Free Narcan distributed in Circleville as a solution to epidemic drug overdoses

In Circleville, the Ohio department of Health is encouraging family members and any other citizen to carry Narcan. This is in the event that if a family member overdoses, then Narcan would be available to revive the overdosed person. Also, if a citizen walks by and sees a person that is likely to be overdosing then they can help the stranger by administering Narcan. The ODH has been distributing Narcan for several years. That’s because people overdosing or found dead has been showing up in Walmart dressing rooms, parking lots, gas station restrooms, local parks, in parked cars, in family homes, etc.

The Ohio Department of Health is also distributing condoms for free, without questions, to anyone who wants them. This is because there is an epidemic of sexually transmitted disease in Pickaway County. The Ohio Department of Health has statistics on hospitalized overdoses, deaths from drug use, and the spread of STD’s. From these statistics, they feel an urgency to distribute free condoms and Narcan.

The Holy Bible says that by the fruit that a tree bears we know what type of tree it is. We see a lot of deadly fruit blossoming in society and by that we know the tree that produces those fruit. That tree is the entity that has the ability to form what people feel, do, think, and say but the fruit they bear is darkness, death, and destruction. Unfortunately, today’s culture chooses to live by that entity and has no regard for the love of the Living God, no regard for Jesus Christ who can change lives by the remission of sin, and has no regard for the presence of the Holy Spirit within a person’s life. The atheistic entity has no regard for the conscience and spirit as it enlivens the image of the beast to speak and live through people. Today’s culture is groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to say and do as society lives in a poison garden of deadly fruit.

Jesus Christ is the source that brings light, Salvation, and life to society to cause the fruit of the Spirit to blossom. I can testify to the change that happened in my own life by believing that Jesus Christ is alive and confessing that He is indeed Lord of my life. Some of us who now live for our Lord Jesus Christ were among the drug users and sexually promiscuous, but we discovered Salvation and life through the light of His Gospel. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11
