Fourth Woe: Bringing life to a false god in the age of technology. 
“What profit is the image, that its maker should carve it, the molded image, a teacher of lies, that the maker of its mold should trust in it, to make mute idols?” Habakkuk 2:18

The Jewish people were serving the false gods of other nations, made of wood and molded metals. This was far from serving God with all of their heart, mind, and soul. God is Spirit and those who worship Him are to worship from within our spirit. There is no way for a manmade image to mold with and feed the spirit of a human being like the Spirit of the Living God does. The image is a teacher of lies in that it leads people to behave in ways that distract from the spirit and draws people away from the Spirit of the Living God. Our Lord Jesus is not a created image of wood and molded metals, but lives in our spirit through the Holy Spirit. We trust in God through Jesus Christ not in external images made with the hands of human beings.

An image is something that those who market products use all the time. For example, the use of star professional athletes, actors, and actresses, are used to associate the performance of a product to the performance of the person whose image is used. Now, star college athletes are also being used. Likewise, the image of politicians is of extreme importance in order to make people believe that the policies or political party they represent is the same as the person. The product, brand, or political party by itself is mute, but a prominent person enables the product to speak and live. To believe in the image is to believe the lie of those who created the image to persuade people to believe in their brand and to trust it.

The false god of today’s world promotes itself as being humanitarian by using human beings to promote itself. This false god is given life to speak by living within the thoughts and feelings of people to influence what they say and do.

“Woe to him who says to wood, ‘Awake!’ To silent stone, ‘Arise! It will teach!’ Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, yet in it there is no breath at all.” Habakkuk 2:19

We live in a world where a false god has entered whose creator has said, “Awake!’“, “Arise!” “It will teach!” This is the entity that has power over physiology to give people what to think, feel, say, and do. This gives this entity the ability to teach people in every city across the globe. This is the entity that awakens and causes the image of the beast to arise in people to speak and live through them.

Being overlaid with gold and silver describes the technological age of today, which has no breath in it all, but is given breath to speak by living within the temple of God, our body, as if it is God, this is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 The “he” in this verse is the “man of sin”. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. People are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do.

Ezekiel describes this technological age in his vision of the space satellites, space station, and space shuttle in Ezekiel 1. This also explains the phrase, “...calculate the number of the beast for it is the number of the man…” Revelation 13:18 This signifies that the entity with power to give people what to think, feel, say, and do is not spiritual in nature at all but is artificial, click here for a post on the number of the beast is the number of the man. The beast and the person are one in that it is able to sit within us as if it is God.

The global government and its global culture are built on sand. The sand is the human spirit void of the belief in God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Only on this sand can the entity with power over physiology be able to sit within our thoughts and feelings as if it were God. Our Lord Jesus says to all of us, “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:26-27

“But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him.” Habakkuk 2:20
