  • When a major politician within the government of the beast lifts up God in the name of Jesus Christ.

When a major politician within the government of the beast lifts up God in the name of Jesus Christ.

“Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you. I thought it good to declare the signs and wonders that the Most High God has worked for me. How great are His signs, and how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation.” Daniel 4:1-3

The verse, Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all peoples, nations, and languages that dwell in all the earth:” reveals to us that this is a proclamation written on something and made available for everyone to read. Or rather, made available for someone to read aloud to people in all sectors of the Babylonian Empire.

Nebuchadnezzar was definitely appealing to the Israelite population by quoting from the Psalms, “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations.” Psalms 145:13 Also, just talking about the mighty wonders of God and His great signs would immediately grab the attention of the of the Israelites. The Israelites would have received those words and marveled. Would Nebuchadnezzar order their release from captivity? Would they finally be free after years living as captives within the Babylonian Empire? Their expectations were high as Nebuchadnezzar put forth smooth words and flatteries in uplifting the God that they served.

Nebuchadnezzars statement would raise a lot of red flags and questions within the leadership and general culture of the Babylonians. Plots against him would have begun to circulate. The same as what would happen if a global leader began to praise God the Creator and Christ Jesus in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Envision how we followers of Jesus Christ would feel if a global leader issued a proclamation beginning with praise to Jesus Christ and lifting up God as the Creator. And then knowing that the proclamation would be made public in every city around the world, for all of the culture of the beast to hear. Even so, we know that the global government does not surrender to God through Jesus Christ. The end of the reign of the government of the beast comes with great tribulation, destruction, lawlessness, and violence.

Was Nebuchadnezzar saying good-bye to everyone, knowing that living for the God of the Israelites, and no longer representing the Babylonian Empire would be his demise? After all, after the proclamation of his conversion to the Living God, nothing more is heard from him, and his spiritually corrupt son Belteshazzar rules in his place. That is seen by reading the verses of Daniel 4:34 through 5:4 Nebuchadnezzar was restored to his throne after his conversion, just a very short time before his son sat on the throne, but then…the end…The proclamation Nebuchadnezzar made was probably about the last thing he did while still holding power. The Israelites were never released from their captivity until Cyrus conquered Babylon, which was about 23 years after Nebuchadnezzar passed.

Today, if a global leader shared a testimony of coming to his senses to live for God, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit, their life would be over as a leader within the government of the beast. Their life would be over…period. They would be seen as committing treason, sabotaging the government, and inciting a rebellion.

lllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

“I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at rest in my house, and flourishing in my palace.” Daniel 4:4

While in good standing within the glory of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar had it all, money, possessions, physical comforts, authority, and social approval. Today, those who live in favor with the “democratic” society of the mark of the beast have the things that this world provides. They have worldly peace in their earthly prosperity. Spiritual peace is what they don’t have,

“I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts on my bed and the visions of my head troubled me.” Daniel 4:5

The prosperity and rest that this world provides does nothing to bring the rest God gives through Jesus Christ. When Nebuchadnezzar humbled himself with a lowly heart and lifted up the glory of God, in opposition to the glory of Babylon, he was experiencing this truth, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Today, God appeals to us to humble ourselves with a lowly heart to receive the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. He wants us to let go of the need for a self-esteem boost, to let go of the pride of this life which relates to money, possessions, authority, and social esteem.

iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

“Therefore I issued a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known to me the interpretation of the dream.” Daniel 4:6

Before the conversion of Nebuchadnezzar, he tried to solve spiritual issues with the wisdom of this world. This is like a major politician telling the world through television, newspapers, and every possible news outlet that he made a law to solve global problems with worldly wisdom.

Today, the world is denying God, discarding the need for Jesus Christ, and trampling on the Holy Spirit in exchange for solving the world’s problems by embracing humanism rooted in the mark of the beast. The global government of the beast is based on using human rationale and tossing out spiritual beliefs. That human rationale includes the thing that is able to form what we think, feel, and do. It is not spiritual.

