I haven’t had a decent spiritual meal at a church for years and really don’t feel a need to be involved with Sunday services. I feel more like my sense of human decency and the Spirit of Christ is muted in those “services.” It’s consistent with the mark of the beast (the human robots) that downplays human sentiments while eliminating the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s obvious that congregating inside a church building does not cause the internal government to go away. The church is as much affected by the internal control of thoughts and feelings as the rest of the world. So, I know that the Spirit of Jesus Christ and the Word of God is what’s important, not where I receive spiritual nutrition. Jesus Christ is Lord of Sundays, not the church. “For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:8
Of course, church leaders condemn those who ignore Sunday church and find other ways to feed themselves. “At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, they said to him, “Look! Your disciples are doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath.” Matthew 12:1-2
So, Jesus brought up the fact that David (A man beloved by God) and his companions got hungry and walked into church and ate the Holy bread, which is huge no-no (Matthew 12:3). Jesus Christ is greater than the church and He said so Himself, “I tell you that something greater than the temple is here. If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.” Mattew 12:6-7
Normal isn’t Coming Back, Jesus Is.
