Second Woe: Building community at the expense of others.
“Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed, who establishes a city by iniquity!” Habakkuk 2:12

Referring to Israel, we see how they have built their “town” [the State of Israel] with bloodshed. The Israelis have been in 18 wars since they were established as a state in 1948, click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. The iniquity on which they are building is the rejection of Jesus Christ, which happened 2000 years ago. If they would have said “Yes” to Jesus 2000 years ago, they would be Christian, and the Jewish culture and the State of Israel would never have existed. That’s because as Christians, we do not have a country on this earth to call our own, our home is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

Referring to the global government, they are building their global culture on bloodshed and establishing their global “city” on iniquity. For example, the bloodshed happening in Israel benefits only one entity, the United Nations. Israel will never have peace in this world until the United Nations has them “under their thumb”. Even as I type this, the members of the United Nations are progressing in declaring the establishment of the “Two-State Solution”, which Israel is strongly against, but Israel’s opinion doesn’t matter. That’s because the violence of Israel is driving the United Nations to declare themselves as the savior and peacemaker of the world. They are truly building their “city” on bloodshed as they progress in being established as the one world government.

Nowadays, with every fatal shooting or mass shooting, one thing immediately happens: a community vigil, televised, and participated in nationally [through television and social media]. They come together to proclaim how important coming together as a community is, to promote the “family” orientation of community values. These vigils happen globally and are televised to nations around the around. Today’s global culture, which is in every city around the world, are truly building their “town” on bloodshed.

The global government and its global culture are being built on iniquity. That iniquity is to serve the atheistic entity, which is their power center, and has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, say, and do. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to speak and live through people in opposition to God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The atheistic entity grooms the population of the world to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

The world can see how countries are being forced under the thumb of the United Nations through bloodshed and iniquity, this is happening in cities around the world. Violence, crime, and immigration woes [right here in America] are causing people to cry out for a solution. The solutions coming from community and government leaders are echoing the agenda and goals of the United Nations. The turmoil within the cities, states, and nations are enabling the United Nations to market themselves as the powerbroker of peace and savior of the world. They are building their one world government on bloodshed, and their iniquity is to serve the atheistic entity that has power over physiology.

In the United States: Crime, violence, bloodshed, and killing, are in every sector of society. The bloodshed is in the schools, churches, homes, the ranks of law-enforcement, in the rank of government officials, in restaurants, shopping malls, bars, festivals, in the open streets between complete strangers, on hiking trails, in camping places, at birthday parties, and the list goes on. Television broadcasts are routinely filled with “candlelight vigils”, locally, nationally, and globally. Then there are the televised funeral processions of cars lined up for miles as a casket of a law-enforcement officer, or other person, is carried to a resting place. On violence and death, people come together as a community, global community, to promote “family” values. At the same time, people also gather in protests against the violence, seeking for answers from community and government leaders as well as law-enforcement agencies.

The people are demanding answers to the question, “What will make the bloodshed stop?” The community and government leaders echo the goals of the United Nations for all people to belong to a unified culture, a local family culture in sync with a global family culture. Faith is placed in humans instead of faith in God through Jesus Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit. That is their iniquity as the global government is being built on bloodshed. Our Lord Jesus says they are “Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’… How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?” Matthew 15:9 and John 5:44

“Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the peoples labor to feed the fire, and nations weary themselves in vain?” Habakkuk 2:13

To “feed the fire” refers to the growing amount of lawlessness, war, and environmental turmoil that feeds the turbulence in the world. This is most prominent in the days when the events of the Seven Trumpets of Revelation 8, 9, and 11 are in the world along with the Seven Plagues of Revelation 16. Today, in light of the turbulence in the world, the United Nations sees an earthly Garden of Eden before them, but they are doing this work in vain. The Lord All-Powerful “sends up in flames” what nations and people work so hard to gain. “A day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness…A people come, great and strong, the like of whom has never been…The land is like the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; Surely nothing will escape them.” Joel 2:1-3 Click here for a post on Joel 2:1-11.

Habakkuk 1:5-11 speaks of the day when the Lord sends the atheistic “Chaldeans” to bring His judgment which is symbolic of the Lord sending the global government to bring His judgment to all the world.

The global government and its global culture are being built [in vain] and this is also the day when the knowledge of the Lord fills the earth. We see we are in that era already as the United Nations is progressing in being established as the one world government and the gospel of Jesus Christ has reached every continent around the world. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
