Just before I became homeless, living in a homeless shelter for three months, others would ask me, “How are you going to take care of yourself, how will you buy your food?” They wanted me to surrender to the internal government, to live by the beast that gives people what to say, do, think, and feel. I literally replied that I would rather starve than to become the person they are asking me to be. I don’t ask God to prove the reality His presence by improving my circumstances. The presence of the beast in this world is enough to verify the reality of God’s Word. In this desert of 2022, I’m determined to hold on to my testimony for Jesus Christ. I’ve had desirable employment offers but there was one significant snag, I had to ditch my human sentimentality and the teachings of Jesus Christ. I refused, tactfully, in my interviews by saying that I believe the customers are the reason a company exists, and I expressed my compassion towards residents in nursing homes and to their families. That’s not what they wanted to hear, they wanted to hear less from human sentimentality and more from the robotic side, the side that doesn’t believe in God the Creator, doesn’t acknowledge the need for Jesus Christ, and doesn’t embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit.
In 2022, there is definitely opposition to human decency, the Word of God, and to Jesus Christ. Spiritual aspects are being replaced by the technology that has access to thoughts, feelings, and behavior. That creates a desert relating to the human spirit forming a relationship with the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Within that spiritual desert is the flourishing of human robots, those who thrive on their words, behaviors, feelings, and thoughts being given to them. In that desert, the approaches are continuous of those who want to recruit me to work for the culture of the beast.
In the desert of 2022, those who represent the system of beast seek those willing to betray their humanness and to betray Jesus Christ. In return, those persons are taken out of the desert. They are empowered with the authority to succeed, to be financially secure, and are full of blasphemy against God. Jesus Christ understands the desert that we are in today,
“For this reason, [Jesus] had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Hebrews 2:17-18
Scripture Text Matthew 4:1-11
“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man will not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”
Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He will give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they will bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.’” Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You will not tempt the Lord your God.’ ”
Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You will worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”
Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him.
