The battle at the time of the end; The Battle of Armageddon.
“And at the time of the end will the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north will come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he will enter into the countries and will overflow and pass over.” Daniel 11:40
The battle mentioned in those verses happens at the end of time, so we can refer to this as being the Battle of Armageddon. This is a time when the king of the South makes aggressive moves towards the king of the North. The king of the North comprises the global government, its military, and the global culture. In that light, the king of the North comes at the king of the South with everything he has. The king of the North overwhelms many countries. “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.” Revelations 16:13-14
This is said about the king of the North, “…yet he will come to his end, and none will help him.” Daniel 11:45
We might wonder how the Battle of Armageddon can happen in a world dominated by the “Vile Person” who governs through what people do, say, feel, and think. What happens in the Fifth Plague explains that {the Battle of Armageddon is the Sixth Plague]. The “Vile Person” sits as “king” on the “…throne of the beast…”, which is the power center of the global government and its global culture. In the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11, the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness. This means the global government and the global culture will become powerless. There will be no more empowerment with uncanny knowledge, extraordinary skills and talents, uncanny authority over others, heightened intuition, amazing physical abilities and accomplishments, convincing emotional responses, etc. All that remains is conventional warfare, with bombs, guns, sticks, and stones.
In the powerlessness of the world government, the global population begins to revolt, rebel, riot, and lawlessness is everywhere. They are able to revolt against their oppressors because they are free from the entity controlling their thoughts, feelings, actions, and words. With that, the loyal governors of the world government will plan to put down the revolt the “old-fashioned” way, which makes way for “kings” to rally for war. They will want to go to war to try to salvage what’s left of global system of the beast.
Also, global warming is instrumental in bringing the collapse of the power center of the beast. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9. The more powerful the United Nations become as the one global government the hotter and more intense the effect of global warming becomes. We see how global warming comes, then the power center of the global government is destroyed, then the Battle of Armageddon comes. Then Jesus Christ returns when the Seventh Trumpet sounds, Revelations 11:15.
“Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” Revelations 16:15
Israel will suffer brutality in the Battle of Armageddon, but the enemies of Israel are spared.
“He will enter also into the glorious land, and many countries will be overthrown but these will escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.” Daniel 11:41
In the final battle of this earth, which we refer to as the Battle of Armageddon, the king of the North will enter into the “Glorious Land”. The “Glorious Land” definitely refers to Israel because the Battle of Armageddon will affect the State of Israel very much, as described in the post on the “Day After” from Ezekiel 39. Many countries will be overthrown in the Middle East, but a few will escape, such as “Edom”, “Moab”, and the prominent people of “Ammon”. To this day, those countries are known to be contrary to the will of God and enemies of Israel. During the Battle of Armageddon, the countries that escape being blown to smithereens are countries that are favorable to the atheistic global government. They might escape the wrath of the “king of the North” but they won’t escape the wrath of God when it is all over.
The “Glorious Land” also refers to our body as the territory of the Holy Spirit. During the Battle of Armageddon, the military forces of the global government will be aggressive to overpower anyone who desires to live for God through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. This will be a time of global persecution and the killing of Christians. Although the power center of the beast suffers destruction in the Fifth Plague, before the Battle of Armageddon, people who choose Jesus Christ over the powerless global government will be persecuted and killed. No longer will the entity have power over physiology to attack faith in Jesus Christ, but the attacks on Christians will come the old-fashioned way.
Wealth and resources seized by global military force in an embattled, rebellious and lawless world.
“He will stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt will not escape. But he will have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians will be at his steps. ” Daniel 11:42-43
The “land of Egypt” will not escape in the time of the Battle of Armageddon. The “land of Egypt” symbolizes a land that has always been involved in oppression, idol worship, and rebellion. Today, the “land of Egypt” consists of those who are living for themselves in the desires of the flesh and material wealth. They are not loyal to the global government but only to themselves and now are considered a threat to the powerless global government [as described in the previous section]. They will not escape the brutality and death coming at the hands of the military of the global government.
In the Battle of Armageddon, the global government will still have the advantage of a powerful military, although they lost being empowered by the entity giving them and the global culture what to do, say, think, and feel [as described in the previous section]. Therefore, they attempt to keep power the old-fashioned conventional way with direct control over resources and riches of the world. This requires a lot of force, brutality, and death. Whatever is left of the global government at this time will be used to seize the wealth and resources of countries. They are trying to gain control of a rebellious world that is no longer in the grips of the entity that has power over physiology.
More global rebellion and the end comes for the global government.