“Then the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers came in, and I told them the dream; but they did not make known to me its interpretation.” Daniel 4:7

Worldly wisdom is not the answer to spiritual distress. The global tribulation happens under the global government of the beast because they discard the need to be reconciled to God by the remission of sin through Jesus Christ.

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:5-7

“But at last Daniel came before me (his name is Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god; in him is the Spirit of the Holy God), and I told the dream before him, saying:” Daniel 4:8

Nebuchadnezzar wrote the world a letter telling them that he turned to Daniel to solve a problem that the wise and educated men from the glory of Babylon could not solve. Above all the glory of Babylon, the Spirit of the Holy God was acknowledged to have the answers needed.

Today, it would be like a major politician going public to let everyone know that the worldly wisdom within the global “democratic” society of the mark of the beast is a failure. It would be a rejection of the thing that is able to form thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and feelings. It would be a global confession that Jesus Christ is Lord while believing in the heart that God raised Him from the dead.

Nebuchadnezzar said to Daniel, “Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, because I know that the Spirit of the Holy God is in you, and no secret troubles you, explain to me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation.” Daniel 4:9

The reason Danial was called the chief of magicians is because the Babylonian government classified spiritual things as being a type of magic. Like today, Christianity is classified by society as nothing more than philosophy, philanthropy, etc. However, the Bible reveals the intentions of the heart of the global government.

Christians know the heart’s intent of world leaders is to form a global government. That involves establishing a global economy, establishing a global constitution rooted in the mark of the beast, requiring all people to live by the mark of the beast, etc. They have already thrown out the Gospel of Christ from the churches and are setting themselves up as God in the temple of God, our body. “… it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 It is setting itself up as God within people by the power it has to shape what a person thinks, feels, and does. It is synchronizing people to the mark of the beast.

“These were the visions of my head while on my bed:” Daniel 4:10a

Nebuchadnezzar is about to share with the world the disturbing prophetic visions that were swirling around in his head while in bed. I think lying in bed at night is when a lot of distressing thoughts pop into the mind to put emotions into turmoil. It’s obviously from the thing that has the power to form thoughts and emotions to afflict the Spirit of Christ. However, the visions Nebuchadnezzar had was from the Spirit of God. Wouldn’t it be great to hear a major world leader talk about the prophetic visions of God instead of glorifying the visions held for the “democratic” global government?

“I was looking, and behold, a tree in the midst of the earth, and its height was great.” Daniel 4:10b.

Today, the global government of the beast is in the midst of the earth as the world is dominated by those who live for the mark of the beast. That is an extremely high tree! “The tree grew and became strong; Its height reached to the heavens, and it could be seen to the ends of all the earth.” Daniel 4:11 Today, the global government is very strong and getting stronger everyday as it is on all seven continents and in every nation. The protests and riots around the world are to push more power and authority towards the global government. They are challenging the laws, constitutions, and cultures of nations to demand conformity to the agenda of the global “democratic” society.

“Its leaves were lovely, its fruit abundant, and in it was food for all. The beasts of the field found shade under it, the birds of the heavens dwelt in its branches, and all flesh was fed from it.” Daniel 4:12

Abundant fruit, food for all, and peace is what the world leaders are promising through the global economy. Wealthy nations like the United States are demanded to change their economic structure to serve the purposes of the world’s economy.

Today, there is constant financial turmoil as nations, including the USA, are restructuring to integrate into the world’s treasury and less for independent prosperity. At the same time, they discard the notion of sin under the guise of inclusion, love, support, democracy, etc. They welcome everyone into the branches of their tree, except for those who warn against the “democratic” society of the mark of the best and embrace the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

“I saw in the visions of my head while on my bed, and there was a watcher, a holy one, coming down from heaven.” Daniel 4:13 God sees how the world follows after the beast, everyone except those who live for Jesus, whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. “But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand. The helpless entrusts himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none.” Psalms 10:14-15

“He cried aloud and said thus: ‘Chop down the tree and cut off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit. Let the beasts get out from under it, And the birds from its branches.” Daniel 4:14 The global system of beast collapses economically as well as socially. Revelation 18 describes it in detail, and these verse are very telling, “Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelation 18: 2 and also “Come out of her, my people,’ so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues. for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.” Revelation 18:4

People are considered to be a specie of animal, but we can wake-up to God.

