The Seven Last Plagues are seen, and they complete God’s wrath on earth. “Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete.” Revelation 15:1
The Seven Last Plagues are described in Revelation 16. Among the Seven Plagues includes global warming as the Fourth Plague. Global warming is directly related to the destruction of the power center of the beast in the Fifth Plague. The more powerful the United Nations become as the one world government the more intense the effects of global warming become. Without the power center of the beast, the global government of the beast becomes powerless (the United Nations loses its authority and power). The beast which forms thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors is no longer functioning. It is powerless to enable the image of the beast to live and speak through people and the mark of the beast is powerless to hold people to their place in life. With the loss of power, the Battle of Armageddon takes place as the Sixth Plague.
Today’s and tomorrow’s Christians are seen in Heaven. “And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.” Revelation 15:2
Today’s world government endeavors to make its global culture as tranquil, calm, peaceful, and stable as a sea of glass. When the United Nations becomes the one world government, they will have their “sea of glass” that lasts for about “half hour” before the fire of the judgment of God comes, “When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.” Revelation 8:1 The opening of the Seventh Seal unleashes the fiery events of the Seven Trumpets upon the earth. The “sea of glass” will indeed be mingled with fire. Those who live for God through Jesus Christ have victory within tribulation, we are given the harps of God and eternal life in the New Jerusalem. Click here for the events of the Seven Trumpets in Revelation 8, 9, and 11.
Through belief in God, receiving Jesus Christ, and embracing the Holy Spirit we have victory over the image and mark of the beast, and over the number of his name, which is “6-6-6”. Unbelief in God [6], rejection of Jesus Christ [6], and hardness against the Holy Spirit [6]. “His number is 666.” Revelation 13:18 Today’s culture is built on unity through the “666”. The image of the beast is given the ability to speak and live through people by the beast giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel. People are conformed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do, which determines their place in life, their standing within today’s culture.
A sea of glass mixed with fire describes perfectly the enormous chaos and tribulation which is going to be on this earth in the last days of this world’s existence. This happens amidst the promises of the global government to bring peace, security, and stability [a sea of glass]. In fact, we are already seeing the turbulence around the globe within the weather and social upheaval. And it’s no secret that the global government of the beast is here by the name of the United Nations, (As described in Daniel 8 and also in Revelation 17). Those whom John saw in Heaven, standing on the sea of glass, are those who have victory over the image and mark of the beast and the number of the beast’s name
We know we qualify as those who are overcomers of the government of the beast because the First Seal has already been opened (Click here for a description of the First Seal). The opening of the First Seal brought the one which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak in every city around the world. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do they are groomed to the mark of the beast. God puts His seal on the forehead of the followers of Christ before the severe global tribulation begins and after the opening of the Six Seals. We Christians today are living between the opening of the Six Seals and the sounding of the Seven trumpets. We definitely qualify for having the seal of God put on our forehead (Click here for a post on the Seal of God in the forehead).
Also, the beast reigns on this earth for “42 months”. Click here for a post on the beginning and end of those “42 months” from Revelations 13:5-6
All Christians who remain faithful to the testimony of Jesus from today until the very last days on earth are overcomers of the government of the beast. We are among those who the Apostle John saw standing on the sea of glass mingled with fire. Remarkable and true.
We are singing this song, “They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your judgments have been manifested.” Revelation 15:3-4
Messengers of Holiness who cherish Christians bring the Seven Plagues to the world. “After these things I looked, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. And out of the temple came the seven angels having the seven plagues, clothed in pure bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands.” Revelation 15:5-6
The temple of the tabernacle of the testimony is where the covenant of the New Testament is kept. The testimony is the testimony of Jesus, which is this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Jon 3:16 From that temple, comes the seven angels with the seven plagues. In other words, the Seven Last Plagues finishes the judgment coming against those who persecute we who live for the testimony of Jesus. When the tabernacle of the testimony of Jesus Christ is opened, that is the opportunity for people to ask forgiveness for their unbelief in God the Creator, to acknowledge Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and to embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit.
