- Where is Jesus Christ?
- Gospel Message is Born.
- Unbelievable that Christ is not in His Grave.
Where is Jesus Christ?
“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning,
the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.
They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.”
Luke 24:1-3
At this point, the body of Jesus Christ was placed in a tomb on a Friday and the women prepared spices to spread on His body. On Saturday, the women obeyed the Laws of the Sabbath and did not go to the tomb. It was on Sunday, the third day after His entombment that they went to the tomb to spread the spices on His body. The stone was rolled away from the tomb and there was no body! Jesus Christ was not in the grave.
Today, many people are ready to spread the spices on the body of Christ, it’s like opening a museum to Him. They are setting up memorials to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Memorabilia of renowned preachers like Billy Grahm are sought after, especially his preaching messages. I know people who are stocking up on Bibles due to the fear of the scarcity of supply and the scarcity of reliable translations. People have photo albums of the Church they attended which was “On fire for the Lord.” Yet, the body of Jesus has never been found! The stone of the tomb is rolled away, but the body of Christ is not found! Where is it?
The world may not know this, but He is alive! As they continue to spread spices on the dead churches and mummify the Gospel message, He is alive! As they attempt to eliminate Christians from their society, He is alive! Where is the dead body of Christ? There is none because He lives! Because He lives, I will live also, and He is coming soon to say goodbye to this dead world and to give me eternal life.
Gospel Message is Born
“While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’”
Then they remembered His words.”
Luke 24:4-8
This is the moment that the Gospel Message is first preached after Christ’s death and resurrection. It was first told to the women who went to spread spices on Christ’s body. They were wondering what had happened to the body of Jesus Christ, it wasn’t in the grave. It was then that two brightly shining Angels appeared to the women, and as the women bowed themselves, the Gospel message was told. The living is not found among the dead, no grave can hold Christ down, He has risen! He had to be handed over to sinners to be crucified, then raised to life on the third day. The women were the first to hear the news of Christ’s resurrection after His death.
Anyone who believes the Gospel message will be saved. Today, it doesn’t seem likely that anyone is willing to believe the Gospel. It sure doesn’t seem likely that anyone will bow themselves to Angels. Especially when they choose to live by the mark of the beast, which seeks to kill any idea of Angels, Salvation, or the Resurrection. Christ will never be found among the dead, and the global population is dead to Christ. The Living are those who hang on to the testimony of Jesus Christ. Jesus lives among the living and those who are alive are those who come to God through Jesus. Still, these are the days when Jesus Christ is being mummified. However, Jesus Lives and He is coming again. The world might think they have killed Him again, but the grave is empty, He is alive and coming soon to bring all believers eternal life.
Unbelievable that Christ is not in His Grave.
“When they came back from the tomb,
they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.
It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James,
and the others with them who told this to the Apostles.
But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.
Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb.
Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves,
and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.”
Luke 24:9-12
The women who found the empty tomb of Jesus went to spread the Word to the remaining Eleven Apostles. This is the very start of the spreading of the Gospel after Christ’s death and resurrection. The Apostles, who would become the foundations of the Christian Church, could not believe the “nonsense” that Jesus had risen from the grave. But one Apostle, Peter, ran to the tomb to see for himself, and he also saw that the tomb was empty. He wonders to himself what happened to the body of Christ.
Two thousand years ago when Jesus Christ was put in the grave, that was intended to put an end to all the “nonsense” that He was teaching. Especially the “nonsense” of rising from the dead after three days. Anyone can look around at the world today and see that the grave He was put in could not hold Him down. Two thousand years later the world sees that He is alive. Churches around the world has His name on them, Bibles dominate in cities around the world, and followers of Christ grew and grew to unheard of numbers. Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead and has shown Himself to the world.
Today, Jesus Christ is being put to death again and they are applying spices and trying to mummify His body. The government that operates through the mark of the beast is mummifying the Gospel of Christ. But Jesus lives! Every single believer will be resurrected from the grave and will share eternal life with Jesus. Because He lives, I will live too. Today, everything that Christ did is being mummified with spices. The churches are anointed with the spices of liveliness and wealth, but they are being mummified. They no longer preach the Gospel Message, Bibles are becoming scarce in their proper presentation, and there are only a few and faithful people who hold to the testimony of Jesus Christ. Yet, the risen Lord is returning, all people will see that He is alive, and believers will be resurrected to be with the Lord forever.
“Because He lives I can face tomorrow
Because He lives all fear is gone
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives
He lives
He lives”
(Church Hymn)
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
