“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.” Romans 5:12-14
Sin is something that people want to get rid of, one way or another. Sin is a part of human nature, and so is the desire to get rid of it. Today’s world system has an interesting way to deal with sin; they simply turn everybody into human robots. They insist that people live by the beast that gives them what to feel, do, think, and say. By doing that, all of the sin associated with the desires of the flesh, human sentimentality, and the human spirit is brought under the control of the beast that has power over physiology. However, the beast cannot exist where the Holy Spirit is, which means living for Jesus Christ is detrimental to the culture of the beast, and belief in God the Creator is scorned. Today’s culture, which is global, despises the intermingling of the human spirit with the Holy Spirit.
The beast sets itself up as God, within the temple of God [our body] as the one who defines what sin is and is not. Because the beast lives within people by giving them what to say, do, think, and feel, not living by what the beast gives to say and do is “sin”. Basically, sin to today’s culture boils down to living for God the Creator, through Jesus Christ, in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The life of Holiness is despised by the culture of the beast. The beast is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click for a post on that. The beast with two horns like a lamb is Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit, as described in post on Revelations 13:11-13.
If those of the culture of the beast is made to feel righteous, with no condemning thoughts, then all is believed to be O.K. There is no acknowledgement from the society of human robots that sin exists at all, except for “sins” against humanity, or rather against the culture of the beast, which is global. Therefore, they say that the Bible is not needed, the Church of Christ is not needed (although they dominate within the fallen churches), Jesus Christ is not needed, and Christians are not needed. Which leads to the persecution of Christians from the hands of those who feel righteous in everything that they do.
The sin that I see in the society of human robots turns me away from them, away from their society, and towards the Bible. It is the Holy Spirit turning me away from the inhumane and cold-hearted ways of those who live by what the beast gives them to say, do, think, and feel. The Bible reveals to me that the sinful nature of everybody is the cause of all the conflict and calloused behavior. By coming to God, through Jesus Christ, my sins are in remission to make room for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit turns me away from those who mock God, discards Jesus Christ, and causes heartache, grief, and distress for Christians. The Bible enables me to see the nature, or countenance, of the system of the beast. I believe every word when the Bible says through one person, Adam, all of humanity has inherited sin. Only through the second Adam, Jesus Christ, is sin atoned for.
Paul explains that everyone are sinners, even the Jewish people. Just because they are the only ones who, for ages, had the law (Old Testament), doesn’t exempt them from their sinful nature. When Adam sinned against God, it polluted every single person after him. By that sin, every person died to God. The law was necessary to make them aware of their sin. Without that law, there would be no awareness of sin, and everyone would have continued living against God. Even if a person was perfect in every detail of the law, they were still corrupted by sin. These are the teachings of Jesus Christ that totally infuriated the church leaders, infuriated them to the point of plotting His death. It is only through Jesus Christ that a person is cleansed from sin in the eyes of God. Jesus Christ is the second Adam in the sense that the first Adam was created without sin. The only difference between the two is that Jesus remains sinless.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
