Mount Zion, our Heavenly home, and world’s use of geoengineering to combat the Fourth Plague of global warming.

Isaiah 4:2-6

“In that day the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious; And the fruit of the earth will be excellent and appealing for those of Israel who have escaped.” Isaiah 4:2

The Branch of the Lord is everyone of us who live for God through Jesus Christ. The branches of the Jewish culture have been cut off and we are the branches grafted in as those of Israel, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith.” Romans 11:19-20 We are beautiful and glorious in the eyes of the Lord and the fruit of the Holy Spirit is exalted and appealing for us of “Israel” who have escaped His judgment into eternal life, “For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham…if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Romans 9:6-7, Galatians 3:29

Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit…” John 15:5

“In that day” refers to the time around the Battle of Armageddon and the Day of the Lord refers to the desolation of this present heaven and earth, and the creation of a new heaven and earth, where the eternal New Jerusalem is. Our Lord Jesus returns around that time. In that day, the Branch of the Lord will be beautiful and glorious, referring to the eternal redemption of we who believe in Jesus Christ.

What is the escape of the earthly Israel in that day? That refers to those of Israel who escape, or survive, the Battle of Armageddon, as described in the post on Ezekiel 39 about the day after. A remnant of Israel will accept Jesus as their Christ and Lord in that day. Remember, the Battle of Armageddon comes in the Sixth Plague [as described in Revelations 16:12-16].There is still time remaining on this earth between the Sixth Plague and the return of Jesus Christ. The destruction of this present heaven and earth happens in the Seventh Plague and Jesus returns when the Seventh Trumpet sounds in Revelations 11:15-18.

“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-13

“And it will come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem.” Isaiah 4:3

Remaining in Zion and Jerusalem refers to abiding in Jesus Christ who gives eternal life. We are Holy in the eyes of the Lord. Zion and Jerusalem refers to our eternal home, the New Jerusalem and City of God. Who are those recorded as the living in Jerusalem? The living refers to everyone who are alive in God by their faith in Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he will live. And whoever lives and believes in Me will never die…” John 11:25-26  Our names are recorded in the Book of Life, “…whose names are in the Book of Life”…. Philippians 4:3

The Holy Spirit in us is our guarantee of eternal life, so remaining in Him is our eternal Salvation and Holiness, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14. We are the purchased possession, purchased by the blood of our Lord Jesus that He shed on the Cross to atone for our sin. Our redemption comes when we are resurrected from the dead and given a new eternal body.

“When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning…” Isaiah 4:4

Everyone who has the filth of our sin washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ are the “…daughters of Zion…”, the children of God. “What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus, what can make me whole again? Nothing but the
blood of Jesus.” [Church Song] The spirit of judgment and burning is the conviction of the Holy Spirit working within us against sin. Judgment and burning is what does the work of sanctification within us, to purge ugly attitudes, words, and behaviors from us. Holiness is being worked in us.

Because the people of the earthly Jerusalem/Israel rejects Jesus Christ who gives the Holy Spirit, they will go through judgment and burning on this earth. So far, Israel has been in 19 wars since the State of Israel was established in 1948, that is a lot of blood. They will go through the devastation of the Battle of Armageddon before the “blood of Jerusalem” is purged and a remnant comes to Jesus as the Christ and Son of God.

“…then the Lord will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. And there will be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and rain. Isaiah ” Isaiah 4:5-6

The cloud by day and the fire by night is mentioned in Exodus 13:21-22. That is how the Lord was leading the Israelites to the promised land. Exodus describes the “pillar of fire” and “pillar of cloud”. That also symbolizes how the Lord leads us through this world into the eternal promised land of the New Jerusalem. The picture below is from February 6, 2026. Which is what a “pillar of fire” would look like. The cloud is there also.

Mount Zion is the eternal New Jerusalem, and every one who believes Jesus is the Christ and Son of God is the dwelling place of Mount Zion. That’s because we are the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit in us is the guarantee of our inheritance of eternal life, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…” Ephesians 1:13-14 We are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit, a tabernacle of the Lord’s shade and refuge.

The assemblies of Mount Zion include anywhere where two or more followers of Jesus Christ come together. In that light, the cloud and smoke by day and the shining flame of fire by night is for each individual Believer as well as every congregation of His followers. The cloud and smoke symbolizes comfort within the soul and spirit in these days of heated affliction. The shining flame of fire symbolizes warmth and light of the Holy Spirit in these dark days where love has gone cold. The fiery trials we face in this cold and dark world comes through the beast that has power over physiology to give people what to speak, do, think, and feel. By what those of the culture of the beast are given to say and do they are hostile to belief in God, despise those living for Jesus Christ, and oppose embracing the Holy Spirit. In Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, there is shade from the heat…and refuge and shelter from the storm.

In today’s times, global warming is a major concern for the global government and its global culture. The worldly scientists are beginning to come up with ways to build a “tabernacle” to shade the planet from the sun’s heat and to counter the storms. They are using geoengineering to try to build a refuge and shelter from the many effects of global warming. Here’s a quote from the internet, “Geoengineering, also known as climate engineering or climate intervention, refers to deliberate, large-scale interventions in the Earth’s natural systems to counteract human-caused climate change.” They are trying to create shade from the heat and refuge from the storms.

The global government and its global culture refer to global warming as being “human-caused”. However, the word of God makes it clear that global warming is the Fourth Plague [Revelations 16:8-9] and repentance from unbelief and saying “Yes!” to Jesus Christ is the answer to the problem, “Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelations 16:8-9.
