“But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; and indeed you do so toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, that you increase more and more…” 1 Thessalonians 4:9-10
When it comes to showing kindness, goodwill, and love to fellow followers of Jesus Christ, our Lord cherishes all who do so, as quoted, “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10
We live in a world today that intends to keep the growth of Christianity stagnant, which involves keeping brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ from fellowshipping together. We live in a world where love has gone cold because today’s culture serves the beast that gives them what to feel, speak, do, and think. The intent of the atheistic culture is to drive the way of Jesus Christ into extinction, as described in the post on Revelations 12. Daniel also spoke of the destruction of fellowship in the love of Christ when he spoke about the bear with three ribs dangling from its mouth, as described in the post on Daniel 7:5.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“ ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.…I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
“…that you also aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.” 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
Those who are “outside” refers to those who do not believe God the Creator, rejects Jesus as the Christ and Son of God, and do not want the Holy Spirit to be part of their life. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8 The “him” in that verse is the beast of the image and mark of the beast.
“If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men…Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled…be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.” Romans 12:18, Hebrews 12:14-15, Titus 3:1-2
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:17-18
