Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to Know God Better.
The Spirit of wisdom and revelation of God helps me to know Him better. The Holy Spirit draws believers nearer and nearer to God, as a verse from a Church hymn says,

Draw me nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To the cross where thou hast died.
Draw me nearer, nearer, nearer, blessed Lord,
To thy precious, bleeding side.

By reading the Bible and abiding in the Spirit of Jesus Christ we draw nearer to God and get to know Him better. Those who live their life by their faith in Jesus Christ also loves all of God’s people and they desire to know God better. I pray that we all have the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know God better through Christ.

“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all
God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father,
may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better.”
Ephesians 1:15-17

Enlightenment to Know the Hope of His Calling.
The best enlightenment I have is to know the hope that I have in His calling. That hope is to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ. As this Church hymn reads,

To be like Jesus! This hope possesses me,
In every thought and deed, this is my aim, my creed;
To be like Jesus! This hope possesses me,
His Spirit helping me, like Him I’ll be.

His glorious inheritance is the Holy Spirit who is in every believer. It is the Holy Spirit who conforms us to be like Jesus. It is also the inheritance of eternal life that comes by His incomparably great power. His great power raised Jesus from the dead after lying in the grave for three days, and He will also raise believers up from the dead into eternal life.

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know
the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people,
and His incomparably great power for us who believe.”
Ephesians 1:18-19a

Resurrection Power of God.
God exerted His power when He raised Jesus Christ from the dead and took Him into Heaven for eternity. Christ is far above any power, authority, dominion, and sacred name that is present in this world today and also in the one to come. He is far more powerful than those who govern through the mark of the beast. The thing that has power over physiology sets itself up as being more powerful than God. It’s able to form thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, so it discards the need for Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit. It despises the idea of drawing near to God and conforming to the image of Jesus Christ. But God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit is far above every power and authority on this earth and in the life to come. He has power over life, and on the Day of the Lord those faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ will have eternal life, and those who take the other path will suffer eternal torment. The God of Jesus Christ is all-powerful, all-knowing, and is everywhere.

Jesus Christ left us the Holy Spirit, but the Paradise of God, where Jesus is today, is far above any space satellite and far above any space station. He is at the right hand of God in a place that is far above the darkest heavens of space and far above the most sophisticated of governing technology. The James Webb Telescope is not able to get a preview into Heaven, that preview is only seen through the pages of the Bible.

“That power is the same as the mighty strength He exerted when He
raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms,
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked,
not only in the present age but also in the one to come.”
Ephesians 1:19b-21

Christ is the Head of the Church.
Jesus Christ is the only mission statement of the Church. When the Church goes off into another direction then it is no longer the Church. Jesus Christ is to be the focus of worship songs and the focus of teaching and preaching. The Gospel of Christ is to be front and center. God wants everyone to return to Him through Jesus and to be conformed into His image. The Church is His body, which means the Church is to conform to the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The Church is to be the fulness of Christ who fills everything in every way.

“And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over
everything for the Church, which is His body,
the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.”
Ephesians 1:22-23

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
