“And I said: “Hear now, O heads of Jacob, and you rulers of the house of Israel: Is it not for you to know justice? You who hate
good and love evil…” Micah 3:1-2a.

The heads of Jacob, or rather the rulers of the house of Israel, refers to the rulers over the State of Israel since 1948 to today. The heads of Israel should certainly be the ones to know justice, being how the word of God was entrusted to them from the beginning, including the Ten Commandments. However, God sees them as those who hate good and love evil. A lot of this has to do with the fact they rely on military might and power instead of relying on the Spirit of God through Jesus Christ, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 Also, to see how Israel hates good and loves evil, read the post on Micah 2:8-11.

Today, each ruler of the State of Israel has used their influence and authority for war. The Israelis have been in 18 wars, with 14 Prime Ministers, since the State of Israel was established in 1948, and even a war in 1948. Below is a list of those wars, dates, and the Prime Minister at the time. “Look, the princes of Israel: each one has used his arm to shed blood in you.” Ezekiel 22:6

“Who strip the skin from My people, and the flesh from their bones, who also eat the flesh of My people, flay their skin from them, break their bones, and chop them in pieces like meat for the pot, like flesh in the caldron.” Micah 3:2b-3

With the non-stop wars involving the State of Israel, it requires no imagination at all of how the Israeli citizens are suffering under their rulers. The verses above are certainly describing the Israeli citizens in a spiritual sense. Under the war weary State of Israel, the people are growing sick and tired of it, like having their skin stripped from them and their muscles torn from their bones. The rulers of Israel are eating their citizens alive with the constant strain of war, filleting their skin, breaking their bones, chopping them into pieces, and throwing them into a pot like meat thrown into a stew. Not to mention how this is driving the Israeli citizens to riot and protest for change by demanding conformity to the will of the United Nations and away from reliance on God through Jesus Christ.

This might sound quite terrible, but the verses above are probably quite literal regarding the Jewish people in the days of Micah. When Micah was bringing this prophecy against the Jewish people, they were serving foreign gods, which required human sacrifices. In the post on Micah 1:1 we read where king Ahaz sacrificed his son into the fire. Also, this next verse is more than blunt and more than what some may be able to bear to read, “And she answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.’ So we boiled my son, and ate him. And I said to her on the next day, ‘Give your son, that we may eat him’; but she has hidden her son.” 2 Kings 6:28-29 These children were literally filleted, chopped into pieces, and thrown into a pot as described in Micah 3:2b-3.

“Jesus said, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
