Bar-Life Closed, Cleaner City, Churches Made Irrelevant

After 1981, the city landscape of my hometown changed dramatically. There was a bar on every street corner, and all were known for allowing excessive drinking, drug activity, and attracting unscrupulous characters. Now, there are none, literally none. They have been closed down through city zoning ordinances and public nuisance ordinances. Many people applaud that “cleansing” because it makes the city look so much nicer. They have totally devastated every sin listed in the following verse, except the LGBQT+ part, which they support.

“Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

The thing is, those bars were closed by human works and efforts, and not by the Holy Spirit. In other words, nobody had a change of heart that made them quit going to bars, which would cause the bars to close for a lack of customers. No, the bars were closed by force against the desires of bar owners, liquor companies, and bar-hoppers. Today, people are staying home to drink and use drugs. The opioid crisis is outrageous, and alcoholism is higher than it was before. Here, in the town where I live, last week a person was at the drive-thru window of McDonalds, passed out and died of fentanyl overdose. Only by acknowledging sin for what it is can a better society be built. Only by coming to God through Jesus Christ can the heart be changed.

The internal government of the mark of the beast is behind the cleansing.  At the same time, it has flooded the churches with its human robots, those who live by the mark of the beast, and has made the Church irrelevant. The Bible is turned into a relic of the past and Christians are being mocked and afflicted. Many people boast about how sin is being eliminated around the world, but they don’t talk about the sins of the flesh that are given by the internal government. Those sins include the empowerment and authority that one is given when they choose to live by the mark of the beast. Those sins also include the unnatural knowledge, superb skills, youthfulness, health, feelings of holiness and righteousness, joyfulness etc. They are sins of the flesh because people around the world are choosing those fleshly benefits over Jesus Christ. So, getting rid of the bar-life sins by the works of human efforts include police tactics, but getting rid of sin by the Holy Spirit is called Salvation through Jesus Christ. Yet, people cannot see the sin of living for the internal government of the mark of the beast. They seem godly, but they are not.

“having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with such people.”
2 Timothy 3:5

Now, places like Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. have become the new party hang outs. They have big screen TVs and sports nights to attract crowds to their place to party. The crowds are nothing like those who swarmed the previous generation of bars. That is the society of human robots who live by the mark of the beast. It would be an absolute problem if an older generation bar-hopper tried to mingle with the new generation of partiers.
