Global Democracy is not the Promised Land, Paradise Comes through Jesus Christ

Humans Cannot Bring about the Promised Land.

“For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.” Hebrews 4:8

Joshua led the Israelites into the promised land, but that earthly territory isn’t the promised land that God has for us. Today, leaders from every nation around the world are promising a global partnership, a promised land built with human hands. That “global democracy” is not going to provide the world with rest, peace, or any other such promises falsely made. What they are building is rooted in the power of darkness through the beast that gives people what to say, do, think, and feel. Humanism is the fig leaf worn by those who live and govern by the empowerment of the beast. The sun’s intense heat, known as “global warming of the Fourth Plague of Revelations 16:8-9,” is instrumental is destroying the power center of the beast, as described in Revelations 16:10-11. After that comes the Battle of Armageddon of Revelations 16:12-17. There is no rest in this present world system, and salvation through a government is not found on this earth. There is another day coming, and that is the promised land of the eternal New Jerusalem in the paradise of God, which comes through Jesus Christ.

Entering God’s Paradise is by Faith in Jesus Christ.

“Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.  For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them,  not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” Hebrews 4:1-2

As stated in the verse above, the Gospel was preached to the people of the Old Testament, the Gospel is to live by faith in the word of God. “For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Romans 4:3 As said about the Israelites of the Exodus, “…and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. But with most of them God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.” 1 Corinthians 10:4-5

We only need to believe in Jesus, “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16

The proponents of an earthly promised land are hearing and repeating all the right words to describe their hopes. What they hear and repeat are words of love, support, equity, democracy, peace, global family, etc. but they are not mixed with faith in God through Jesus Christ. As it is written, the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” They build their promised land with faith in human rationale and discard faith in the Gospel of Christ. Humanism, the fig leaf worn by those who live for the beast, is described in this way, “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems:”

The promise of entering God’s rest in the eternal New Jerusalem is in us through the Holy Spirit by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14 We are the purchased possession, purchased by the blood Jesus shed on the Cross to atone for our sin. Our eternal redemption comes when we are resurrected from the grave and receive an eternal body.

If we live for the beast that gives what to say, do, think, and feel instead of allowing Christ to guide our ways then we lose the inheritance of eternal life, “let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.“

God Has Rested from His Work of Creation.

“For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So, I swore in My wrath, ‘they will not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way:  “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and again in this place:  “They will not enter My rest.” Hebrews 4:3-5

We who believe in Jesus Christ enter into His rest, but as He has said, those who fall short of believing the Gospel of Christ will not enter that rest.

There will be no rest in this world for those who reject Jesus Christ while trying to create the utopia of a “global democracy.” The universe that God has created is-what-it-is and there is no repairing it since sin entered into the world, “So, I swore in My wrath, ‘they will not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.” Rest comes for believers, through Jesus Christ, and our inheritance is the new heaven and new earth of the eternal New Jerusalem, “For we who have believed do enter that rest.”

God’s work of creation has been finished from the very beginning of human existence and trying to improve it for a better habitat for humanity is not going to happen. “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; and again in this place: “They will not enter My rest.” Those who live by the ideals of humanism, believe that the collective gathering of the global population is enough to save the planet and the humanity. They will find no rest in establishing a global culture with a global constitution to guide them. Jesus Christ invites us, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Today is the Day to Open Our Heart to God.

“Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience, 
again He designates a certain day, saying in David, “Today,” after such a long time, as it has been said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” Hebrews 4:6-7

God’s voice is not heard coming through those who are trying to establish the promised land on this earth. That’s because they have surrendered their thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors to the beast that has power over physiology. Their body has become the seat of government for the beast instead of being the home of the Holy Spirit as God created us to be. They are rebellious against God and need to enter into the rest of God by acknowledging Jesus as the Christ and their Lord. “Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience.”

Today is the day to soften our heart to God’s voice, to live for the eternal hope given to us through Jesus Christ, “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