“Nevertheless leave the stump and roots in the earth, bound with a band of iron and bronze, in the tender grass of the field.” Daniel 4:15a. No matter how destitute we become in the Spirit of Christ, the roots of our soul will always live and be waiting to be watered with the Water of Life (Jesus Christ). The stump will always be preserved with a band around it and within the tender grass of our soul. That stump with roots will assure that we can always return to God through Jesus Christ at any time.

Nebuchadnezzar is sharing his testimony of coming to God, so his dream is as much about him losing all the glory of prosperity, power, prestige and authority as it is about the collapse of the Babylonian empire. Nebuchadnezzar was dethroned, came to God in his time of destitution, then went back to govern over the Babylonian empire. However, not one word is heard from him since his conversion as he died of a mysterious illness, probably poisoned. His totally corrupt son, Belshazzar, replaced him on the throne.

Today, the thing that has power to form what we think, feel, and do wants to keep the Gospel of Christ to the form of a stump. It wants to be the new life that springs forth from the roots of the stump as it sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it were God. It synchronizes a person to the mark of the beast as it sits on top of the stump where Christian life should blossom.

“Let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let him graze with the beasts on the grass of the earth “Let his heart be changed from that of a man, let him be given the heart of a beast, and let seven times pass over him.”” Daniel 4:15b-16 The dew from heaven sitting on the stump of our soul is what brings the possibility of sprouting new life through Jesus Christ. We need the dew drops of heaven to fall fresh on us to awaken our soul to the Living God. While people are considered to be a species of animal, we need to awaken and realize we are the creation of the Divine God. Today, people in cities around the world are living under the influence of humanism rooted in the mark of the beast. They serve the creature (the human being) and throw out the Creator (God). They have no belief in the remission of sin through Jesus Christ because they believe the human animal, like other animals, is what it is.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Romans 1:24-25

Like humanity today, Nebuchadnezzar was given the heart of the beast before he gave his life to God. Humanity is just a stump of what God created us to be, but through Jesus Christ we can be restored and reconciled to God.

“Let The Dew Of Heaven Fall
Upon My Thirsty Soul,
Let The Dew Of Heaven Fall On Me.
Let The Holy Spirit
Come And Take Complete Control,
Let The Dew of Heaven Fall on Me.”
(Christian Poetry)

Awaken my soul, come awake
To hunger, to seek, to thirst
Awaken first love, come awake
And do as You did, at first

Spirit of the living God come fall afresh on me
Come wake me from my sleep
Blow through the caverns of my soul
Pour in me to overflow.
(Church Hymn)

God chooses the base and despised of this world through Jesus Christ.

“‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, and the sentence by the word of the holy ones, in order that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, gives it to whomever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men.’” Daniel 4:17 Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged that what happened to him was according to how God has arranged things through Jesus Christ. He became nothing, very lowly, very humbled, very foolish, very weak, and very base. In his humiliated circumstances, God made it possible for Nebuchadnezzar to come to Him with a heart of repentance.

“But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.

1 Corinthians 1:27-31

Only the Spirit of God knows the things of God.

“This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, have seen. Now you, Belteshazzar, declare its interpretation, since all the wise men of my kingdom are not able to make known to me the interpretation; but you are able, for the Spirit of the Holy God is in you.” Daniel 4:18 Nebuchadnezzar let the whole world know that he chose Daniel to interpret his dream because Daniel was a man with the Spirit of God. The worldly wise and the intellectually mighty advisers could do nothing to help Nebuchadnezzar interpret the spiritual things of the heart.

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

1 Corinthians 2:10-12
