Bible Egypt is known for oppression and bondage of the Israelites as well as for arming other nations with weapons [including Israel as described in the post on Ezekiel 17]. Jesus has come to liberate us from the bondage and oppression of sin and death, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2 The Lord does not support faith in military power and might but wants us to trust in His Spirit through Jesus Christ, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

We live in a world where today’s culture, which is global, oppresses belief in God, suppresses the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and does not want the Holy Spirit to be part of who they are. They rely on the collective power and might of the global masses, that exist in every city around the world. Their reliance is on human efforts by the empowerment of the beast. The beast has power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel. They are empowered with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others, fabricated emotional responses, amazing physical abilities, etc. The beast they serve gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. By what they are given to say and do, they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

At the end of this world, the world is filled with demons, “She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelations 18:2 During that time, the Lord will return and He rides on a swift cloud, “Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.” Revelations 1:7-9

The idol of this world totters in the presence of the Christ, whose name is Jesus. That idol is the beast that has power over physiology and causes the oppression of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and relies on the collective force of the global culture. The power center of the beast will be plunged into darkness in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. No longer will the global government and its global culture be empowered with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, etc. The beast will be defeated in the presence of Jesus Christ, “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.” Revelations 19:19-21

The heart of today’s culture is the beast, but in the presence of Jesus the Christ, the heart of the global culture of the beast will melt in its midst.

“I will set Egyptians against Egyptians; Everyone will fight against his brother, and everyone against his neighbor,
city against city, kingdom against kingdom.” Isaiah 19:2

That will definitely be the global environment in the Day of the Lord, as described in Zachariah 14, “It will come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand…” Zachariah 14:13

Also, the Lord Jesus came 2026 years ago, not to bring reconciliation from person to person, but to bring reconciliation with God by the atonement of sin, “How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? ” John 5:44 Nowadays, just believing in God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, brings hostilities from person to person, within our own family, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5: 11-12 Our Lord Jesus made it clear that living for Him is more important than living for people, “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 10:21-22

We know that towards the Battle of Armageddon [Revelations 16:12-16], there will be cities against cities and nations against nations, on top of conflict and lawlessness from house to house.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and will not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24

“The spirit of Egypt will fail in its midst; I will destroy their counsel, and they will consult the idols and the charmers,
the mediums and the sorcerers.” Isaiah 19:3

The spirit of “Egypt” is the same spirit of the global government of the beast and its global culture because it is the spirit of the anti-Christ, “…and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. The spirit of the global government and its global culture will fail. It fails because Jesus Christ cannot be kept in bondage and oppressed, no more than the grave could hold Him bound, “…you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” Acts 2:23-24 The global culture fails because the empowerment of the beast is plunged into darkness, and its power and might is destroyed, and the beast is its source of counsel [by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel].

To consult idols, charmers, mediums, and sorcerers is to consult with every possible worldly advisor. They seek counsel from everything and everyone except God the Creator, Christ Jesus who makes atonement for sin, and the Holy Spirit who brings sanctification and Holiness. “They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.” Revelations 16:11

“And the Egyptians I will give into the hand of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them,” Says the Lord, the Lord of hosts.” Isaiah 19:4

The cruel master is Satan, the very opposite of the grace, mercy, forgiveness, light, life, and Salvation that God brings to us through Jesus Christ. Today, a fierce king rules over the global population through the beast that opposes the testimony of Jesus and sets itself up as God, within our body [the temple of God], as described in the post on 2 Thessalonians 2:4. “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, a king will arise, having a fierce countenance, who understands sinister schemes. His power will be mighty, but not by his own power; He will destroy fearfully, and will prosper and thrive; He will destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.” Daniel 8:23-24 That is described in the posts from Daniel 8:1-14 and Daniel 8:15-27, which is found in the table of contents of Daniel.

Satan, the cruel master, will be cast into eternal hell, “The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” Revelations 20:10 The global culture will be cast into hell with their master, Satan, and with the beast that they serve, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself will also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Revelations 14:9-11