To be “…clothed in pure bright linen…” represents being clothed in the Holiness of God. In His Holiness, sin cannot live. When God sees Christ living in sinners like us, He considers us righteous for His Son’s sake and give sus eternal life. The Seven Last Plagues are designed to destroy those who live and govern by the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. This beast detests faith in Jesus Christ and gives life to the image of the beast to speak and live through people everywhere. The masses of the global culture are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.
“…having their chests girded with golden bands…” represents the high esteem that our Lord gives to those whose faith is in Him. We are very valuable to Him and He keeps us close to His heart. “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.” Zachariah 2:8
When angels are seen coming from the temple of Heaven possessing the Seven Plagues, it’s an answer to prayer for those of us who believe God, acknowledge the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and embrace the Holy Spirit. It’s bad news for those who rejected Jesus Christ and live for the blasphemous beast that hijacks our body by forming thoughts, words, feelings, and behaviors. Our Lord has bowls full of the prayers of Believers [which He hears in the Spirit], and from those prayers He begins bringing His judgment to all the earth, “Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.” Revelation 5:8
The temple of God is closed during the unleashing of the Seven Plagues. “Then one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever.” Revelations 15:7
We already know the Seven Plagues are in the hands of the angels and the wrath of God is starting to be unleashed onto the world. Global warming is here, and it is the Fourth Plague. The global government of the beast is also here operating through the United Nations, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and Revelations 17. Global warming and the global government are walking hand-in-hand. As the global government increases in power and authority the intensity of the effects of global warming also increases.
“The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.” Revelation 15:8
The Seven Plagues are unleashed at the end of this world’s existence. While the Seven Plagues are on this earth, the temple of God is closed, which is where the testimony of Jesus Christ is kept. His testimony brings Salvation to the soul. In other words, the people of the earth will not be responsive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and our born-again testimony is the Gospel of Jesus written on our heart. If today’s culture [which is global] is going to acknowledge God at all, it will be due to the events of the Seven Plagues, but they don’t, as quoted, “…and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelations 16:9 We are living in the days when the Holy Spirit is been taken from this world, as described in 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8
When Jesus Christ was on this earth, He cautioned us to enter into the Kingdom of God before the door into Heaven is shut. He tells us to continue in the presence of the Holy Spirit, even in the darkest hours. “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” Matthew 25:11-12 Click here for the parable of being prepared before the door to Christ closes.
The parable tells us about ten people who each had a lamp. Five took oil for their lamp so their light would be able to shine when the bridegroom came. The other five did not take oil with them for their lamp and had no light to shine when the bridegroom came. When the bridegroom came at midnight, the only people He could see were those who had oil for their lamp and their light was shining. The others were left out in the darkness because their light was not shining because they had no oil. Those who had oil in their lamp were taken into the wedding supper, but the others were locked out. Those who were locked out tried to get in but were told they were unknown to the bridegroom, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” Matthew 25:11-12
The parable of the oil in the lamps is letting us know that the door into the Kingdom of God will not always be open. To enter, we must keep oil in our lamp as a light in a dark world in preparation for the return of Jesus Christ. The oil is to live for Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, which keeps our light shining for His testimony. When the Seven Plagues are unleashed onto the world, it is going to be a dark, dark, very spiritually dark world. People will be hard, very hard against the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God will not be open to them. They will be locked out, and the temple of God closed. Even then, we must keep the testimony of Jesus shining in our life, even if it seems impossible for someone to come to Jesus Christ. Our Christian light might be the encouragement another Christian needs. The faithful few who hold to the testimony of Jesus will enter into the Kingdom of God.
The Holy Spirit also makes us aware that we live in a world where lawlessness is unleashed as the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way. Lawlessness is the rejection of God, the rejection of the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and ridiculing the Holy Spirit through whom we have Holiness. He is the only One who can restrain lawlessness, as quoted, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 The lawless one refers to the “man of sin.” Click here for a post on the “man of sin.” In the midst of lawlessness, we will have oil in our lamp when no one else does. The door into Salvation is closed to those who are hardened to Jesus Christ, but we continue to let the light of the testimony of Jesus shine.
Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
Matthew 25:6-8
The door into the Kingdom of God closes to those who choose to live by the beast which forms what they think, feel, do, and say. People in every city around the world lives for the beast except for those whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The beast enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do they curse the light of Christ and never have any oil. They are conformed to their place in the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.
“…to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
