In the humbling of America something new springs forth

Ezekiel 29:21

‘In that day I will cause the horn of the house of Israel to spring forth, and I will open your mouth to speak in their midst. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.’” Ezekiel 29:21

When Egypt [the source of the Israelite’s military empowerment] was overcome by king Nebuchadnezzar, the Israelites no longer had any capabilities to fight against their captivity to the Babylonian king. At that time, the Israelites were made powerless and defenseless as rebels and were no longer a threat to king Nebuchadnezzar. Rebellion made the Israelites weak and prone to destruction, violence, and slaughter, but the destruction of Egypt made them strong again through peace.

God caused the horn [power or strength] of the house of Israel to spring forth after the destruction of Egypt. At this time, Ezekiel was able to open his mouth to speak to their receptive hearts because the rebel leaders of the Israelites, who depended on power and might, had no more influence over them. Although still in captivity to the Babylonians, Ezekiel would have spoken words of peace, reassurance, and encouragement in living for the Living God. Ezekiel’s words would have resonated with the spirit of this verse, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6

A day is coming when the global power of America will be made into a “third world country” with no military or economic power. This will be done at the hand of the world government and its global culture. Israel will no longer have America to depend on in any way, shape, or form, not even with a meaningful, favorable, or powerful vote in the assembly of the United Nations.

Instead of leaning on America for might and power, Israel will have to find a new source of strength and power in peace. Today, the “horn of the house of Israel” is Jesus the Christ, who came to bring them peace, not as the world brings them peace, “... the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.” John 14:26-28

The peace of God does not come by tying a knot in the barrel of a gun, His peace comes within our spirit and soul by the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.

Sweet Holy Spirit, Sweet heavenly Dove,
Stay right here with us, filling us with Your love.
And for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise;
Without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived,
When we shall leave this place.

There are blessings you cannot receive
Till you know Him in His fullness and believe;
You’re the one to profit when you say,
“I am going to walk with Jesus all the way.

[church hymn]

The picture below is a monument that sets outside the United Nations building in New York. Because they are atheists who denies the Living God, they do not believe in receiving the peace of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ, they only have worldly peace to offer. Their worldly peace is found on the broad road leading to destruction and eternal hell, but the peace given through Jesus Christ is found on the narrow road leading to eternal life.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
