The Day of the Lord, a day of destruction, terror, and anguish from the Almighty.

“Wail, for the day of the Lord is near; it will come like destruction from the Almighty.” Isaiah 13:6

The Day of the Lord comes like destruction, and is associated with the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Day of the Lord is described in the post on Zachariah 14. Here is an excerpt, “Behold, the day of the Lord is coming…I will gather all the nations to battle…then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations…thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints…and this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike…their flesh will dissolve while they stand on their feet, their eyes will dissolve in their sockets, and their tongues will dissolve in their mouths…it will come to pass in that day that a great panic from the Lord will be among them. Everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor’s hand…and it will come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts…and the Lord will be King over all the earth. In that day it will be—“The Lord is one, and His name one.” Zachariah 14:1-3, 5, 12-13,16, 9

The signs of the coming of the day of the Lord is for all the world to see. Global warming is here and is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. Global warming sets the chain-of-events into motion for the day of the Lord. Global warming is instrumental in destroying the power center of the beast, which happens in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11. That renders the global government and its global culture powerless, which brings the Battle of Armageddon in the Sixth Plague of Revelations 16:12-16 Then comes the destruction of the earth in the Seventh Plague of Revelations 16:17-21 and the return of Jesus Christ when the Seventh Trumpet sounds of Revelations 11:15-18.

Also, the beast is here that gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak. The image of the beast is given breath/life to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. That is done by the power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel. By what they say and do they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast.

“Because of this, all hands will go limp, every heart will melt with fear. Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.” Isaiah 13:7-8

“Faces aflame” refers to the intense, visible reaction of the global culture when they experience the sudden, overwhelming terror, panic, and agony due to the Day of the Lord. It signifies a flushed, frantic appearance—often compared to faces in nightmare or agony—caused by fear, shame, or despair. 

Hands going limp and hearts melting with fear describes fainting or a heart attack, as our Lord Jesus says, “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth.” Luke 21:25-26

Also, hands go limp, not being able to do anything about the Day of the Lord coming upon them. Hearts melt with fear, losing their zeal for the global culture of the beast. Their pain will be like a woman in labor as they look at one another in horror.
