“But Paul went down, fell on him, and embracing him said, “Do not trouble yourselves, for his life is in him.” Now when he had come up, had broken bread and eaten, and talked a long while, even till daybreak, he departed. And they brought the young man in alive, and they were not a little comforted.” Acts 20:10-12
Eutychus fell from the third story window and was dead, as described in the previous section of Acts 20:9. Then, Paul went down to him and covered the young man with his own body and the life of Eutychus returned. The young man was returned to the fellowship alive, which was more than a little comforting. Eutychus was resurrected from the dead around midnight, and after that everyone returned upstairs and continued breaking bread and talking about Jesus Christ. This continued on until the break of day, then Paul departed [and was brought to Miletus].
Today, everybody globally is exposed to the power that the beast has over physiology to give people what to feel, how to behave, what to think, and what to speak. Christians are exposed to these Satanic attacks as well. The Satanic goal is to give breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through everyone. The expectation is for people to be groomed to the mark, name, and number of the beast by what they are given to say and do. That involves denying God as the Divine Creator, rejecting the need for Jesus Christ, and fighting against the presence of the Holy Spirit. As follower of Jesus Christ, we are not willing to blaspheme our Lord and Savior.
Some Christians will fall from living for Jesus Christ, like Eutychus who fell dead from three stories up, “And some of them of understanding will fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.” Daniel 11:35 Click for a post on Daniel 11:31-35. There will be other Christians, like Paul, who revive the faith of fallen comrades, “Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3 Click for a post on Daniel 11:40-12:3 On top of spiritual resurrection, our Lord Jesus will raise His faithful from the grave into eternal life, “…those who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:2
Our Lord Jesus is the star of daybreak, the bright and morning Star, “I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” Revelations 22:16 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.” John 14:19
“Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” Luke 24:1-7
From Troas, Pul would be brought through several cities and then have a stay in Miletus.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
