“When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.” Ezekiel 33:13
The Jewish culture is living in their own righteousness because they have rejected the righteousness of God that comes through Jesus Christ. They will die in their sin.
To trust in our own righteousness is to put the human view of what is right and wrong above God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. That describes the world culture we live in today. The human conscience and spirit have been corrupted by the beast that gives people what to feel, think, do, and say. Self-righteousness builds a wall against Jesus Christ and enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people which decides for them what is right and wrong. They live by a worldly righteousness as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do. In that righteousness, they are living in unbelief and God will not remember any of the good works that they do. They will die in their sin.
Today, humanism is the standard of righteousness, and humanism is the fig leaf worn by those who live for the beast governing through what they think, feel, do, and say. Humanism is “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” Proverbs 14:12
Every day, we see the righteousness of humanism being promoted through the “sustainability goals” of the United Nations. Those goals are in every city around the world and promoted through those who welcome the beast that gives them what to feel, think, say, and do. However, they reject the compassion and love of God, they scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and they oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. They will die in their sin. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9, and the more powerful the United Nations becomes as the one world government the more intense the effects of global warming becomes. God sends global warming worldwide so that people will turn to Him through Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit.
As the Apostle Paul said through the Holy Spirit, “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.” Romans 9:16
Below are the “sustainability goals” of the United Nations that we are exposed to every day. “…but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die.”

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