“But tidings out of the east and out of the north will trouble him: therefore, he will go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many. And he will plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious Holy Mountain: yet he will come to his end, and none will help him.” Daniel 11:44-45
After executing brutal and merciless attacks on countries around the world, including Israel [as described in the previous sections of this post], the “king of the North” has more problems to contend with. News from the “east” and from the “north” causes him distress and he goes out with great fury to destroy and utterly overwhelm many. In the Battle of Armageddon, the “king” of the global military is in way over his head and drowning in the rebel forces coming against him. When the “king” of the global military hears news that forces from the east and north are rallying against him, he becomes furious. He mobilizes his military with great fury to destroy and utterly do away with as many as he can. The brutality, persecution, and death of the Battle of Armageddon is horror and terror.
Trying to play God during the time of the Battle of Armageddon isn’t going to work anymore. The power center of the beast will be plunged into darkness and destroyed, with no more ability to empower people with what to speak, do, say, and think. This happens in the Fifth Plague of Revelations 16:10-11 The global government will attempt to play God and exert power and authority by establishing a center of authority “between the seas in the glorious Holy Mountain”. This is an attempt to separate the seas of the population of the world, to keep them separate and divided. No longer is it possible to unite them under the entity that once synchronized them as a global culture, that power center has been plunged into darkness.
Even with the attempt to keep people divided and separated, to squelch any further rebellion that may arise, the forces against the global government are too strong. No one will lift a finger to help the powerless global government. The end comes for the “king” of the global government and its global culture.
Global trouble as never before experienced on this earth and the return of Jeus Christ.
“And at that time will Michael stand up, the great prince which stands for the children of your people: and there will be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people will be delivered, every one that will be found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1
Daniel writes the words spoken to him, and the words spoken to him includes “your people”. Daniel’s people were the Israelites [the Jewish people]. Today, we know that the “Jewish people” are those who live for the promise of God through Jesus Christ, as quoted, “For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” Romans 9:6-9 “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29
Also, the “your people” are defined as those whose names are “written in the book”. This is the Book of Life of the Lamb {Jesus Christ], as quoted “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelations 13:8. The “him” in this verse is the “Vile Person” [as described in Daniel 11:21-24], or rather the beast of the image and mark of the beast.
At the end of time, during the time of the Battle of Armageddon of the Sixth Plague, this is a time of trouble around the world, like there has never been since there has been a nation on this earth. As Jesus Christ said, “For in those days there will be tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God created until this time, nor ever shall be” Mark 13:19
The enormous global tribulation is a result of the Holy Spirit being removed from this world, which happens because people reject Jesus Christ who gives the Holy Spirt. Jesus said, “…when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:8 The Holy Spirit restrains lawlessness, and when He is removed from this world, there is going to be trouble like this world has never ever experienced before, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Click here for a post on the “lawless one”.
While the Battle of Armageddon is the Sixth Plague, our Lord Jesus returns when the Seventh Trumpet sounds of Revelations 11: 15. At the end of time, when the world is filled with trouble like never before, Jesus returns “…and at that time your people will be delivered, every one that will be found written in the book.” Daniel 12:1 “And will God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8 “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9
When our Lord Jesus returns, the resurrection from the dead of those who lived for God through Jesus will happen, and they will meet with Him in the sky. During the time of His return, there will also be Christians alive on this earth, and they will also be brought up to the sky to be with Jesus. The resurrected Christians, and those still alive, will all meet together at the same time with Jesus in the sky. This all happens when the Seventh Trumpet sounds, at the end of all things, as quoted,
“For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For those who believe that they will be brought up to be with Jesus before the tribulation on this earth, there is this: All you would need to do is keep an eye on Chrisitan graves, when the graves are emptied and you see them being resurrected from the dead and meeting Jesus in the Sky, then you will know that sometime in the future you are next to be brought up to Jesus. The thing about that is there is no third coming of Jesus Christ to pick up those He left behind after He returns the second time. There is no eighth trumpet.
To see a glimpse into the nature of the global tribulation read about the Seven Seals, the seventh Seal and first four Trumpets, the fifth and sixth Trumpet, the seventh Trumpet, and the Seven Plagues.
Resurrection and the coming judgment.
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12:2
Everyone will be resurrected from the dead, whether Believers or non-Believers. We who live for God by our faith in Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, will be resurrected to everlasting life. Those who reject God, Jesus Christ, and fight against the Holy Spirit will be resurrected to shame and everlasting contempt [hell].
“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 20:11-15
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“Those who are wise will shine Like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” Daniel 12:3
The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and the fear of the Lord brings us to faith in Jesus Christ to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. We desire to share our born-again experience, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ written on our heart. We hope that someone is brought to the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
