One thing separates the giving done by Jesus Christ and the giving done by those living by the beast that gives them what to think, feel, say, and do. Our Lord Jesus gives eternal good gifts, those living for the beast gives temporary worldly gifts.The beast gives breath/life to the image of the beast to speak by speaking and living through people everywhere. What they say and do is not going to contribute to the Spirit. By what they say and do, they are conformed to their place in life as they are groomed to the mark, name, number of the beast. They are not open-handed to Christianity.
One way or another, giving has an impact on human sentimentality and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Those who give according to the beast that gives them what to do and say gives in a way that draws a person away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Or their giving is designed to fuel a lifestyle that is destructive and tends to shorten a life. For example, they give a little cash so you can “live a little” but they oppose living a little for the Gospel of Christ.
When Jesus Christ gives, it is to enhance human qualities filled with His Spirit. The giving done by those living for this world leads to eternal torment, but the giving done by Jesus Christ leads to eternal life. Be careful who you ask from, be careful what you look for, and be careful whose door you are knocking on.
The Christ, whose name is Jesus, gives the Holy Spirit to whoever asks. Ask and God will give you the Holy Spirit. Seek the Lord through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit will be given to you. Knock on the door of the Cross, where Christ atoned for sin and the holy Spirit will be given to you. When you can speak for Jesus Christ and say that He is your Lord, the Holy Spirit has been given to you, “Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 12:3
We live in a world today that “…call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20 But our Lord Jesus will never give us a stone instead bread, nor a snake for fish. Jesus gives good gifts to those who, He gives the gift of the Holy Spirit.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! So, in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:7-12
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
